With the heart of Lincoln Square closed off to car traffic, I decided to go enjoy the open space on a beautiful day and have a quick bite to eat! The sandwich bread was soft and delicious, but the winner for me was the cheese inside. Capriccio is a pretty solid lunch spot if you're in the area. The employees are friendly and the food comes out quick.

Grabbed pizza to go since we had our dog with us. When you step inside it's like stepping into an Italian cafe. Great selection of food and beverages. Reasonably priced. We will be back The pizza was delicious and lived up to the hype. The sauce has an excellent flavor

My first trip here did not disappoint! The pizzas were fresh and delicious! I wanted to try them all, but I decided on two: the Professore and Patate & Salsiccia. I can't sit to come back and try other slices!

Not what I hoped for, but good. The location and the space is great. The bread and crust on the sandwiches and slices is amazing. But I'm kind of underwhelmed? All the grand opening pics and vids got me excited. The two times I have been here there has not been a huge selection of slices, and they seem to go real light on the toppings. It's all fresh and high quality, but for $7-8 a slice, at least have some cheese on em? Slightly undercooked too? Dunno. Might be that the place is new. I hope the quality jumps as the place and staff settles in.

I'm not sure what magic they do to get this crust so perfect, but it's the right mix of crunchy and chewy for me, who sort of hates both Chicago-style thin crust and deep dish. Also the funghi is my go-to because mushrooms on pizza, truffle oil, and burrata are a few of my favorite things! There can be a little bit of wait but maybe they will invest in an extra oven or two as they grow. Their namesake Capriccio pizza was good, though I was a little surprised because I'm used to a couple other places that have a prosciutto and arugula pizza with a white sauce, and the red sauce was new in this combo for me. Can I tell you how happy I am to find a place in the neighborhood to get coffee and do a bit of work on my computer after 5pm?! Their iced Americanos are *strong* (one size, with 4 shots....and shout out to the staff who informed me of this so I could consume accordingly without staying up all night) and not watered down, which is also welcome and sadly hard to find in the area. This place is a new staple for me so I'm surprised to see mixed reviews...or why someone wouldn't expect that pizza by the slice would be "reheated". I have always seen that as standard so they come out hot and crispy. I hope this place gets the warm reception they deserve.

Excited to have a new and different type of pizza place in Lincoln Square. They recently opened and it was nice to see a lot of interest and people there to welcome them. There are tables, couches and window seating available. The space is great for people watching. Given it is new, still working out some of the flow. I was able to snag a funghi slice and the last pepperoni. Both were larger sized slices and I fear that I over-ordered. Despite the thickness, the crust of the funghi slice was light, crispy, and airy. The pepperoni came with a healthy amount of cheese for a mozzarella pull. Excited to try this spot for their coffee and breakfast menu.

I like this place! It's a unique Italian sandwich/pizza cafe and definitely worth a try. I was walking by and I didn't know they sold pizza by the slice, so I got some to go! I wish the slices were a bit bigger and it's a bit expensive for the portions but the flavor is good. You need at least 2 slices for a small/medium sized meal. I will need to try a sandwich next time. The bread and the pizza was good and the ingredients felt fresh and high quality. Even the prosciutto they used was delicious and seemed fresh cut. It's definitely unique and a great addition to the neighborhood. The menu is small which I appreciate. I will definitely come again to try their coffee and sandwiches.

    So many toppings!

I doubt anyone leaves feeling less jolly than they did going in. On this visit, I started with the After Word to drink. It was light-bodied, not at all too sweet, and possibly went down *too* easily. We split the short rib poutine and I can't think of a better dish to get you through the winter. The meat absolutely melted in the mouth and the cheese was abundant and rich. Would order again in a heartbeat! We also tried the alligator bites as a seasonal special. I'd not had alligator before, but they were super crispy and spicy with an addictive gochujang sauce. It really does taste like chicken. If you've ever wanted to try alligator, this is the place to do it. For the main event, I opted for the red beans and rice hand pie. It came with a light, citrus salad and delicious hand cut fries with 3 dipping sauces, which were very fun to try. I loved the buttery pie crust but the filling tasty very tomato forward- I was missing the heat of a traditional red beans & rice and wished there was more seasoning. Still good. As usual, the portions were generous for the price and we left with leftovers. Absolutely recommend making the trek over here to give B&B a try, and will be back soon!

Then I forget for a few months, find another $20, end up stumbling across this place again and going "why don't I come here more?" This has happened three times. The most important part though- it's real tasty. Always. I'd say all of it, but I'm still working my way through the menu, but the burgers and Mac never let me down. The servers are always really laid back, and nothing feels rushed. I think it's part of the charm; somewhere to go and relax and take your time to enjoy the vibe. And you know what would help the vibe even more? Including the bread pudding on the menu full time. Keeping that bad boy stocked for me at all times. (This time was my first time seeing it on the specials menu and listen, it WAS special. So special that you should upgrade it to mainstay is all.)
