This company had every other beat in terms of price and service by a landslide. First, their prices are significantly lower than the competition as they have their own gas fitters and electricians. Most other companies contract out this work which adds a lot to the cost. They also have a beautiful showroom where you can see fireplaces before buying. Second, the service was unparalleled. Every single step was carefully explained and communicated. The technicians were on time, pleasant, careful, clean and skilled. It simply could not have been a better experience. This is a company that provides old-fashioned standards of excellence at incomparable prices. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to do business with them. I consider it a tremendous stroke of luck that I had the good fortune to find and work with them. I think you will, too.

The problem is not our pilot or gas, it's the solenoid gas valve part that Chimney.com installed. (A master plumber has identified the issue 100%, but doesn't do gas repairs.) Since the whole device is controlled by remote, we know we did not break it--we never touched it ever, but the like-new fireplace did not come on this year. We were charged full price for the unit, which should have lasted for many years. Now Chimney.com is now wanting another $300 just two years later to repair. Paid a lot for a new unit. Chimney.com they says they are not responsible for quality of their products and will charge for labour to "evaluate" the issue. They act very folksy/ocal--until there's a problem, then they cut you loose. Be forewarned that you need to be lucky because they don't stand by their products sold. This feels scammy.

The High's technician did not inspect the fire box or damper. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. And clearly had some type bias. We found it astonishing that the company invoiced us for $285.00 covering the 10 minute inspection. On March 20, 2026, we had our chimney and fireplace inspected and cleaned by a top rated DMV chimney service. The new company spent 2.5 hrs at our home and informed us that they needed to clean the flu First in order for them to make a professional assessment. And did not see any need to issue any refrain from use order upon completion of the services rendered, as was done by the High's Chimney technician. Imagine a company conducting a ten minute inspection and then stating we needed over $15k in Chimney repairs. Our legal counsel will file formal complaints with all relevant regulatory agencies.

The crew was respectful of our home and left everything clean. The repair looks great and has performed flawlessly. A special thank you to Peter F, who came back out without hesitation when I had a concern. It turned out I was simply using something incorrectly, but he patiently showed me the right way and was extremely professional throughout. That level of responsiveness and customer care is rare. We're already planning to use them again to install another product to improve heat distribution. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chimney Masters.

The representative, Peter, charged me a very high price for the work, promising that several items would be replaced and that I would receive pictures of the repairs since I cannot access the roof myself. None of that was done. My chimney is still leaking. Peter also promised to return to inspect the work, but he never showed up or even called--I had to reach out to them myself. On top of that, I was asked to sign paperwork on a laptop without being given a proper chance to review it, which I regret. Overall, the job was not completed as promised, communication was poor, and I was overcharged for work that did not fix the problem. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Master Chimney.

The installation was super professional. The team that came to the house put plastic around the job site (floor to ceiling), ensured that I understood what was happening at each step and the end result was amazing! Prior owners never had chimney cleaned or inspected. Met with Vince and upon inspection of chimney and the thimble connection access that was blocked off by cinder block wall recommend a demo of the wall and a stainless steel liner, and was given a quote. Got a couple more quotes in the spring and went with ChimneyTEK because of the inspection QUALITY and pricing of the quote. The demo work needed on the thimble connection threw off all quotes and given estimates from others that were pricey (sub out demo work) or poorly estimated (unnecessary add ins not needed). I called Vince SEVERAL times to discuss and go over the quote/work (not familiar with work involved and wanted to understand the what and why) each time Vince answered my questions and definitely had a better handle on the job (no subs) had experience on my thimble issue. Crew did a GREAT job, the demo work went better than I imagined. The stainless steel liner was really needed based upon seeing how blocked the thimble was 60-65% and all the soot removed from the chimney prior to installing the liner. This job was a learning experience for me and the job went a lot smoother than I anticipated (did not know what to expect). Proof of insurance also provided before job started. GREAT JOB! Highly recommended this company A+++

The office is only 45 min from my house, so don't know what's up with that. Next the 2 techs showed up and cleaned 1 chimney and we're here about 1.5 hours. Then they told me they were deeming my chimney unfit for use and gave me an estimate for a new liner at 7k. the sighted several issues. The first the there was to much creosote, and looking at the pictures i remember thinking , if they had worked a little longer they could have done a better job. Then they said my fire box needed to be re-shaped or it would cause smoke to come into my house. All the years i've lived here, i've had raging fires all winter long and not once had smoke coming into my house. The tech also noticed where i repaired some of the mortar in the fireplace and said 'whoever did that used the wrong mortar and it would have to be re-done'. Little did he know I did and used fireplace morter that i purchased at a fireplace/chimney store (still have the can it came in) In conclusion it felt like I was at a car dealership and these guys work on commission. I only used them because the regular chimney service I use every year to clean my chimney was unavailable this week and I needed it done because i'm going out of state for awile. I will not be using Chimneytek's service ever again.
