Every visit started with them telling me, "This should take care of it for years." The breaking point was a 2-week stretch where I had to come back in 4 times (not exaggerating). Each time, I paid to fix the problem they diagnosed -- each time they told me a different part was the issue. I told them on the first visit I needed to know honestly if I should be done with the car and ended with 4 bills from them over a 2 week period -- Either they are dishonest and manipulative or just incompetent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Initially, I was optimistic--Amir was friendly, communicative, and seemed to care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After inspecting my Honda Accord (an older model worth about $4,000), he quoted me $2,500 for repairs, then offered a "discount" to $2,300. He even suggested he could "cut corners" to bring the price down to around $2,000--which immediately raised red flags. I decided to get a second opinion from a trusted, family-owned mechanic nearby. They quoted $660 total for all repairs and labor, using OEM parts. When I relayed this information to Amir, he "ran some numbers" and *miraculously* dropped his quote to $995. Yes, you read that correctly - a whopping 61% discount from his original price. These guys are scammers. Do not give into their kind words and "friendly" gestures. Do not trust car mechanics who want to "cut corners." Trust your car, money, and--most importantly--your safety with another mechanic. Update: local mechanic told me throttle did not need to be replaced, just cleaned. Charged me $60. Car is up and running - no issues. read more

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! I took my car in for a simple oil change which worked fine initially but over the course of 2 months I noticed this puddle beneath my car in the garage and out of curiosity I got close to the fluid and realized it was OIL LEAKING FROM MY OIL FILTER. I brought the car back in to them to see if the gasket wasn't screwed on tightly and if they could just double check it for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The mechanic was nice at first until he started "assuming" that the only reason my car is leaking oil is because my car is old.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not once did the mechanic(s) take even the slightest responsibility that my car may have not been maintenanced correctly. And mind you my car is only from 2015 and I've kept it in top shape getting an oil change every 6,000 miles as well as getting regular car maintenance. With that many oil changes I've gotten over the years how could it suddenly start leaking oil when it has never leaked before?? Doesn't make sense to me. And on top of that they charged me $120 just for them to check the filter and tell me "oh yeah it's leaking". After that, he wanted to charge me over $700 just to fix it which is extremely out of budget for me so I took the car somewhere else to get a quote and I ended up getting the repair done for ONLY $170. So again, would not recommend this place they don't own up to their mistakes and they hella overcharge you. 0/5 stars if I could. read more

Do not take your car there. I took my car in for an Oil change and tire rotation. I also noticed a very slow leak on one of my tires and asked them to check it. They stated that they plugged a small nail puncture and charged me $46. When I got home, I check to see where the tire had been plugged. Nothing had been done to the tire. All they did was over inflate my tire to 42 PSI. I went back and asked them to show me where the tire had been plugged. They could not and acknowledged that it had not been plugged and gave me a refunded. Whoever serviced my car also helped themselves to about $3 worth of quarters I had stored in an empty mint container in my side glove compartment. My mistake for not taking it with me when I dropped off my car. read more

I've gotten all my oil changes here for the past 2 years. Yesterday I went in for an oil change and they ended up having to replace my oil cap because "it was plastic and completely stripped" which is likely from them over tightening it and not being careful removing it again. So they charged me for a new aluminum cap and $400 in labor (when they needed to remove it anyways for the oil change), when they were the ones that broke it. They also like to set their prices high but give everyone a coupon so they feel like they're getting a deal. Just shady, support a better neighborhood business. read more

Brought my car in for a 4 wheel alignment. They gave it back only having aligned the front wheels. They told me the rear was only slightly out of spec, but I paid for them to put them into spec regardless of how much it needed. I brought it back in to have them adjust the back, but they just let my car sit in the lot for two days before I called to see if they had done anything to my car. They said they looked at it again and couldn't do anything. I check my dashcam footage and they didn't even move my car. Wanted to like this shop because it's so close but cannot recommend spending your money at a shop where the employees are lazy. read more

This place is awesome for tire repair. I came in at 5:00PM on a Saturday after suffering a flat tire right outside Trump Tower in downtown Chicago. They told me they were all booked up for the evening but said that they will do what they can to sneak me in and resolve this issue. I'm from Wisconsin and I had to drive home that night and I didn't want to have to do that on my dinky little spare tire. They fixed the issue in about an hour. Superb service as well - the guy who helped me was honest and friendly. I can't speak for their auto repair but for emergency tire repair, these guys are great! read more

My family and I were going to this place for many years. They've been robbing us for so long that I just realized it. Today my car was there for 12 hours and they were charging me a $150 for storage. What a rip-off! They informed me 5 minutes before closing instead of letting me know that there would be a charge if my car was left overnight. I want the business to know. They looked at my new (used) car from top to bottom and gave me a comprehensive rundown of what it needs, explained everything and answered all of my dumb questions. I was traveling and had issues with my vehicle. I wasn't sure if I should drive back home as I was four hours away but it was the weekend before Christmas . I popped a tire and had been riding on a donut all week :( Finally did my research and decided on this place based on reviews. I called and they let me know they were first come first serve. I only had a two hour window to get it done so I headed there immediately and they got me in right away. Super quick paperwork and very kind and knowledgeable front desk. By the time I grabbed a coffee and nearby and took my daughter for a walk around the park, they were calling to tell me they were done. One hour and super reasonable price. When the tire had been fixed an hour and a half later, I was charged $62.52. The same person who gave me the initial quote explained the total included $14.99 for the plug they used to seal the hole and taxes. On the plus side, they allowed our dog in the waiting room and had free decent coffee. I had just had a tire repaired for the exact same problem at another shop in Chicago for $35, with no additional charge for materials or taxes. read more

My mother in law came in with a slow leak in one tire. Tires had a total of 22K miles on them. She was told that she needed four new tires and was told it would be $800. Final total was $1064. She was upsold on a road hazard warranty that she does not need as she is a AAA member. She was there a total of 45 minutes and was charged $620 in labor alone. $620 an hour is outrageous. I strongly believe she was taken advantage of as both a senior citizen and as a woman. Unless you like paying $620/hour for labor, steer clear of this dealership. read more
