We hired Capitol Billiards to assemble our Gold Crown pool table. Here's what happened: - While trying to install the top of the table, they tried to force it and kept cracking the plastic covering that covers the ball returns. - When they left, the ball returns did not work. - They came back the next weekend to fix the ball returns. When they left, the ball returns STILL didn't work. Balls literally drop onto the ground when we play. - In their carelessness with the table parts, they left two large scratches in our beautiful hardwood floor. We don't trust them to finish the job, so with $250 down the drain, we will need to hire another billiard company to come fix our table. Really disappointing. read more

Capitol Billiard moved a Pool Table for me today 4/18/20. ANTHONY & JOHNNY were professional, friendly, fast and the job was done right. These guys are pros and the price was fair. Two other movers quoted me $760 and $839 for the same job, don't call they guys on CL. Anthony and Johnny, picked the table up from the private party and then arrived at my place exactly when they said they would. They also made sure the table was perfectly centered on the antique rug, moving it 3 times, the last time just 1 inch. The color of felt I chose was too bright and they both said the felt on the table was still in excellent shape and the color I selected might clash with the table. They laid out the blue felt and sure enough I chose a color that was too bright. Again focused on making sure the customer made a good decision. I cannot say enough good things about the great job, professionalism and friendliness. No wonder this family business has been around since 1958. read more

Nick wanted to buy a pool table. There were two places to check out to buy one.. this one and one in Rancho. We went to Capitol Billiard first.. for geographical reasons. Nick said it was less favored in reviews between the two and I don't know why. We had a great experience. We went in and John Roche welcomed us. They have a small showroom with tables and pool table accessories. I wanted felt samples and John gave us a page with the available felt colors. Any information we needed, he was able to furnish answers. Nice guy. Nick called the other pool table place and they were super douchebags so we never checked it out. We went back to Capitol Billiards, put in our order and set up delivery. Our delivery was within the delivery window. The guys set up the pool table and it came with cues, balls, a cover, a how-to book, and a rack. Great to start with but we will purchase better accessories in the future.. i.e. the table cover. I had their crew come out and assemble and re felt my pool table....they have lots of colors to choose from they even give you samples to take home to see what it would look like in your room. Zero communication. We scheduled weeks in advance with them to move a pool table and re-felt it for us. When we called to confirm the morning they were supposed to pick up, they said they were rescheduling us for 5 hours later. No communication, reason, apology, or phone call prior to our call. If we hadn't called them, we wouldn't have known. We had taken the morning off work based on their scheduling and wound up having to take an entire day off.
