This shop has the best singles selection i have seen in all the shops I've been to. The workers are awesome and very helpful. Yesterday I had made a deal with another collector to buy some singles but wanted to ensure authenticity so we met here and the workers were glad to take a look at the cards prior to purchase. I've been here multiple times to grab some single cards, and overall it's been a great experience. Customer service is really nice every time I go (usually on chill days), they're quick, helpful, and on top of everything. The ambiance can get a bit loud since there are table games happening behind the counter, but it's not really distracting. It actually adds a bit of energy to the place. The staff member who helped me had really good vibes, which made the visit even better. Definitely worth checking out if you're into cards. Jason & Nick & Cesar were all incredibly helpful and made the process friendly and fast! I called in prior to check if they were buying specific cards. Nick was really helpful on the phone and confirmed they did for me. He was very friendly as well. Once my boyfriend and I came in, Jason took care of us and explained what was going on each step of the way. He was making jokes and conversation while we waited for a response from the vendor regarding prices. Everyone seemed really happy to be there and helping. Cesar (the vendor for their Lorcana cards) got back to us while he was on his drive back home. Everything was really quick and friendly. We will be back soon because of the customer service! I tried to like this place and give it a few visits. The first visit was appalling as I waited and waited for someone to help me look at the case for Pokemon. The guy working the counter was busy chatting up one of the customers, talking about his day while 2 others sat behind the counter. It just took forever to ask for help since everyone was so "busy". The second time I visited here was today, and it will be my last. I was curious about the 30th anniversary drop today and I was in the area so I dropped by. The store was dead and there were at least 3-4 workers. The first person I approached for help was a woman with curly brown hair, blonde highlights. I wanted to know if they had anything for the drop and she said there's nothing til tomorrow, not even making eye contact, just constantly looking down, giving me short answers, distracted by whatever she was doing. I went on to ask if she would have any ETBs tomorrow and she said it would be released tomorrow morning. I asked what time, she said "at open" and I asked is there usually a line? She said sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't - still looking down, busy with whatever she's doing. I asked okay, how much will the ETBS be priced at tomorrow? She said "don't know". At this point, I feel pretty fed up with her lack of customer service, no engagement, short answers, and I'm literally disgusted with the way she tried to not tell me anything for tomorrow as if it's some big secret, like one day before? Come on. I don't know, the interaction just really put me off and I just walked out of the store immediately. This card store could do better if the service was better. I'll speak with my wallet and go further to Main Street cards where they actually treat me like a person. read more

If the shop hosted a "learn to play" type of event (even for an hour) where kids could learn to battle from some of the staff here, we would totally take my son. The shop is pretty solid for Gundam and Pokémon and One Piece locally. That said, service and value do need to be addressed. On the service side: Pretty poor honestly. Body language, eye contact, and tone are lacking. I understand the hobby demographic is not high class, but from the 4 visits I've had, the employees behind the counter show less care and attention. Probably a generational issue, but in business, that doesn't matter. Proper training should be issued. Though I am also sure they would use AI to formulate a "proper" response to any concerns or complaints about what they lack. Value wise: I requested to match or get close to market value from TCG player on product, and they rejected it statong that they dont follow market since they have to make money too "you know what I mean?" This has been a trend on LGS it seems, however one LGS in Artesia/Cerritos met my request despite card/cash payment. I'm pretty sure the script would later be flipped when the market goes up after supply drops with the response of "sorry marketing value is this so we follow that." If you can ignore all that, go for it. Otherwise just look for another store or go to Card shows. read more

If nothing scalpers stay close to market when it comes to prices this scammer charges way above market even if you show him market for booster boxes and last few sold! Everyone knows tcg player is widely used more for raw cards and collectr for sealed for it is more accurate for sealed. Go in one day and the next this scammers wants instead of 25 above market but 50! I mean again stay away from this shop! All their items an all and I mean all things are way above market! read more

One of the most amazing card shops in a heavily saturated area, Collectors Lounge truly stands out. The customer service is absolutely top notch with all kinds of game tournaments being held like Lorcana, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, whatever suits your fancy. Huge open space with tables all lined up to avoid the over crowding you get in many other shops. Prices are reasonable and like I mentioned, the staff are always happy to take in your extra cards. The owner Jeff has always been such an avid player and game enthusiast it is easy to see how the store has just taken off, even at their old location. Edgar and Cesar are game specialists with Edgar running the YGO scene and Cesar owning the Lorcana side of the business. Overall the shop is an icon, a store to visit to rate other stores against. I can't believe it has been a year since my husband, daughter and I have been playing Lorcana at Collectors Lounge. It's been such an amazing experience being able to see the shop grow from their Lakewood location to the new spacious and ample parking in Cypress. The customer service is really great there. I'm a mom and I love how they treat my daughter with kindness and talk to her and make her feel included. I have friends that shop at other card shops and they aren't very kind to the children. Jeff, Mandie, Cesar, Evan, and Edgar are really wonderful. They go the distance to make sure you're taken care of. Many times new players have asked my family why we chose collectors to be our local game shop. I tell them first and foremost it was the customer service we got from Cesar helping our family learn how to play the game by answering all our questions we would message him online while we were playing at home. Second it's the community. The Lorcana family here have been awesome. Everyone is so kind and patient with new players. Everyone is great with my daughter. We always look forward to playing on Saturdays at league. Also, since I mentioned this on my previous review for the old location, the bathroom is really nice and clean. Mom approved. read more
