My wife and I were in love with this location for our event but the piss poor management of this lady has completely soured our view of this place and we never intend on coming back. I hope you guys are proud to lose a 300+ person event because of this lady and her inability to communicate or have a good attitude. read more

TAKE THE ATV TOUR!! Tranche is in a gorgeous location on the outskirts of Walla Walla in rolling hills and surrounded by 200 acres of vineyards. If (no, when!) you visit, you'll be met in their swank and hip tasting room by smiling and happy employees that give you a glass of excellent Rose' and then tour you through their impressive and modern production facility as you make your way to the 6 seat ATV. Next, you'll be expertly (and gently) driven through the acres of vineyards, making several stops to sample the white and red wines in the exact locations the grapes that they were made from originated. All while taking in the spectacular scenery in 360 degrees. And then back to the tasting room to revisit any wines that took your fancy in the open air. Gotta say you folks never disappoint. Over on business and dropped in for a bottle and to sit a while, last Friday. Music started playing and I was was intrigued, world class player-singer for sure. Went here with a group of 10 people, we did a tasting of the 2018 Chardonnay, 2019 Pape, 2019 Syrah, and the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon. All of the tasting were pretty amazing, the guy that served us educated us pretty well. We left knowing more about wine than ever. We ended up buying a case. This place is not very close to down town. But it's well worth the drive. The landscape is beautiful. On a nice day the outdoor seating lets you take it all in. There are places to have wine away from the crowds or you can hang back and have a tasting. We saw a couple buy a bottle and enjoy a little picnic on the grass. It was an ideal spot. The wine and the service is also fantastic. It was hot and sunny so we bought a bottle of the rose but the reds were also excellent. read more

A must visit if you're in Walla Walla. We had a glass of their red at dinner on our first night and decided to add them to our tasting stops. Beautiful vineyard outside of town. We did a tasting flight (personable/knowledgeable young college students were manning the tasting room) and then got glasses to share as we sat on a covered patio area and wandered the vines closed to the building. We left with a few bottles and will definitely be back on our next trip. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to sit and enjoy the wine and atmosphere! read more

I would just say go there and you won't be disappointed, but yelp says the people like an elaborate review, so here's the deets: You have to drive a little bit away from downtown Walla Walla, but it's really like 10min max. You drive up on the vineyard like a scene out of wine heaven. Very Napa-like in aesthetics, but definitely Washington in attitude. Meaning they're super cool. You get to see the blue mountain grapes as they grow before you try the wine. The tastings they offer vary depending on season and you don't necessarily have to have a reservation. You can also buy a bottle and have a little wine picnic out in the vineyard near the sheep, with the shade of some really great trees and a picturesque background. I've always loved Tranche wines, but I'm now even more obsessed since I saw how beautiful the vineyard and tasting room was! read more

This was our first stop of our wine-tasting weekend. We paid for a flight and got: 2014 Chardonnay 2013 Cab Franc 2013 Cab Sauv 2013 Syrah Bonus barrel wine, not to be released until end of 2019. I enjoyed all the wines and did not actually have a favorite. I am not a wine snob, so my pallet is not refined enough to say that any were better than the others, because I thoroughly enjoyed them all. The grounds and landscaping is absolutely beautiful, so we took quite a few group photos outside. I also loved the architecture and the old school Hollywood prints in the tasting room. Bar far, this was one of the lovelier vineyards in the area. And I am a snob about that so that is not a stretch. read more

We two stopped by on a weekday during COVID-19 Phase 2 restrictions. Reservations were required. WINE: 3.0. We didn't purchase a bottle to take home, which is unusual for us. AMBIANCE: 3.5. We were on the covered outside patio. Though bearable, the ventilation equipment was nearby and slightly noisy, making the low-volume music almost irrelevant. There is a stage located below the patio for performances, and a shaded area with picnic tables further down. The tasting area lies among vineyards, which was nice. The signs inside the vineyard directing one to the tasting room are difficult to read, as they are basically small dark words etched into weathered dark wood; easy to miss, and one must look closely to see the small direction arrows. SERVICE: 3.0. Sincere young man who appeared to have an interest in wine-making. read more

My husband and I came in yesterday, Friday, and I suppose just missed the tasting menu. We got there before the rush luckily, because at 6 live music begins. We decided to get a bottle of white wine, the roses were sold out that I wanted to try. The vineyard and setting was spectacular and the live music a surprise, but the type of music was not what I would want at a vineyard it was a cover band and did hits of rock and roll new music. Our group stopped here on a wine trip to Walla Walla. I definitely recommend this spot. The views are awesome. We were all able to sit outside around the fire pit and the whole tasting was very relaxed. Our driver also went and got sandwiches while we were tasting which we were able to enjoy on the patio. I liked all of the wines but I really liked the Cab France and the Pape. A lot of people in our group enjoyed the pink pape. Everyone here was very friendly and it was a warm and welcoming winery. read more

The tasting was a little expensive given only five tastings, but the outdoor space was expansive, comfortable, and dog friendly (which is #2 for us, next to the wine!). Researching our first visit to the Walla Walla area, we had noticed this was one of the top 5 wineries to visit in the northwest. I'm not sure why no one has reviewed this winery but we had a good experience and purchased some good wine. The sister winery to Corliss Estates, Tranche was extremely busy with production while we were there. They also had three different construction projects ongoing: 1) double production capacity; 2) build a formal tasting room; 3) build an Arbor on a hill overlooking the entire winery for special events/picnics. Foregoing all the future driven activity, it still comes dow to the wine; and the wine was good. I recommend adding this location to your visit list. read more
