    Charcuterie Plate
    Jacques I.

Va Piano Vineyards was a nice stop during our Walla Walla wine weekend. We were able to get a late afternoon reservation, which was nice, as we had a covered, patio seating area for the four of us. This place was pretty popular, so I highly recommend making reservations, if that's not already required. In fact, you should make reservations because we saw that in order to get into Va Piano Vineyards, you must get the access code to open the gates to the entrance. All of us did a flight tasting, which was solid. We also shared a charcuterie plate, a much-needed snack, comprised of cheeses, crackers, meats, pickles, marcona almonds and apricots. Just be careful when you get the charcuterie plate because the resident dog loves to sneak by tables that order food, and he will sneak around anyone to grab a bite, which we witnessed! Love how dog-friendly this place is though. Va Piano Vineyards was a great experience. The outdoor seating area is right next to their vineyards, so definitely try to snag a seat there. But you'll have a good time here with their solid selection of wines (particularly the syrahs), snacks and the winery dog that's here for your food and snuggles!

Nice chill place to sit back and enjoy some wine. My group lounged on couches by the front door and from time to time a couple of dogs would come in asking to play fetch (they actually greeted us as our car pulled in). The wine is decent, but pricey. That they waive the tasting fee with a purchase helps justify the bottle purchase. Pretty picturesque spot that we would might have better appreciated had it not been such a crisp cold day. Nonetheless, it's worth checking out!

This was a stunning winery. The gardens and outdoor patio was beautiful. The wine was wonderful. We bought a few bottles. Very high end.

Wine tasting with wonderful Bailey and Andrew. Thank you for your hospitality guys!

Unequaled hospitality and excellent customers service. Bailey, Andrew - thank you for hosting us as royalties! The winery and the Walla Walla testing room are full of charm, great reds and interesting roses! We fall in love immediately and we will be back!

This is a review for the tasting room in downtown Walla Walla: Bruno's by Va Piano. Their Syrah has made me a red wine convert!

Fifth time visiting and I've had a different experience each time with different groups. The Syrah and Merlot are wonderful, others are okay. Environment is great as you feel like you are drinking at someone's home with a beautiful vineyard view. However, felt like the winemaker was more concerned with introducing himself to other tables around us or tables with private tours and came off stand offish at best when we asked a question. The groups around us were rather pretentious and being a local to Walla I know this isn't the vibe our city gives off. Thumbs down for that. Our server, going to nursing school, was wonderful and very sweet with good customer service. Dog friendly winery. Murphy is great. Overall decent wine, ok service.

Beautiful place with great wines. I did the reserve tasting for $20. There's also a $10 tasting flight.

Good wine and friendly staff, but since this was toward the end of our day it was not super memorable, unfortunately.

I understand that it's a small, family-run business, but receiving multiple confirmations felt excessive and not quite the relaxed vibe one looks for while on vacation. That said, the property itself is gorgeous and the setting is beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We were seated outside, and the service was fantastic. Our sommelier was friendly, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable. She took the time to sit with on the parties and have a personal one on one chat .The wines themselves were excellent ,we even ended up buying a bottle. Overall, it was a lovely visit, but it's probably not a place I would prioritize returning to on a future trip.

The tasting menu included two reds and one white, all of which were excellent. The most surprising part came at the end, when we were ready to pay and the staff informed us that the tasting was complimentary. We were genuinely shocked and grateful, and we ended up purchasing two bottles.

He took the time to make us feel welcome, ensuring we were comfortable at our shaded table (it was around 95°F!) and never rushed us through the tasting. He even remembered our names and gave great recommendations for nearby dinner spots to check out after our visit. We brought our Australian Shepherd along, and he was warmly welcomed as well. They also have their own adorable winery dog, Monty (possibly a Shih Tzu?), who was mostly inside but made an appearance toward the end of our tasting. He's a bit cautious with other dogs but very sweet. We sat outside and enjoyed the peaceful setting. We learned Kinhaven also hosts weddings--there had just been one the night before with about 50 guests dining in the orchard. It sounds absolutely picturesque! As for the wines--every single one we tried was impressively good. The $25 per person tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two bottles, which is more than worth it given the quality. Highly recommend visiting--great wine, thoughtful service, and a relaxing, welcoming environment! Exactly what we were looking for!
