March, 2022 We recently learned about Capper's from a friend in Eugene. Although we live in Seattle we decided to bring down some prints to be framed based upon her recommendations. We also forwarded a photo via UPS that we had won in an auction to Brian for framing. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Brian worked with us to select the appropriate frame and matte. As almost anyone who has visited my apartment can tell you, I may have a problem--with ordering and framing prints, that is. I have far more art than I have walls to contain it all, so I fancy myself as something of a connoisseur of frame shops. This time, however, I wasn't framing a print: I had a memento from the TEDxUOregon conference (a lanyard with my name tag and a little program booklet), and I fancied getting them assembled together into a little shadowbox. Being relatively new to Eugene and not having used a frame store in town before, I checked out Yelp, saw their perfect five-star rating, and decided that I must employ their services. I've purchased a lovely original painting from this company and was impressed with both the knowledge of the staff, and the pricing of the piece. They carry some local art, some art that you would buy in the lobby of a hotel where they call it "a fine art sale" as well as copies of famous pieces. The staff is friendly and knowledable. They didn't look down upon me when I was honest and told them a $2,000 piece was at the time, out of my price range. I brought in a slew of prints, some with minor damage from storage, some with damaged frames and some fresh ones ready to frame.
