The store selection was good, but the checkout experience was terrible. There was only one very young girl working the register. When I put my items on the counter, she just stood there staring at me without scanning anything. I had to explicitly tell her, 'Ma'am, I'm ready to be served. You can start scanning my stuff.' She began scanning quietly, but when she finished, she just piled all my items on top of each other. I had to ask her twice for a bag because she ignored me the first time. When she finally grabbed one, she threw my things into the bag in a very messy, careless way and handed it to me. No 'hello,' no 'goodbye,' no 'thank you for shopping,' and no 'have a great day.' Nothing. I walked out feeling very bitter about how I was treated. Good products, but the customer service at the front needs major improvement." Cashier's name was Emilets.

My feet started hurting so I knew I needed some new shoes. I was here just a few weeks ago buying new Hokas for my everyday wear as my husband said I needed new shoes as they were 3 years old. I didn't think I needed new ones, but then I looked down at them and they were actually starting to fall apart. I took his advice and looked online and picked out a few pairs I liked and had them shipped to the store. When they arrived I picked them up and tried them on in the shoe section. To my dismay they didn't fit quite right. I was so sad as they were the perfect color. They were all Hoka shoes, but different styles. I went back to my go to and a exact replacement of my current Hoka, the Clifton. I had the 9 and now they have the 11 so I tried them on and they fit, but didn't have the color I wanted. So I proceeded to try on other brands of shoes that I liked the color better. They didn't feel as good as the Cliftons so I went back to the Cliftons and looked again at the color selection. I settled on the Lavender ones. Three days later I was onto Seattle with my new shoes. We walked 11 miles in 2 days and my feet were happy. I'm so glad I got the new shoes. They were much more cushy then my 3 years old Hokas. Back to today's experience. I only wear my hoka work out shoes for working out. They don't leave the house and they were purchased 3 years ago when I had planter fasciitis. It appears that over the years they had lost there fluff to so it was time to buy new ones. When we arrived in the shoe department we were met instantly by a friendly face. The same associate that helped me last time. He showed me to the Hoka collection they had. I didn't like any of the color choices. I had the best of them already and wanted something different. He said he may have another color in back that just arrived. He went back and poked around and pulled them out and brought them out. I looked at them and knew they were the ones. They are part of their GLM special edition line. The G is for Glimmer. Oh, are they spectacular. They are a shimmering pink and lavender. I couldn't have asked for something more. I bought them and tried them out at home the next day on the treadmill and boy did they make a different. It's looking like I need to change my shoes very 3 years or less. I'm so glad he brought out these new shoes. I love their new line. I was really worried that I would have to wear some ill colored shoes for the next 3 years. Thank you guy in the shoe department. You're my guy. I wish I recalled your name.

The person on the phone was polite and articulate to answer what I needed. The person even remembered me when I came in the store. Very rare to get this type of service. I am assuming the bad reviews are people who were educated and felt horrified about their lack of knowledge. Gun culture is an educated culture, be prepared to learn or abide by the safety standards and rules that adhere to them. Inside the store was clean and spacious areas. The department I needed was the firearms section, which was at the far end of the shop. That being said they have a wide collection of what I say good ammo that you can rely on for self-defense. What I can also say is that they do not gouge you on prices. The prices are well within reason, and they are updated ammunition. By updated I mean that they have different casings for those who know that grains and bullet type matter. That being said, getting plinking ammunition is a good to go here. You can trust the brands they have in stock and the staff for the firearms department is knowledgeable and friendly. Keep in mind the long wait is due to either education, or the long lengthy checks to get said items. That being said, pay your taxes, pay your registration fees, do your due diligence and you're out and about easy. I may bring in my gun to get checked by their smith. But TBH American Made Baretta 9mm FS is the far superior choice than the mass produced m9 and Italian made one. I don't think I need a service on my weapon in quite some time. Do your research, some things made in America, is better and not well advertised. This goes for the ammunition as well. To the dude who helped me. Thank you, man. Thank you for your service as well. Could have been smaller but the smallest they had to offer that was brand new. Told the sales guy I'd be back after thinking about it. I came back about an hour later. Stood around in the store for a good 15 minutes before 2 guys that work there asked if I needed help. I told them I'm interested in getting that cargo box and asked if they could mount it for me which he said yes. OK, so they gave me the dusty floor model that had a scuff mark and spider web with spider in it. Didn't bother to at least dust it off and remove the spider if they're too lazy to get me a new in box one. Anywaus so i had to remove the cargo box, kill the spider and remount the cargo box. Smh. If you don't see the equipment in the shop, ask them because possibly they have it in the stockroom in the back or can order it. The staff realize that it is a major purchase and don't pressure folks. They actually encourage folks to test out the equipment. Even though hubs and I have been customers for over 15 years, we tend to take our time making a decision and go back to the shop often to look and test equipment. One thing that always makes me laugh is there seems to be some kind of police activity going on here pretty often. Nothing crazy today though -- it looked like someone was buying an absolute boatload of shoes, so I'm assuming the situation was simply "too many sneakers, not enough boxes." The service has generally been good whenever I've stopped in, and I completely understand that being a discount store means inventory is going to be hit or miss. But if I could ask for one thing, it would be more variety in the kids' section, especially for boys. With school season here, I've been checking in pretty regularly, and it seems like the little guys don't always get the same selection. I can usually find something, but I'd love to see more sizes, styles, and options for the boys. Other than that, it's a solid Nike outlet. Good location, good service, and you never really know what deal you're going to find when you walk through the doors. That's half the fun of shopping at a discount store anyway! I love Nike, so obviously I'll be back -- just hoping the next visit has some deals for the little guys!
