Capri has been a staple in the Boonville community for years. That being said, the quality seems to have changed over time. They used to offer homemade chips as a side, they've since done away with those, replacing them with tiny bags of Lay's chips. The consistency is the biggest issue. It's a gamble whether or not you're pizza will have enough sauce on it to taste, if you're wings will be swimming in grease or actually crispy and tossed in sauce properly. I've been eating Capri pizza since I took dance lessons upstairs as a young girl. I loved it then, I love it now. I place an order weekly. I order the strangest combination of ingredients in my calzones and even my antipasto salad. Hey, "I like it how I like it!" They always accommodate. I miss not seeing Sal around. Really good pizza. As close as I have had to traditional here. The sauce is not too sweet and you do not need extra cheese on the pizza. They offer dinners which I have not tried yet. The crust is really good as well and they are friendly. read more

Prices are too high . And I get grossed out when I see the workers handling the food with no gloves after touching money and the cash register and they itch their head or touch their clothes and other stuff then don't wash their hands and touch pizza and toppings with no gloves and dirty hands that's nasty . I hadn't eaten here in years and during our visit I was excited to introduce my kids to "real New York pizza"! But it was a bit disappointing to be honest. We had ordered two flavor pizzas and one was so bland it was shocking. Chicken wing pizza shouldn't taste better in North Carolina but compared to the one we had here...it does. There was virtually no sauce or flavor whatsoever ever. The pepperoni had a good sauce flavor but was really sort of reminiscent of grade school pizza days. The antipasto salad looked great like it always has been. I didn't get to try any this trip. And the garlic butter on the garlic bread was quite yummy but they maybe should slice the garlic bread so the flavor soaks in some and doesn't just roll off the bread. Seemed a waste of the delicious sauce. Ps...we have always loved their calzones but didn't get to try any this visit. I would totally recommend those in hopes they are still as good as years past. :) read more

BEST regular and GLUTEN FREE cauliflower pizza I've ever had. They made from scratch the gluten free and the cauliflower pizza dough. It did not taste like cardboard nor soggy. It tasted like regular pizza. My boyfriend is not gluten free but he liked the cauliflower pizza just as much as regular pizza! GREAT JOB CAPRI!! Also, the hot wings are so fucking good! Capri has gone downhill over the years. The pizza here used to be so good but now it is a hit or miss. When it does taste good, there is not enough cheese, and the pizza is significantly doughy. Their barbecue sauce is the bomb so that is a positive. When the pizza is good it is great, and it makes me want more. I love the Chicken Wing pizza, which is my favorite. Unfortunately, Capri is not consistent with their food and the prices for their menu items are always going up with portions being decreased often. They got rid of their beloved garlic bread sticks and replaced them with tasteless soggy, overly garlic buttered "homemade" garlic bread. As for the other items on the menu they do not taste as good as they used too either. However, the online ordering system that Capri has in place is convenient at the least. They deliver to you at a reasonable cost but feel it is ok to charge you for a "convenience fee" on top of the delivery charge. You should know that Capri does not discipline individuals when they commit crimes or mistreat customers. They let one individual that they had employed keep his job after he assaulted a local police officer and had been convicted of such. There was unmistakable evidence of this incident even before the gentleman's court date. Capri hires employees that have a criminal background and do drugs that often impair ones' professionalism and friendliness at the least and overall, it makes me concerned that one day maybe when I order from there, I will be having someone that is of danger coming to my doorstep who could harm me or my family. Not all people are bad, and one cannot assume that everyone they hire has a criminal background or does drugs as some that do can still maintain their professionalism and friendliness. With all that being said, I will say if they make a mistake with the food, they will not charge you for it and will give you a two-liter soda on the house. read more

Ordered a calzone with double hot sausage and double mushrooms. If that was a double portion I would not like to see a single amount. The bread was good. I have been there before and it seems to be a hit and miss. read more

When I left New York, I did nothing but crave Capris pizza, there is no other pizza like it! The owner and employees always have a smile and very respectful towards their customers, and since I can remember when I was a kid up until now there has been no complaints of this amazing jewel in the heart of boonville, if there was more stars I would definitely hit them all! We have been going to Capri for over 20 years and cannot say enough good things about the Salamone family restaurant. Our children stop for a slice before they come to our house. Sal Rosa and their sons never fail to serve a great meal. The restaurant is very clean. read more

Great food. I went in recently and had the stuffed shells, which were very tasty. The meal came with some garlic bread sticks, which were absolutely delicious, and a nice side salad that included tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers.
