I come to this location all the time and the food is always good. The restaurant is nice and clean and so are the restrooms. They have plenty of inside seating and have a kids menu. The customer service was amazing and it took less than 10 minutes for us to receive our food. On the down side the fried okra could have been cooked a little longer but other than that everything was good. I definitely recommend this location!! read more

Lobster rolls are a joke. A mini bun with a couple of scrap lobster. Or imatation crabmeat. I think it was shark. read more

This was the cleanest and friendliest Captain D's I've been to. Customer service was on point and employees were awesome! Did not stink inside and food was great. Fish has shrunk in size compared to how they use to be back several years ago though. But I guess they have their reasons. Overall love this store. This is my go to spot and will stop by on my way to FL from GA is I want captain D's. Manger and owner should be proud! Keep it up. read more

This has been the most unprofessional visit I have experienced at this location. For starters, we were in the drive-thru for thirty minutes due to the speaker not working, and we ended up having to order at the window. The young lady at the drive-thru window played dumb as if she never heard anyone in the drive-thru. This seemed suspect when there was a line after and before me filled with people, and the cars before me ordering at the window. Fast forward, I explained to her I wanted to order a platter and use my free coupon for my birthday dessert. She called for a manager who was very aloof when dealing with me. She explained the location doesn't accept them which is weird. I use my birthday gift every year at this location but once again (ok, fine). I was, however, put off by the fact I had to wait 30 minutes in a drive-thru that wasn't answered by a rep, got to the window and they seemed to not care. The front line rep came to the window asking what happened, I repeated and explained I would be contacting Corporate. The young lady laughed and stated, "We're a standalone store and not part of Corporate". In other words, call whomever you please we don't report to them. At this point, my food still hasn't been ordered and it's over 30 minutes. I am still not pleased with the service and asked would I at least be provided a courtesy item (drink, etc.) due to the inconvenience. The manager said, "no we don't give a courtesy and what is your order?". She could have cared less about my frustrations and at that point, I told her no thank you. She then said ok, bye and closed the window. What type of service is that? It was the young lady with glasses and my arrival time/departures are included within the parenthesis (Today 4.17.19, I finally got to the window around 7:07P.M. but we were in that drive-thru since 6:35P.M.) With that being said, I expected better from this location and above all management. I was not expecting a ticker tape parade but I wasn't expecting an incompetent drive-thru worker and manager acting as if they could have cared less about my time being wasted. It only takes a few seconds to smile and at least pretend to care. I felt like a second class citizen leaving that drive-thru and it really hurt my feelings. Therefore, I decided to lodge my complaint with Corporate after all, even though I doubt you give a care either. read more

Food was okay and what I expected. We wanted 2 chicken tenders for my granddaughter they kept wanting to make it a meal. After 3 attempts we thought we had made ourselves clear. Nope, we got the meal. I asked for the nutritional information so we could deal with her insulin pump. The cashier had no idea what "nutritional information" was. The manager came over and I attempted to explain what I needed without using the word "nutrition" and asked about the number of carbs in the meal. I was told "they didn't no nothin' about that." We just had dinner at this restaurant and were very disappointed in the food but mostly in the service. The food first. Our shrimp were old, the hush puppies were greasy, and the potato had raw bacon, not undercooked, but raw bacon in its toppings. Now the service. We were one of 3 groups of white people who were treated terribly. We had to retieve our own food, ask for condiments at the counter, all the while the black customers were waited on at their tables. We are from out of town and work here in the Opelika/Auburn area often. We will NEVER visit your establishment again. read more

I am not usually a big fan of this type of fast food seafood restaurant, but I have to say that this particular Captain D's is outstanding. My husband is a big fan but he'll go out of his way to come to this particular store. We ate here last night and I found the food to be very good, the service was excellent and very friendly. It's fantastic to see the young people taking such pride and enjoyment in their jobs. We usually eat here a couple of times a month since we work nearby and it's rare to have a bad experience here. I can't say that about other locations since they're pretty much hit or miss. They seem to have put together a consistently good staff which makes a big difference. If the staff is happy, they keep the customers happy. read more

I love this restaurant in particular over all the Captin D's I been at because the food is ALWAYS hot and sooo good! I mostly come here on my lunch break and I'm always happy with the service. Each time I go thru the drive thru, even when there's a line, the service is fast, yet still great. Plus, you can't beat there $4.99 deal cause you get so much for so little money. The last time I went was this week in their hush puppies were everything and more, you could tell they just came out the grease, if I had enough time on break I would've went back for more. I swear, you would no regret going here, there's nothing negative I can say about this place, Oh yea, very clean inside during the few times I go inside instead of the drive thru. read more
