Found this place on Instagram and I'm pleasantly surprised. Best seafood Cajun place in Massachusetts! Workers were friendly and the seafood boil is always flavorful. The inside was clean and casual with menus on the wall and ceiling. Highly recommend going here.

Love love love this place! Love the food and the service. We came here on Saturday around 5pm before heading to the Franklin Lantern Lights. Once inside we were greeted then seated in a matter of minutes. The ambiance is casual and chill for the folks wanting that delicious seafood boil. Let's get to the food... We decided to order 2 pounds of shrimp, half pound of mussels and half pound of calamari. We added potatoes and sausages as well to the boil. For the sides let me tell ya GET THE GARLIC NOODLES!!! You're welcome, trust me they are soo good. We also had a side of rice as well cause you know my Hawaiian butt needs rice lol. The seafood was amazing and the sauce is just special. I could dip everything inside of it which I did lol. This place never disappoints for us and we will come more often. If you're are seeking the beast seafood boil then look no further, this is the spot. Trust me.

    burnt shrimp in seafood boil

First time coming and sadly was not impressed all 3 seafood boils had burnt and rubbery shrimp. Was told it gets precooked and put on hot plates. Staff are very sweet but not everyone has the same answers to questions. Manager was accommodating and the place looks very well kept and clean for the amount of mess this food can make.

Been awhile since we hit up the Stoneham location and honestly felt like the first time! Space was open and clean, servers were nice! Probably my favorite location! Everything came out super hot, and felt fresh. We did the combo 2# with a free side (miss the days of free garlic noodles unlimited haha) Got squid and shrimp this time around and was filled by the time we finished! We did the medium Cajun butter house sauce and it had a good kick, more than expected. Felt like plenty of protein, we added sausage as well which was definitely a good call! Also came on the right night for dollar oysters and smashed a dozen quick haha. Will be back when in the area!

Freshest seafood boil you can find in MA!!! Their seafood is always big and juicy and cooked perfectly. However, let me put you on to the funnel fries. If you never tried it you need to go get it NOWWW. Even if you're not into seafood just come here and get the funnel fries because it's the most delectable dessert you can get. I was so surprised at how good it was and now I never leave without it! Service is good and ambiance is casual.

if you're craving flavorful seafood and bold sauces. Everything we ordered was fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The garlic noodles with the fried shrimp platter were amazing -- the shrimp were crispy and well-seasoned, and the noodles were garlicky in the best way. The snow crab legs were juicy and tender, and the sauce they came in was so good I was literally licking my fingers. But the star of the night for me was the fried soft shell crab -- crunchy on the outside, packed with flavor, and easily my favorite bite of the whole meal. To drink, I tried a green coconut drink (wish I caught the name!) and it was so refreshing I wanted five more. It paired perfectly with all the rich seafood flavors. On top of the great food, the staff was super friendly and attentive -- even making sure I had extra tartar sauce, which I really appreciated. The vibe of the place is fun and relaxed, perfect for digging into messy seafood and enjoying yourself. Overall, Captn Loui gave me exactly what I was hoping for: tasty food, finger-licking sauces, and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for more crab legs, noodles, and that unforgettable soft shell crab!

Food was great, I know this is a seafood place but don't sleep on the chicken tenders and lemon pepper fries they're always incredible. Garlic noodles were good if you like Parmesan. Service was the main point of improvement, it took a very long time for our order to be taken, it took a while for our food to come out, our server was a little soft spoken and hard to hear, and my tenders came out without any sauces, but the food was good and the ambiance was casual.

Tonight was the first time trying Cap't Loui in Stoneham! I have always heard amazing things about this location, I believe this is the original location in MA... and many people know it as "Loui Loui". Normally, I go to the one in Braintree as that one is closer, but this one definitely much better! Everything from the staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, and food quality, is unmatched compared to the one in the South Shore. I like that this one is well lit, tables are not at all sticky, and the spicy, is actually spicy. We ordered a 2 lb combo, with 1 lb shrimp w/ head on & 1 lb calamari & a side of garlic noodles. Along with that, since it happened to be Tuesdays, we got a dozen oysters! They do $1 oysters on Tuesdays! Oysters tasted fresh & the shrimp + calamari were great, as well. We had gotten the medium spicy Loui sauce & it a lot spicier than we thought it would be haha. It wasn't too spicy but you definitely will feel the heat. Parking: plenty of parking available here. It's located in a strip mall w/ lots of spots in the lots. Overall, highly recommend if you're looking for a spot w/ great seafood boil!

Update. Food and service is wonderful as usual. Disappointed with management. The last time we had visited, I spoke directly to management and showed them the issue with the handicap stall not being accessible and suggested slight change that is not cost effective (having door swing outward instead of inward to fit a wheelchair and close the door). Business is only ADA compliant to enter the building and be seated. If you need to use the restroom, better hope that the surrounding businesses allow you to use their restroom or you will have to hold it in which is unfortunate.

This is my usual go-to spot for seafood boil. I really like their sauce and they always have the right amount of spice. The crawfish, the mussels, the crabs, the clams, the corns and potatoes have full of flavor. Their garlic noodles and lemon pepper fries are a must. And definitely get their oysters, it's fresh and they usually have a $1 an oyster every Tuesday.

I love it here I come once every three months. The capt loui sauce is the most amazing seafood boil sauce. Get the garlic noodles they taste so good especially dipped in the sauce. The lychee capri sun in my fave also. The place also provides hair ties, extra gloves, variety of lotions, and mouth wash in the bathroom. The music hits sometimes too

Been here couple of times since it's the only decent one. They renovate the restroom which is pretty nice. We came with party of 4 and we got seated right away. The Cajun fries and garlic noodles are the bomb! The catfish was a bit too soft The only thing I don't like is we didn't get all the sauce. Like the orange sauce which she only provide one with party of 4. our server Cindy said that she gave us a lot of sauce already. Yes but the thing is we didn't get the same sauce for all of us. So we ask for more. We know she's a bit annoyed but we don't wanna dip the sauce together and share saliva. If you know what I mean??? Anyway, my brother finished his soda and we want to order more, we have to wave for Cindy to get her attention. After a while we order again with a different server In the end she didn't ask how we are doing or anything. She came in one last time with the bill and again, no where to be found Overall the food was good but the service was kinda lacking especially this server. I wish she can be more attentive and pay more attention. It's early in the day too.

They sell by the half pound or pound with their prices listed on the walls in the restaurant based on their current market prices. The portions felt like a lot for what we ordered as we split about three pounds of seafood between three people and were all stuffed. The mussels were big and shrimp were very fresh and clean. The medium sauce was not too spicy and it also came with a potato and small corn on the cob. I thought their garlic noodles were not as good as I've had at other seafood boils, but they do not skimp on the garlic! The restaurant has a spacious front dining area where you enter from the mall with tables for larger parties and the back area where there are a lot of tables for smaller groups. All tables are lined with paper as you'd expect from a seafood boil restaurant and they use all plastic ware and cups. The service was relatively quick and attentive and they also give you gloves, bib, and a bucket for the shells as you eat. I recommend ordering combos as a group if you are hungry as you get free sides depending on how many pounds you order.

The boil bags came out hot, saucy, and loaded with flavor, and the cajun sauce was the backbone of the whole experience. I started with the shrimp, mussel, and sausage combination, a strong starting point for a first bag. The corn and potatoes that came along for the ride soaked up the sauce well and were worth finishing before I moved on. I added the garlic noodles to my order, and they held up as a side that actually contributed to the meal rather than just filling space on the table. The lemon pepper fries were another solid addition, well seasoned and crispy in a way that made them easy to keep picking at throughout the meal. Snow crab and lobster are on the menu for when you want to push the order into higher territory, and the king crab legs are a standout if you are willing to spend for them. Service was attentive and the staff were patient about walking me through the menu and the process, which made the experience comfortable even though it was my first time doing a seafood boil. A fun, satisfying meal that earns its following.

Inside is designed with bunch of boards with drawings and comments from previous customers. Place was somewhat busy with most seats filled when we got there. We were seated right away and given menu to order. We ordered some seafood boil to share. We got 2lb shrimp, 1lb snow crab, 1lb clam and side of cajun rice and garlic noodle. Food came out within few minutes. Garlic noodle and cajun were decent. The cajun rice was kind of stuck together and not mixed well. Would have liked more ingredients and flavor they used for seafood boil. Seafood boil was pretty good. We got one bug bag with just cajun sauce and 1 shrimp with house sauce. They put a lot more spice on larger bag so they had a lot kore flavor where smaller bag din't have too much flavor and was watered down. Even so overall the seafood was good. Little bit of de shelling and messy but thats usually the case for seafood boil. I like to mix some of the seafood juice onto garlic noodle/cajun rice to add more flavors. Service was good and waitress was very attentive. The place was very cold as it was cold outside and probably not well insulated. It ended up cooling our food while we were rating which was a bummer. Overall it's a solid cajun seafood boil place. But nothing really stood out compared to others that I had. I would recommend if you are around the area and craving for cajun seafood boil but there are better places out there.
