One of the best wineries experiences I've had in WA. When we checked in, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco, which was fresh and very enjoyable. The staff/owner, were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome with her smile The ambience is modern and inviting perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. The restrooms were spotless and stylish, and a thoughtful touch was the dark chocolate in the women's restroom, which was a lovely surprise. I really enjoyed the overall tasting experience. The tasting menu included two reds and one white, all of which were excellent. The most surprising part came at the end, when we were ready to pay and the staff informed us that the tasting was complimentary. We were genuinely shocked and grateful, and we ended up purchasing two bottles. read more

The reservation process itself was easy, but the number of follow-up emails and text messages was a bit overwhelming. I understand that it's a small, family-run business, but receiving multiple confirmations felt excessive and not quite the relaxed vibe one looks for while on vacation. That said, the property itself is gorgeous and the setting is beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We were seated outside, and the service was fantastic. Our sommelier was friendly, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable. She took the time to sit with on the parties and have a personal one on one chat .The wines themselves were excellent ,we even ended up buying a bottle. Caprio had been on my bookmark list for some time and I finally paid a visit this week! I was in town for a work project, which usually takes me past 5pm, so that means I usually can't make a visit as they close at 5pm. However, this week the moon and the stars aligned and I wasn't needed past 2:30. I promptly called and got a spot for 3:30. :) I do have to admit I got lost finding this place, and I was worried that when I came up to the gate it was closed or the wrong address. But low and behold, Robbie opened up for me. I was promplty greeted at my car by Kismet, Robbie's dog. I already felt at home! There's plenty of seating inside and outside and as you can deduce, they are dog friendly - a huge bonus in my opnion!!! Robbie greeted me with sparkling champagne. The tastings included food pairings, which were all divine, Nona Eleanor meatballs were definitely the highlight of the food parings! I did end up buying a bottle of the 2022 Red Label Cab Sauv, but now that I'm writing this up I whould have bought some more. :/ Quite frankly, the hospitality that Robbie provided was exceptional! Upon arrival we were greeted by Tess with 4 glasses of a bubbly and a welcome smile. The physical plant is beautiful. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day, near a fire pit (not on) with adjacent tables. The inside was also nice. I loved that the tasting was complimentary and paired with small bites. All three "bites" were delicious and paired well with the 3 wines on the tasting menu. The price point of the wines is a little higher than I expected, but the experience was still 5 stars. I've never been to a winery where you ring the attendant to get past the gate, but the exclusive feel opens up to country club- chic. The 2024 White Blend is divine. I don't typically like whites, but the Sauvignon Blanc/Semillion mix is 100% Walla Walla grapes. So goood, I took a bottle home. We just had a great experience at Caprio Cellars in Walla Walla! We did the VIP lunch and wine pairing and the entire staff provided a great experience on every level. The wine tasting venue is situated on a beautiful property just 4 miles south of downtown Walla Walla. The grounds are beautiful as is the open and airy tasting room. Tara greeted us and guided us through a four-course lunch that was perfectly paired with their wines. We were also greeted by Kismet, the winery's four-legged canine ambassador who was very friendly. Angel and Jack expertly adapted their tasting menu for our vegetarian preferences and delivered a mouthwatering experience. Olivia's pots de crème with strawberry coulis delivered the final round of a truly special culinary experience. And each course was paired with equally special estate wines. It is a no brainer to give this place a solid 5 stars. This is one of the very very few wineries (or even boldly I can say "the only" one) that gives free wine tasting AND food! The food is not just cheese and crackers - they are actually plates curated by a chef served in small plates. For that day, we had marinated watermelon, panzanella verde, and hoisin duck salad, paired with rose, white blend, and cabernet sauvignon, respectively. This place is fairly casual so this is about a 1.5 hours experience, and the server is very friendly and attentive and loves to make small talk while we are introduced to each course. The service was attentive and friendly, and our server was well-versed in the wines he was serving and not pretentious in anyway in his presentation. The wines themselves are well crafted, and because Wine is such a subjective taste, I can't say it's the best I ever had, but it is among them.
