They were good about letting him know his options. Fast forward to modern day, I was in need of rear brakes. I searched on Yelp for places with good reviews and used the project functionality. Transtastic came up on my radar again. Gary quoted me a fair price on Yelp for my rear brakes. My first day off of work, I called Javier to see if they could get me in. Upon arrival, the team quickly pulled my SUV into their garage. Javier did a quick inspection to determine if the dealership diagnostic was accurate. Javier recommended that I service both brakes and was thorough in educating me about why my front brakes also needed to be replaced. I left my vehicle with an estimation of 3 - 4 hours. It was completed in less than 3 hours. By the time, I was walking out the door, Javier was ordering my parts. I was satisfied with his communication and honesty in timeframe. Overall, I felt informed of what was going to take place with my vehicle. While I didn't plan on getting both brakes, I understood that the front ones were heavily rusted as so see with my own eye a few months back. This auto shop doesn't have much of a waiting area but plenty of shopping, eateries and even a library to bide your time nearby. The customer service here was superb and I am happy to use this place to replace my brakes. I easily saved 33% coming here versus the Mazda Dealership. I would say within 24 hours of making the appointment for the diagnostic to be performed on my car and actually bringing it into the shop to be serviced. My car was complete and ready to drive again. I am very satisfied with the work that was performed on my vehicle. The staff at the shop is also all very friendly. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend the shop to everyone with any car issues. The price I paid was amazing and I'm a super happy customer.

On Sunday, August 23, 2026, I began experiencing difficulty turning the steering wheel of my truck…read more Monday at 9:07am I called Delgado's Auto Service and spoke with the manager, Juan. At first, he told me to bring the truck so they could look at it. He then changed his instructions and told me to bring it in the following morning Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. The next morning, Tuesday, I arrived at approximately 8:15 a.m. The owner George was waiting for me. He told me that he had 50 cars to work on and instructed me to return in two weeks. I explained that I needed the steering problem repaired and that waiting two weeks is not acceptable and too long. I asked if he could give me an appointment or, alternatively, return my money so that I could take my truck somewhere else for repairs. I was shocked when he told me that he would not discuss returning my money unless I first removed the review I had posted back in April 25, 2026 about the visual marks on my truck (my truck had footprints on the bumper and a dent with grease). These issues were extremely concerning, especially because I had brought my vehicle to this business expecting professional service and care. The owner stated that I had a one-year warranty on the repair and parts. However, I believe he is attempting to push the expiration date forward rather than properly address the problem that occurred after the repair for the steering. I asked him to provide me with an appointment or put his statements in writing, he refused and said that he dose not do that. When I took out my camera to record what he was saying, the owner quickly walked out through a side door. I asked the receptionist to tell him that I wanted to speak with him. She returned and told me that he would be out in a minute- the owner never came back. While I was waiting, the receptionist accepted a walk-in customer, minutes later she schedule an appointment for a customer on the phone for service on Friday. At the same time, I could see the owner walking around inside the repair area. Since I was waiting without the owner coming back, I went to the open service bay and mention to him that my family had been bringing our vehicles to his business for years and that he had made money from our continued business and loyalty. So, instead of treating me as a valued, long-time customer, I was treated with disrespect and as if the steering problem was to cost him a ton of money. The steering problem is the result of that day (4-25-26) where the work was done careless or of an inexperienced worker. His workers caused the problem as to why I brought my truck back. Yet the owner refused to inspect the vehicle, provide me with an appointment, or return my money. The cost of the steering repair was $890.00. Since the repair was completed 4 months ago, the owner could have considered refunding a prorated amount. However, the cause was due to the repairs being of poor quality and not properly completed. With the owner's refusal to professionally address my concerns to get the problem resolved in a reasonable amount of time, I respectfully request that this matter be taken seriously and that I receive an appropriate resolution, including consideration of a refund for the $890.00 I paid for the steering repair.

What's damaged, I don't know, do I need a new bumper because something got damaged behind it, again, no clue. Oliver replied fast with an accurate quote and information. He also answer all questions I had. I decided to give them a try. So glad I did! How much time is wasted on dropping off your vehicle? With them none, same for pick up. Yuri was so pleasant and helpful, I inquired about getting a detail, specifically the inside. It really needed it. He gave me some info, but said I should speak to Oliver. At first I was going to go mini, but then went full. When I inquired he told me what they do for each, there was no upsell, no pressure. I will say it looks beautiful. I also had them do some touch up where the paint came off. The gave the exterior a very good wash. I'm very pleased with the whole process, and recommend them highly. I'm proud to be seen with my vehicle again, instead of walking away quickly. You know how it is when you ride looks trashed. So glad I made this choice.

While enroute to Iowa she stopped at the Decalb Oasis for fuel. Uppon leaving the fuel pump the car started bringing and would not shift into park and the car was inoperable. She called in a panic and told us what was hapening. Our daughter doesn't deal with these situations awesomely and threw up. I told here to engage parking brake and turn on the hazards. I would be on my way and will be there in less than 30 mins. As I got there I see she is stopped in the middle of the driveway parking lot and causing a backup at the oasis. I approach the car and ask her to turn off the ignition. "DAD I CAN'T" is her response. I show her how the shift lock over ride is used and get the vehicle into neutral. We push the vehicle into a parking spot and remove her personal items, leave the vehicle unlocked and head back to Naperville. While driving back to Naperville I call Dupage Transmission and speak with Scott. I explain the situation and he gives a suggestion of a flat bed tow company. "Get it towed and we will get it fixed today" Wow a shop willing to stop their other projects to get me back on the road asap! The vehicle waswas back on the road same day and my daughter was able to not cancel her weekend. A true mom & pop establishment that only cares about their customers. This was such a pleasurable experience that I had them complete a few other maintenance items I've been putting off. The vehicle is ready for another 90k. The driver spent ten minutes trying to unlock the steering so I could get it started, or at least put it in neutral so it could be towed. Since it wouldn't go into neutral he wouldn't tow the car as it would screw up the transfer case. I highly appreciate his honesty, and that he wasn't about to make a buck and screw something up. When he was couldn't do so he told me I should call a locksmith to fix the problem, and told me there was no charge, The locksmith he recommended was great, and repaired the problem within 45 minutes from calling them (Omega). I appreciate Guerrero's honesty, and will use them as soon as I need to.
