Tim Xiong was terrific to work with. When I arrived he immediately assessed the situation and gave me some options. At first I thought the shop could knock out the dent, but he pointed some other details like the misalignment with the door due to the dent that would not get fixed if they just hammered the metal. Also he gave me price estimates for the different approaches. I felt he took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the pros and cons to each approach. The repair took about 5 days and the shop paid for a Lyft ride both ways to get me home. Tim kept me updated texts throughout the week. The repair was perfect, look at the pictures! The coolant leak is from an auxiliary radiator. I drive a CTS-V, so its not your basic cooling system. They were honest with me and said they have never changed that system on a V and wouldn't feel comfortable doing so. They could have easily just winged it just to get my money. But, they were honest about it and didn't even charge me for diagnosing the issue since they couldn't work on it. Definitely taking my other cars here when they need something.

They are honest and, in my opinion, absolutely number one. They have always been more than fair in pricing, but even more than that, they have always been straightforward with my vehicles have never pressured me to do anything that I didn't feel was necessary. They've always been good to give me a plan for what might need attention down the road, but never tried to sell me on service I didn't need. Never once have I ever felt like I've been taken advantage of. That goes the same for my wife. I have a classic 1997 Ford F150 and about four years ago I got some brake-work done by another mechanic in town. When I got the vehicle back, the brakes were worse than before! After going back multiple times to make it right, I finally washed my hands and walked away. I went to TWO other recommended mechanics after that to tried to get the situation correctly diagnosed and resolved. Both places said nothing was wrong even after a test drive with me in the vehicle each time. I started to think that it was just the fact that my truck was older. But after going to honest-1 for other things like oil changes and some engine work, I told them about my brakes situation. They took a look and found the problem in no time. And in just a few hours, they had me back on the road and now my brakes work beautifully!! Smooth and controlled! Just like they're supposed to be. Anthony and the team at Honest-1 are phenomenal. I promise, yup thank me later.
