There were countless things wrong with it less than 24 hours after buying it and after trying to get in contact with them, they were rude and kept ignoring my mother. I came into my appointment and they told me they were not fixing anything besides one thing, and I should have done a full inspection myself. So I was supposed to check absolutely every crack I suppose but you pay people to inspect a car before u buy it so what the fuck are your men doing!!!! I really wish I had listened to other reviews and also listened to my gut. Unfortunately I fell victim to this disingenuous company and I hope my terrible experience will keep others from making the same mistake. I recently purchased a preowned vehicle from this company and did not get a pre-purchase inspection. I trusted that Tim was being honest about the condition of the car. I got it shipped to me without even looking at it. The car fax was clean and had decent service records. I purchased the car and didn't get it until a week later when told it would be there the next day or two at the latest. When I got the car I drove it for 30 miles and then the check engine light came on. I took it to a reputable mechanic in my area and 3k in repairs later I had my car out of the shop. Still have issues and now I'm stuck with a horrible car. Paid for repairs which I was told were already completed, yet was completely lied to. Please stay away from this company. I should've known not to trust a used car dealer but I learned my lesson the hard way. Now I owe 20k on a car that may be worth 10k. Does this company care? No! I've attempted to contact Tim multiple times to speak with him and never received a call back. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I wish I would have done better research on this company prior to purchasing; just simply reading the reviews more carefully would have saved me time and money. They also appear to write good reviews for themselves in my opinion based on the info online and deny that it is their dealership when they receive bad reviews. Please notice a common theme in responses to reviews including my own, direct quote "We think you are confused with a different dealership. We checked our database and could not find a name matching yours for existing or previous customers." This is the most deceitful dealership I have ever dealt with. If this doesn't indicate the way in which they do business, I don't know what does. They forced off the check engine light, hid other problems and tampered with the brakes by applying new brake pads on top of old brake pads to hide the rotors that were in very bad shape. They denied doing this, but every mechanic has stood by their belief that the dealership tampered with the brakes and the car as a whole. At this point I have spent over $3,000 on the car and counting, I have been without the car for longer than it has been drivable (nearly 6 weeks) and the check engine light is on again. The last mechanic I brought it to said that the car has been tampered with and the check engine forced off, he believes if it would have been checked out like these people said then they would have caught the many problems so this only leaves 2 options either they didn't check it out and lied about it and the previous owner did the tampering or more likely they knew about the problems and hid them by applying new brake pads and forcing off the check engine light - either way it does not reflect well on them. After contacting them about all of this they have told me that I purchased the car "as is" and will not take any accountability for the issues. Do yourself a huge favor and go to a more honest and reputable dealership. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE. They are dishonest scam artists. read more

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. These guys are liars, crooks and completely unprofessional. I bought a used car for 16k in cash, and found out later that the car was repossessed with missing parts inside and outside the car. I recieved zero support from these folks, and every step of this sale had to be initiated by me, and not the salesman Tim. I called to get some support in receiving my title, FOB, and missing body part, and Tim not once returned my call, and I even had Tony hang up on me saying he's busy. It's been a month and I am still holding for parts of the car that Tim said he would send me from the start. If you like being lied to and getting ripped off, I highly recommend this place. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM WITHOUT HAVING VEHICLE INSPECTED. $15,000 IN NEEDED REPAIRS ON A OVERPRICED CAR ALREADY! Just purchased a 2004 Bmw 760i from your dealership. I called and asked about condition of vehicle prior to making an offer. I was told that the vehicle was in great condition. I asked what was done to it when it arrived. They indicated a tire rotation. Proceeded to ask if it was inspected. They said oh we just did a tire rotation was just needed. I asked if it was inspected. It was supposedly inspected. I purchased the vehicle and arrived within a few days. I had the vehicle fully inspected with an independant dealer and found over $12,000 in needed items. The check engine and air bag suspension light flashed. The vehicle has severe issus included the right rear suspension is bad where it's literally sitting on the wheel. The inspection found over 8 issues including cylinder 2,5,7,9 misfire. The rear shocks are $3,000 a piece alone. It needs a new 12 spark plugs, wires and more. The valve covers leaking, power steeking rack has caused all over the underneath. If this car was inspected which they didn't even agree to do the oil change until I purchased the vehicle you can't say you didn't see anything wrong with the vehicle. Until now we paid around $3,000 to fix the problem. And I'm pretty sure Car EX Auto was aware about the engine problems. If not, they are in the wrong business. We also tried to talk to the owner of the company, but it looks like not only the sale is done, but also the customer service. Both Tony and Tarek spent a considerable amount of time with us reviewing various cars, prices and the CarFax reports on each vehicle. We were never pressured to make a purchase - a nice surprise compared to most dealerships! They do not offer financing which was fine, as we had secured a loan through our credit union beforehand. The worst service ever. They just buy the crapiest cars, or nice looking cars and dont even check them then, sell then for a high price. I just bought a Mach from there. It said rebuilt title and in the description it said whole thing rebulit. Top of the line car... spent over 2k just fixing it back up again. A week after i drive it off the lot the fan locks up and over heats. it ended up being a half of a Mach 1... the whole back end was another red mustang! The breaks were messed up and the seat belt as well, but they said they would fix the breaks and seats belt. I bring it im... Takes a whole day to fix the breaks and dont even touch the seat belt. I want to thank the manager and owner of Car Ex for providing excellent sales service for my new SAAB 93 that I purchased from them. The car had some mechanical and cosmetic details that were pointed out to the salesman and the manager of the Car Ex which they are taking care of. I will go out this Saturday to pick up my new plates and have a piece missing, a headlight washer cover for the headlight wipers which they have agreed to replace. All in all the car is quite beautiful, the former owner had taken good care of it and the car drives quite well. I don't think you can go wrong with Car Ex, just know something about the car you are buying so you can point out any concerns or needs you might have before you make your purchase and they will gladly take care of replacing the part or doing the necessary service needed. Very bad car dealer!! I bought an Audi A3 with the LED brake on. They said me that was just a problem with the brake sensor but in reality all the brake were destroy. My wife (with my baby inside the car) was driving the car and she almost had big crash on the highway due to the bad state of brakes. I fixed my unsafe car for $800 (+ extra $600 for other hidden problems when purchasing the car) and they don't want to reimburse me. So, if you see this shop, go out!!! I want to point out that Car Ex Auto is truly a dishonest used car dealer. The story starts with me buying a 2002 325CI Convertible BMW. Car was appealing due to the low miles. However, Car Ex was aware that the car had been wrecked with enough damage to total loss car and repaired by them without generating a salvage title. This is key to note as I finish post. While on the car lot, they kept the car under their covered car display because it had a convertible top leak that they did not disclose. I spent several hundred dollars chasing this issue but real issue was that the frame on car was bent before my purchase as it turns out. Additionally, they glued the side rear flaps on the convertible top to make it appears as if it top and components were in good condition. I later found out that the glue was definitely improper and was hiding the issue that the side flaps were broken on convertible top and the top was not in good condition. The biggest issue to the car was the frame being bent on car that was identified when my auto mechanic noticed it when I had him look to see why the car always dragged when clearing speed bumps and going into drive ways with elevation. This dragging even occurred when approached speed bumps and elevated drive ways at an angle. The mechanic requested that I take it to a body shop for further evaluation after he immediately noticed frame damage. Upon doing this, I was informed that the car had structural damage that required car to be a total loss. After receiving this information, I further examined the car and noticed the car had been repaired before purchase at Car Ex due to the paint and new components on the structural damaged side of car. I write this to caution your purchase of a car from Car Ex Auto. This happened to me and I thought I was pretty good at buying a quality used car. Do not repeat my mistake with them! read more
