Very fresh seafood and boiled perfectly! Shrimp had a great snap and none were overcooked. The house sauce was delicious. Medium heat was good but would prefer it a bit more spicy so next time I'll get Hot. Chicken wings were so good and fried nicely with a crunchy shell. The owner and staff were attentive and sweet. Would recommend and it was worth the 45 min drive.

We went in late last night and there were only two servers and 1 was also the bartender. It wasn't packed but they had people at the Bar and in the restaurant. My sister ordered the onion rings they were lightly battered but lacked seasoning- my sister loved them! I had the fried scallops and hush puppies OMG the hush puppies were so dayum good! The grandkids had chicken tenders and mussels those both got the 'thumbs up' I don't think my family liked the Garlic Noodles very much, but we live in California and frequently eat a particular kind of garlic noodles there so... All in all I would definitely return. Respectfully Reviewed.

A HIDDEN GEM IN BROCKTON!!! The seafood boil was delicious. I ordered the #4 (Crawfish and snow crab) with 1/2 pound of sausage and "the house" sauce medium spice... It was perfectly seasoned and just enough spice so that your nose isn't running lol. They have complimentary popcorn when you're seated. The music was good! The cocktails were tasty. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return! Check this place out if you're in the area.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted and seated. Within one minute we were given table wear and asked for a drink order. Be forewarned...there is a staff member wearing rock and rolling sunglasses, she is definitely the coolest person in the room! Dont try to outdo her. This place is a Brockton restaurant star! You will be made to feel welcome immediately. Let's talk about the food! The boils are outstanding always. I felt like a fish and chip, instantly could tell the fry oil was fresh and clean. If you want good fried fish and chips then this is the place for you! The fries were perfect and crisp and fluffy interior like it's suppose to be! My fish was cooked perfectly and they gave me an extra tartar sauce as requested. Throughout the meal we were met by nothing but smiles and excellent service. My partner had a shrimp and crab boil with garlic butter. The prices warrant the quality and food haves down. I don't want this place overrun but my GOD is this place is a jewel in Brockton. I'm a huge foodie and owned my own catering biz. This place hits

Well for starters, I like the decor of the restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and comfy. The staff and food is hot and flavorful. My favorite dish is the Catfish dinner. Flaky on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The corn on the cob is just how I like it. Sweet and savory! But that's just one of the dishes I like. All their food is delicious! Their alcohol drinks are mixed perfectly well not too strong not to light, just right. My only thing I would hope for is that one day they would make the seats softer to sit and dine inside. But I will always be loyal to The Boiling Catch! Thank you for your business!

Boiling catch was worth stopping by for lunch. Upon being seated, we were served with popcorn. The popcorn ended with a long piece of hair in it. Other than that l, the food was really good. I had the 1LB snow-crab and added potatoes, corn and sausages to my bag with the house medium sauce ($34.95) along with two lemon drops ($9 each). Hubz had a lemonade ($6), fried catfish ($13.50) and fried lemon pepper wings ($10.95). Our picky eater only wanted corn with butter ($2.00) and lemonade ($6.00). This restaurant is spacious and gives more of a chill vibes. Also the staff were both very friendly.

The Mai tastes mostly like artificial flavoring with cheap alcohol but, that's expected. I got the boil with green mussels, scallops, potatoes and sausage. The scallops were delicious! Order it with the spicy mix, all the flavors combined. It wasn't that spicy and way too much oil/ butter. Could be more flavorful. The place was clean but empty on a Friday night. The service was good in the beginning however, I felt rushed to leave while the place was empty. I also hadn't finished my drink.

Delicious New drink menu to go. Seafood bags are customizable. Just ask. The inside is nice.

Boiling Catch is an absolute treat. We've been repeatedly and always been so happy with our meals and service. The seafood is always cooked perfectly, seasonings are amazing and the prices are great, especially considering the amount of food you get. Fun appetizers- Cajun fries, hush puppies, etc, plus really scrumptious garlic noodles. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Definitely stop in, you'll be so happy you did.

#4. Snow Crab Leg & Crawfish

Outstanding!! I'm so glad I went in. I got the crab legs and crawfish in mild Cajun. It came with corn and a few potatoes (i would get extra next time because the sauce is incredible to mop up with these). Eating here felt a bit primal which was awesome. I really can't wait to go back and try more. Atmosphere was perfect. Netting, and seafood decor on the windows and walls. There is a small bar with TV as well. I also saw a popcorn machine in the corner. They let you write on the walls which is pretty cool. Lots to read! Finally the service was just right. Not overbearing! They just come by to check on your drinks every so often. Very nice staff.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. When we first arrived, we noticed the chefs in the kitchen wearing bonnets, which came across as unprofessional and not what we expected given the reputation of the place. After being seated, we waited nearly 10 minutes without any service and had to flag someone down just to take our order. We ordered oxtails with eggs on cocoa bread with cheese, along with jerk chicken with French toast. When the food came out, the order was incorrect--they brought jerk chicken with waffles instead. My mother-in-law politely explained the mistake to the waitress (a middle-aged woman), but instead of fixing it right away, the waitress began going back and forth with her, insisting that waffles were what we ordered. I stepped in to clarify that we had definitely ordered French toast, but even after that, the situation wasn't handled properly. When the dish came back, it was still wrong, and the waitress had an attitude the entire time. While we were there, we also noticed that other customers didn't seem satisfied. Several plates around us looked barely touched. The man sitting next to us ordered the same oxtails with eggs on cocoa bread and cheese and didn't eat his meal at all before leaving, which raised even more concerns about the food quality. To make matters worse, as we were getting ready to leave, I tried to place a to-go order. At that point, the waitress was still going back and forth with my mother-in-law. She then took our plate and said she wasn't going to deal with this and refused to take our order altogether, which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, the service was rude, the order was mishandled, and the experience did not live up to the expectations set by the reviews. Between the long wait, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, I would not recommend coming here.

For my sides, I got hushpuppies and mac and cheese. The sides were both ok (I think they would've been better if I ate them in the restaurant vs getting them delivered to me). I think the mac and cheese prob could've used more flavor, but I liked the cinnamon butter on the hushpuppies. The 1/2 rack of ribs was sooo tender. They said it was to feed 1, but it was easily enough for me and my mom (with leftovers!). The meat was falling off the bone and was super juicy. Not dry at all. I found the country style atmosphere loud and lively, especially on a busier night when families packed in and the energy in the dining room was hard to miss. It is not a quiet dinner kind of place, but going in knowing that, it fit the experience well. I started with the Blooming Onion, which is a solid opener and holds up as one of the better versions of that dish I have found. It came out hot and the dipping sauce pulled it together well enough that it disappeared faster than expected. The salad was fresh and well portioned as a lighter contrast before the heavier parts of the meal came out. The shrimp and steak were the main event. The steak came out cooked correctly and the meat quality was noticeable, with a tenderness that made it clear the kitchen is paying attention to how things are being prepared. It is the kind of dish that justifies coming back. The shrimp held its own alongside it and rounded out the meal without feeling like an afterthought. Service was warm and attentive throughout. The staff here genuinely seem to enjoy what they are doing, and that came through in how the table was managed from start to finish. One thing worth knowing before going is that wait times can get significant, particularly on weekends, so calling ahead or using the app for seating reservations is strongly recommended. For my entree, I ordered the 16oz sirloin steak (med-rare). For my two sides, I picked mashed potatoes and a salad. My steak was more medium than med-rare and lacking flavor. The "mashed" potatoes had unmashed chunks in them and the salad was made with subpar ingredients. I'm giving two stars for the bread & butter, but can't say I'd recommend anything else here.
