Food drinks and view was good got lunch there and was a seat yourself and order up at the bar type of place and had little to no complaints.

Harbor views, mostly locals and a quality fry shack menu. $2 skin on, grill-split hot dogs? Do it! Lobster roll ($20) is what I'd call "a bit understuffed" but it's fresh as hell and exquisitely balanced - to the purists, it's in mayo, celery and on a lettuce leaf. Toasted hot dog roll and average fries. The still waters of a Mansfield harborside will attract approximately 36,000 gnats, no-see-ums and skeeters, which is why you'll see a few cans of Deep Woods OFF scattered around the deck tables. We waved the white flag and went in to the cozy bar to continue quaffing Bud Lights and hard lemonades (Tito's + fresh squeezed citrus). It's chill, no frills, and full o' Jills. Actually, I think there was only one Jill. Actually, I never caught her name. But she definitely looked like a Jill.

If it was on location alone this is place gets all 5 stars. The location on a nice day is beautiful. There is a bar here as well and the reggae music hits the spot as well. I came for the lobster roll and it underwhelmed. It was small and average tasting at best. Not enough lobster for $20. Although the service was slow the service was very nice. My son loved the fried haddock and the baked shrimp was very good. Worth a try but do not expect much from the food as the view will make everything worth it.

Lobster roll very light on the mayo. Prefect. Fried scallops excellent very lightly breaded and no grease. Washed down with their Homemade Hard Lemonade. Great rustic ambience outdoor dining.

Very good food with dock dining. Excellent experience eating lunch here. You can even get here via boat and dock.

Food was great, the view was nice. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices were good. The jumbo shrimp was crispy, light and delicious. We went back again during our last day of vacation

First time we've made it to opening day (April 1st) and it did not disappoint. They've added a beautiful and innovative pergola style dining area just outside the doorway. The area is heated, has louvered roof slats that can close during inclement weather, and has LED lighting that can be adjusted (color and light level). A wonderful addition and certainly welcome during those sporadic times when showers pass through. Food was fresh and well prepared. Staff was attentive and took great care of everyone. So nice to see so many familiar faces (staff and guests). Looking forward to the 2026 season.

Anyway they always aim to please.. doesn't get any better than that! Thank you to the entire staff!

We ended up here for both a happy hour and lunch, and the food, cocktails, and service exceeded my expectations. The fish and chips rivaled what I had while visiting Seattle. The fish was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter that wasn't greasy at all. During our happy hour, I indulged in the fried oysters, and they were cooked to perfection. You could tell they were fresh and expertly prepared. If you're looking for a great happy hour, lunch, brunch, or dinner, Oysterman is a great choice! They do get busy, and if you are arriving with a large party, plan on reservations. They do have a separate bar area and a patio.

True to their name, they offer fresh local oysters, as well as littleneck clams, shrimp, and of course, locally caught fish. On our first HH visit, I ordered the Duxbury-sourced oysters. They were sweet as sugar and a tad briny, Perfecto. Plus one ordered fried oysters, and they were fried perfectly. Since our golf match was rained out, we stopped by for lunch. My fish tacos were on point. The cod was so tender, and the cole slaw was a perfect accompaniment. Plus one ordered fish and chips, and according to live feedback, they were as good as the ones she had in Seattle. Lightly breaded tender haddock equals 5-stars! She judges all fish and chips by the one she experienced in Seattle! Service is on point, and we rarely, if ever had to flag down our bartenders for refills. They do have a full bar and an interesting (in a good way) wine list. The main bar area does get busy, but there is a satellite bar area and a patio. Sports are king here, and they have multiple TVs, so it's easy to catch a game or catch up on the sports news of the day. ,
