Five star experience with Olivia and BOTH a food-wine experience and a tasting menu perfectly paired with four dishes. Thank you for accommodating this pescatarian. If you go, go hungry. What we had was the perfect lunch. And, it sounds odd... but don't miss visiting the bathroom for some goodies. IFYKYK...

Upon arrival we were greeted by Tess with 4 glasses of a bubbly and a welcome smile. The physical plant is beautiful. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day, near a fire pit (not on) with adjacent tables. The inside was also nice. I loved that the tasting was complimentary and paired with small bites. All three "bites" were delicious and paired well with the 3 wines on the tasting menu. The price point of the wines is a little higher than I expected, but the experience was still 5 stars. Thank you Tess, culinary team, and everyone that makes this experience happen. (There were snacks in the bathroom!)

Caprio is one of our favorite wineries for ambiance and view. Fun tasting with a food pairing included. Service was great, explaining the food and wine. Every bite was delicious and paired well With the wine. The winery dog is friendly. Eleanor is a favorite wine. Loved the white as well. It's worth the stop for this winery.

I've never been to a winery where you ring the attendant to get past the gate, but the exclusive feel opens up to country club- chic. The 2024 White Blend is divine. I don't typically like whites, but the Sauvignon Blanc/Semillion mix is 100% Walla Walla grapes. So goood, I took a bottle home. Hard to imagine gourmet food is prepared in a trailer outside, but it tastes like a master French chef custom made it for you.

Great experience 10/10 would go again. Good food, wine and service. Oh... and a cute dog!

Caprio is our FAVORITE winery in Walla Walla! Set aside a few hours to enjoy the stellar food and wine pairings, amazing friendly staff, and beautiful scenery! We never leave without purchasing multiple bottles and wishing we could eat more of the incredible food! The staff is so kind, allow them to tell you the beautiful stories behind Caprio and their wines. You will not regret stopping here! The chocolates in the bathroom & Roscoe the winery dog are the cherry on tops.

This winery has my heart! You can make reservations online via Tock. Highly recommend making reservations as this place gets busy and time slots are limited and once you get in and experience tasting here, you will see why! Once you get here, you get buzzed in, so fancy! Gorgeous view at this tasting room. We were greeted by Robbie with some sparkling wine and then showed to our table. Tasting room Is SO cute inside. Open layout which so much light. The ambiance here is so welcoming. They have outdoor seating as well. Some spots are covered but we sat inside. We were given 3 choices of wine that came with food pairing. None of wines here disappointed and the food pairing were spot on. They have a food truck that caters food. Robbie throughout our tasting sat with us and chatted, it felt like we were her guest at her home. We had our son with us and she checked up on him and offered non alcoholic beverages.Such a wonderful experience so much warmth and knowledge of good wine. So what now, as we are ready to check out she goes you are all set! We were so confused! Like tasting fee ? Concept of this entire winery is friends are family so that's how they treat you. Yup, no tasting fee here. We did buy bottles of the rosé and red label Cab which was delicious. The entire experience here was amazing. I will be back here for sure and highly recommend this tasting room.

One of the best wineries in Walla Walla! Dennis and his team are the epitome of true hospitality. The flight tasting came with delicious food pairing and it was so much fun to hear the story behind the history of his family (nonna Eleanor) and how that led to winemaking. This is a must visit if you're in Walla Walla. Superb service, loved getting greeted with sparkling wine and Roscoe the winery dog!

Gorgeous salad to pair with a gorgeous Chardonnay.

Absolutely incredible experience!!!! Tess was an amazing hostess. The food pairing experience was beyond my expectation. If you haven't been to Caprio Cellars while in Walla Walla you must.

The Eleanor was my favorite because I thought it drank really well on its own and paired nicely with the food.

A Memorable Visit - Warm Hospitality, Great Wine, and Dog-Friendly!…read more We visited Kinhaven on a Sunday around 2pm and were immediately greeted by Chris, who was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and knowledgeable about the wines and their vineyard sites. He took the time to make us feel welcome, ensuring we were comfortable at our shaded table (it was around 95°F!) and never rushed us through the tasting. He even remembered our names and gave great recommendations for nearby dinner spots to check out after our visit. We brought our Australian Shepherd along, and he was warmly welcomed as well. They also have their own adorable winery dog, Monty (possibly a Shih Tzu?), who was mostly inside but made an appearance toward the end of our tasting. He's a bit cautious with other dogs but very sweet. We sat outside and enjoyed the peaceful setting. We learned Kinhaven also hosts weddings--there had just been one the night before with about 50 guests dining in the orchard. It sounds absolutely picturesque! As for the wines--every single one we tried was impressively good. The $25 per person tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two bottles, which is more than worth it given the quality. Highly recommend visiting--great wine, thoughtful service, and a relaxing, welcoming environment! Exactly what we were looking for!

The location is super…read moreconvenient-- right along the Main Street and close to a bunch of other wineries, so you can make a whole afternoon (or day) of tasting if you like. The wine itself is high quality. There aren't a ton of varietals, but what they do they do right. I enjoyed being able to compare different years of the same wine side by side-- it really helps you see the small differences. The tasting room has excellent ambiance, and for those interested there is a large bear statue that makes for a nice photo op. The woman who poured for us was absolutely lovely and we had a great chat. Would definitely return!

I'd suggest giving this one a try as it not only has delicious wines, it's got a great story and fun experience. If you're a Twin Peaks/Kyle MacLachlan fan, you'll love this place. If you're into bears, you will love this place. Is it weird to say that there is such a thing as tasteful bear decor? I think there is and this place has it! Huge bronze bear statue included.
