This is a cute little spot. The wine was great. Good variety. They server was great. She commanded the room and made sure everyone was getting wine even though there was only one of her and many customers. She was well rounded in her wine knowledge. She didn't just pour and move on to the next, she gave us a little intro to the wine and answered any questions. It is a solid a

I visited this winery with my traveling companions during my trip to Walla Walla. The visit to this winery was partly business for one of my traveling companions. We met with the owner/winemaker Tom and his business partner Kent here. We had lunch and afterwards toured the facility and had barrel and current release tasting. NOTE: This visit was under special circumstances, the winery does not provide food service. The winery and grounds were adorable and quaint. It has such an inviting feel! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the winery dogs. I believe there were four of them. They roam around inside the tasting room and outside unleashed so if your dog does not play well with others, you may not want to bring them here. We visited four wineries/tasting rooms during this trip and Balboa was the highlight of the trip. I really enjoyed the meal Tom prepared and the wines he chose to pair with. The tour of the facility and the barrel/current release tasting was truly an amazing experience. If I were ever in Walla Walla again, this would be the place I'd visit for wine. Thank you, Balboa Winery, for making tasty wines!

Looked for a wine tasting but couldn't my original place. Balboa was open & such a delight. Tasting went well & our wine steward, Meredith, was informative. My two favs were #1 Carmenere, very tasty & #2 Syrah. Pleasant surprise & I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Awesome visit! Tom was extremely friendly - we were immediately greeted like old friends....and the wines were tremendous! Wow! Some of the best wines I've had in the area. Tasting room and facilities are super nice. Will definitely be back!!! Thanks for the super warm welcome and great experience!

Brittany was kind enough to take a picture of us in front of the vines!

Went into our Walla Walla trip totally inexperienced with wine tastings, but Brittany was kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Since my boyfriend was driving she let us share tastes. I don't normally enjoy blends but both the red and white Miths (named for owners Mike and Tom) were bomb! We ended up settling on the Destiny wine, originally crafted for the team at Bungie. It's great stuff, and even though it wasn't on the tasting menu Brittany opened a bottle for us to sample-- then sold us one she hadn't opened! If that's not great service, I don't know what is.

Her warmth and expertise made us feel truly valued and welcomed. The winery is nestled in a stunning location, exuding old-world charm that adds to the overall experience. The wines from Pepper Bridge were a perfect finale to a wonderful day of tasting. While I've visited another Pepper Bridge location in the past, this visit felt especially elevated, thanks to Katie's outstanding hospitality. Katie, if you ever read this review --please know that we would return to Pepper Bridge time and again because of the genuine and memorable experience you created for us.

The view are stunning and so are the tables and the design. We were greeted with some delicious Sav blanc while we waited for Andrea to begin our tour. Andrea was so lovely and told us all about the unique aspects of pepper bridge that set them apart, including a really cool machine that their owner developed! It was unlike any of the previous tours we'd been on. We then went to the library for a private wine and food tasting which was absolutely remarkable. The library is STUNNING! I am gluten free and pescatarian so for my pairings, I had celery salad, fried rice, and deviled eggs. They were all amazing and the portions were generous. We got to pair them with their amazing wines and it was truly delightful. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Sue and Doug took Great care of us when we visited one Saturday afternoon…read more We got lucky and were the only ones in the tasting room for a short while. The tasting room is inside the cutest little log cabin! Note, it is quite small, and I think holds max 10 tasters comfortably. We tasted a number of lovely wines. And were quite taken by their Dolcetto and Tempranillo. Dolcetto is not a widely grown Italian varietal like Sangiovese.... it's a lesser known one that truly can shine on its own. I wish more places would grow and bottle Dolcetto. Zerba's Dolcetto is Rich yet Soft at the same time. I know... that doesn't make sense. It just hits your palate and you sigh.... and just want to take another sip and then another and then another. You get the gist. Their Tempranillo is another wine that hit me just right. Completely different from Dolcetto of course. There's no comparison. Both are Fantastic but for very different reasons. The Tempranillo has savory notes with noticeable tannins and acidity, and IMO definitely needs food. Doug invited us to take a peek inside their cave since we asked about the small walkway we saw that goes into the side of the hill. So, we got a look at the cave and the space. They were in the process of taking out their holiday decorations and getting ready to set up for a special event. If you're a club member, I could see how fun this would be! Lucky Folks! Zerba is super easy to find, right off the main highway. Highly recommend swinging by to taste some wine and pick up a bottle or 2 on your way to dinner or home or wherever.

I understand that it's a small, family-run business, but receiving multiple confirmations felt excessive and not quite the relaxed vibe one looks for while on vacation. That said, the property itself is gorgeous and the setting is beautiful both indoors and outdoors. We were seated outside, and the service was fantastic. Our sommelier was friendly, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable. She took the time to sit with on the parties and have a personal one on one chat .The wines themselves were excellent ,we even ended up buying a bottle. Overall, it was a lovely visit, but it's probably not a place I would prioritize returning to on a future trip.
