Great food and amazing service!! :) server was very kind and on it! My favorite boiling crab place so far!

This place is cool. My family and I love to eat there the people are always nice they have t.v for the games. Great food, hands down, and the best sea food boil in town. read more

Best seafood in town, and the prices are great. I never give a 5 star, but this place deserves a five-star review.

My wife and I tried this for the first time tonight. We got the calamari for an appetizer and a couple glasses of wine. Isabella was our server and brought our drinks quickly with a small hiccup on my wine. I asked for the Zinfandel and she brought me a white zin. She promptly fixed it for me and also left me the wrong wine as well. The calamari arrived fast and hot, it was great. We then ordered the King Deluxe Boil, and in less than ten minutes we had our boil delivered. Isabella helped us pick the best option for what we were looking for, we got the house seasoning which is all the different seasonings they have combined, with a medium spice level. Everything was delicious and the cook was perfect. The medium spice level was perfect for my wife as it had a little kick for her. It wasn't over the top hit but really good. It was a very good portion of food, we were both full when done. We will definitely be dining here again. read more

Very filling. Came out fairly fast and price was appropriate for portion size. Would return again! read more

This was my first time eating Louisiana-Style seafood. I was a little overwhelmed with the menu but the waitress was extremely informative & patient with my questions. Our food came quick & the service was great. Checking in on me and my party periodically. The food was good if you like spicy then I would recommend flaming hot or volcano. I got Cajun seasoning with medium spicy and it was the perfect amount for me. Overall, I enjoyed my experience there and would come back again. read more

Captain Crab - Menu cover - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Clovis, California

happy as a clam am I after eating here. I am out visiting from the East Coast and have been craving fried oysters since my last visit a year ago to Morrow Bay. I went on line scouring yelp back in NY and found that this place does oysters several ways. Fried oysters that is and sure enough, boy did they get that right. I ordered onion rings with my meal and a delicious surprisingly good healthy portion salad and good beer choices it was more than I anticipated and very reasonable price. Good tartar sauce, extra lemons and good hot sauce...i could have danced in happiness! Super crisp, super fresh oysters and delicate filigree crispy crunchy onion rings and a cool refreshing romaine lettuce and intriguing rye bread croutons with a decent blue cheese dressing! The place is kind of cavernous but the tables are well spaced and there was plenty of room to navigate and breathe. Our young server was very friendly and knowledgeable and moreover, happy to serve and happy to present the food she was serving which is nice, very good experience overall. telling everyone, all the locals i know. thank you. read more

Came out to celebrate our daughters birthday Food was delicious. Definitely coming back. Our server Mitchell, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout dinner. Food : we got the $60 family meal type of thing where you can choose from lobster , crab , headless shrimp, shrimp with heads , black mussels, green mussels. We picked the lobsters, headless shrimp and black mussels. It also comes with roasted potatoes and corns. You can also choose the sauce and levels of spice. We picked the captain sauce with mild spice which was super garlicky, buttery and delicious:-) Lobster was succulent, shrimp were nicely veined and the black mussels were fresh and plump. Service was great as we got seated right away and Daphne was very attentive and answered all our questions. She was knowledgeable about what was in season. Ambiance is bright , airy and fun with a huge lobster and a shark on the walls. A real life size Captain Sparrow statue is there too. There are outdoor seatings but it's way too hot in Fresno to sit outside lol. There's a little bar inside . read more

Captain Crab - Dozen oysters, lots of lemon and sauce! - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Clovis, California

Seafood is good.. seasoning and flavor is blah. I wouldn't go here again. I rather go to Crawfish Guys on Bullard and First.

If you like crab this is the place to go!!!! Great customer service also. The decorations are so cute made me feel like I was at the beach in the Central Valley. Always has specials going on. Love love this place . If you haven't tried them you need too. read more

The food was great, had the king's feast and was plenty for 3 people (wife and other person were a bit lighter eaters, but I'm a HEAVY eater, so it balances out.) The flavors were good, we had the Captains mix, which is a mix of everything, with mild sauce ($5 for sauce on the side) on the side. We loved their pricing on the oysters (12 for $24 raw + $1 if you get them steamed) and beers ($8 for 22oz premium beers, like Blue Moon/Fat Tire) Would come here again if friends/party suggests! Just being a bit nitpicky and I like to offer 4 stars for room for improvement of service and flavor could be improved, but still really good. Service wise, for a 9 person party on a mostly empty Monday night, it could have been better, like checked in on more often. We had to ask for a second beer twice, with about 10-15 minutes between check in. read more

One of the best seafood restaurant I have been to. Staff done a great job. Very clean place .

Setting was more fast food and loud. Food was okay typical of most of these type of crab and sea food places. Kinda pricey for what you receive. I don't think I will eat here again. read more

The food was awesome! I ordered the two item combo of fried shrimp and calamari with onion rings. The batter was light, crunchy and fried to perfection! Not greasy at all! I was impressed! My husband had the catfish and Cajun fries they were crispy and delicious and again not greasy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Alright now, yall know where i go somewhere. That i will be completely honest. And just because i might not have liked something's. Everyone should go try it out for themselves. Very friendly greeter at the door. The place wasnt packed so we were seated quickly. Its a very clean place. Plays good music too. I ordered a fried oyster basket. Basket comes with choice of fries. I chose sweet potato fries. Everything was fried to dang there perfection. Loved the basket. Then ordered the captain's feast. The sauce was just to lack luster and watery for me. I even ordered extra sauce. And that didn't help. Which turned me off to even try and dip my seafood in the bag anymore. Will I return yes just to try other things. read more

Ordered shrimp no head with extra corn and Cajun fries. Absolutely delicious. Great price this is my families new spot. Highly recommend.

The seafood tastes great and the waiter was very helpful, I would definitely come here again!

Cakes in a Saturday night, 7pm. Walked right in. Felt like I hit the jack pot. Ordered beer and appetizer to start with! Calamari was delicious!!!. Then ordered the famous low country boil. Wow, everything was so yummy! Definitely will be back for sure!!! Dafy was very attentive and gave great customer service! Thank you for being here in clovis! We needed this restaurant!!! read more

Wasn't a fan of the fried pickles- thought it was fun to try but everything else -the shrimp no head and snow crab legs both with the captains seasoning -was excellent. Staff was attentive and they provided all the necessary fixings to keep you clean. We will definitely be back. read more

Yum!!! Pretty good seafood... The place is pretty clean, just as it gets hotter, the restaurant isn't as cool. I say do take out in the hotter months. Eat from home so it's comfortable and cooler. Mother's Day special was good deal, but I think I now know which crabs I want or don't want if I go back next time. Still dungeons crabs are my favorite.. snow n king ehh was a little too salty for me. read more

The flavors were good. We ordered shrimp with head on and no head in the captain special and Cajun sauce along with sweet potato fries. Right amount if spice/hear. The fries were waffle style, they were bit too greasy. Our order was to go so can't say much about service. The reason I give it 3 stars is because the shrimp was not deveined. read more

We went on Mother's Day ordered the "special." Waitress says it's A LOT OF FOOD. After spending an hour on crab cracking we left hungry. Guess we all have different options on A LOT. We went for the "experience"...but stopped off on the way home and grabbed more food. read more

I usually don't like writing negative reviews but the seafood is SOO BAD go to cajun crackin if u want actual flavor and great service. Seafood flavor only like butter, staff was so bad, they would come up to us once and then never show up and when we would try to ask a question they had already left. they kept trynna avoid us and didn't give my friends there food until 30 minutes later. overall, the seafood is bland and not worth the money! read more

Appetizers came out quickly and tasted decent. Breading was not too oily and had good flavor. You can choose your seasoning for the seafood boil and it was delicious with a reasonable price tag. Not pictured, but the chicken strips were ordered for a child and it received rave reviews from her. Staff was polite and atmosphere was casual and family friendly. read more

Amazing. My husband and I decided to do the family feast for 60. This is about 3 LBS and we were able to finish the bag. We got the captain sauce and I would say it's the closest to boiling crab. Being from the bay and knowing the frenzy of boiling crab I was actually surprised this place wasn't busier. It did just open and I'm sure it's going to become more popular as people start realizing how great the food it! read more

First time coming here and let me say we've tried all the places around and this is the closest we have had to the boiling crab!! It was amazing! "Captains special in flaming hot" would be a boing crab "the whole shabang Medium". Service was great there was no line overall it's definitely a must try! read more

Love the food and the atmosphere. Beer is well priced for the location. Great date spot after a movie

The food was fresh and full of flavor. I got the shrimp and clams in medium spicy Cajun and my husband got lobster and snow crab legs in medium spicy Cajun. The service was also excellent. read more
