Brought my pristine Volvo XC70 here after my teenage son banged it up. They dd a great job working with our slow-poke insurer and made it pristine again. They were also very pleasant to deal with on the phone. read more

This place treats its customers like gold. The first time I had to go in since a bicycle ran into my car believe it or not. Marco fixed the problem and even worked on another bump without charge. The next time we were rear-ended and needed a new bumper. Lots of attention to the customer. Marco and Justine are both very knowledgeable and accomodating. If you gotta go through body work this is the least painful place to do it. read more

Super friendly place. Good prices, great work. They even let me use their loaner van to get to an appointment. I would definitely go to them again. I wish I had found them earlier! read more

Our car was declared a total loss by our insurance company after an accident. We wanted to fix it and we took it to Marco at Car Craft after a recommendation from our mechanic. The car was in bad shape. Marco patiently walked me through all the steps and answered all my questions and subsequent calls. He was thorough and clear, professional, stayed in touch throughout the process and delivered on time and within budget. The car looks amazing! I HIGHLY recommend Car Craft to everyone I know who needs body work. read more

I had some relatively minor work that needed to be done on my Prius. Marco personally greeted me, inspected the damage, and gave me a fair quote. The work was excellent. No hassles, and a feeling of TRUST. Five stars. read more

I was lucky to find Fernando after my Passat wagon was sideswiped last summer. He went beyond the call of duty, doing a beautiful repair with some extra work thrown in. I'd already gotten 2 estimates by the time I found him (including one from my insurer) and wasn't happy with either. Fernando basically became my advocate as I went through the insurance process, helping me understand my rights as a consumer while dealing with the insurers. He wanted to make sure that the car was repaired with safety in mind and helped me get the reimbursement to do just that. He's honest, smart and does beautiful work. He's done some touch up work for me since the accident and made some good referrals. He helped turn a very stressful situation into a positive one. I hope I don't have to have more bodywork done on my car in the future. But if I do, I won't go anywhere else! read more

Marco was the one that help my girlfriend and I. He explained everything to us, contacted the insurance, deal with them because we did not want after market parts on our less than a year old pruis. We got all brand new parts, and their work is amazing! We would recommend this auto shop to anyone that can get to them. We live in South San Francisco, and we still went all the way to Berkeley and get the work done! GREAT auto shop!! read more

So my car was sideswiped a couple weeks ago at the Whole Foods in Berkeley and I was instantly dreading the thought of having to take my car into a Body Shop. 9 times out of ten whenever I take my car to a mechanic or body shop it's a bad experience and I feel like I'm getting screwed over. Let me just tell you that was not the case at Car Craft. Marco was so cool, nice, and so professional I felt like I was at the 4 Seasons. Just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him. I'm telling you, if Jesus came back to run a body shop he couldn't do it better than the guys at Car Craft. The quote was actually less than I expected and the car turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go to this place if you need some work done on your car. Customer for life! read more

I feel like lifting all the other five star comments after my experience with Marco at Car Craft. It is an "honest, helpful & service oriented family owned business that delivers high quality results". Marco was able to rescue my car from salvage loss by brokering with my insurance company, and for a price that was very reasonable. The car now looks perfect. The car had sentimental value to me so his efforts were especially appreciated. The personal service, competency, the integrity were so gratifying. Car Craft is far superior to any auto body shop I have used in the last twenty-five years. I was led to Car Craft by a friend's recommendation and so glad. read more

Marco and his team are absolutely gems. I got into a fender bender on my way up to the bay area to see my cousin. He was willing to work with me in every way possible. He was considerate of my time crunch and was willing to offer discounts whenever he could. He was so considerate of my needs and took the time to tell me everything that would need to be fixed with the car for insurance purposes but was willing to do the job based on what I could afford. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

There is probably no more capable and HONEST car repair shop on the planet than Car Craft. Fernando is verging on sainthood. To say you are in good hands is the understatement of the century. Good karma all the way. Thanks so much Fernndo for being so wonderful !! RK read more

Fernando really lives up to his Yelp reputation. If I could give him more stars, I would! He is really helpful and cares a lot about his customers. My front right headlight came loose, and I wanted a quick fix. Once I got there, he explained everything to me very clearly and patiently, told me what needed to be done, helped me order the appropriate parts, and trying to help me save money the whole time. The parts were supposed to arrive the following day, but for some reason the UPS guy never came with them. I was pressed for time, and Fernando knew this and was concerned for me, so he actually went to the dealership himself and picked up the appropriate parts for me! He also touched up part of my bumper without my asking him to; basically he does everything to help the customer. He definitely cares more about customer care/satisfaction instead of making a profit. I HIGHLY recommend his service... I'm so grateful for everything he did for me! read more

What a great experience I had dealing with Marco at Car Craft--this is truly a business that has it all--excellent customer service, sensitivity to cost, and excellent craftsmanship in making my 2010 Volvo XC60 look like new after I had scraped the passenger side on a cement post. My regular mechanic (Bruce Ackerman from Ackerman's Volvo...another great local auto service) recommended Car Craft and I was delighted with every aspect of my interaction with them. Justine, the office manager, was very knowledgeable and able to give me a good idea what kind of work would be needed when I brought the car in for an estimate and Marco was out. Marco followed up the next day with an email and estimate. The car was done a day ahead of schedule and Marco even loaned me his car to drive while mine was in the shop. The repair job was beautiful--his technician is truly a craftsman. Though I hope not to have a reason to use Car Craft's services, should I need auto body work done, I would not consider anywhere else. Thanks Marco. read more

I can't recommend Car Craft highly enough! My car was backed into by a paratransit bus, leaving a huge dent. Car Craft came out to do an estimate of the damage where the car was parked. Throughout the entire repair process and process of dealing with the offending party's insurance Car Craft was very honest and forthcoming about the process and what they were doing. For example, while my car was in the shop they called to ask if I would prefer that the side be repaired or replaced. When I got my car back it looked BETTER than before it got hit! The were no scratches or dents left and the paint job was impeccable. Additionally, the car when it was returned to me was cleaner (on both the inside and outside) then when I had dropped it off! The repair job was done more quickly than I was originally told, and Marco, the owner, even stayed after closing hours so I could pick up my car after work. The repair job, as well as the communication and customer service could not be beat. The staff if also very responsive to picking up the phone and returning calls. Car Craft definitely deserves the 5 start rating that it has! read more
