The Ray Charles Stuffed Potato w/ mushrooms-Crab meats (lump & backfin), Shrimp, & Cheese with crab sauce.
Sha T.

Yum. yum. yum. After some recommending, I finally tried their stuffed potato! In this order, I tried the Ray Charles. It did not disappoint. The seafood on the potato was so fresh and greatly seasoned. For the price, I'd offer at least 2 fresh veggie items to be included on the potato. Also where was the sour cream?! All that to say, there are definitely other items I'd like to try.

No My potatoes was horrible I have a stomach ache now. The greens were sweet? And for $5 that wasn't nearly enough clam strips. I ordered from here for lunch while at work through Doordash.... I was not impressed nor satisfied... I will not be ordering ever again.

This was DISGUSTING. They drenched the potato in butter and drowned it in cheese (which I asked for no cheese).

Prob the best fish sub I've had in baltimore. It was very seasoned, bread was soft and buttery and the toppings were fresh.

Prob the best fish sub I've had in baltimore. Fish was very seasoned and cooked perfectly. The bread was soft and buttery and the toppings were fresh. I would certainly order this fish sub again. Capital wings were tasty, ordered the old bay. Also tried the egg Custard lemonade and it was soooo good!!

Check out the lump crab meat from the Miles Davis potato! It was more crab meat and shrimp then potato!

I came, I saw, I conquered! I was informed about this business by an individual in a black-owned business group that I'm in on Facebook and I was dying to try it! I'm so glad that I did, it was a fantastic venture. The location is in a very busy area, but there is a parking lot directly next to it which makes the visit also convenient! I called my order and 15 minutes ahead of time, but sadly I still had to wait 25 minutes for my food. It wasn't a difficult wait, because they had videos playing on the screen in there as well as a nice wide open and clean bar to sit at while I waited. Conversation with the young lady that was working (Ms. Cookie) was pretty good too. Everyone there was quite kind. 1-2 other workers happened to walk by while my colleagues and I sat and waited for our food. Once our food came out, all of the oooo's and ahhhh's began! My colleague got two of their popular baked potatoes, the Miles Davis & Dizzy Stuffed. Oh my goodness they were so tasty, you know I had to taste them! I purchased a fish sandwich which was made with Whiting and was a very reasonably priced at $6 as well as a chicken box which were 4 wings & an order of fries. All perfectly seasoned & prepared!! I also ordered a strawberry lemonade. Every single food/ beverage mentioned was so unimaginably good that I cannot wait to return and wait however long it will it take for all of this yumminess! I have talked about this place so much, that my husband wants to take my children. I've also bragged to all of my friends to go as well! Fantastic job Capital Lounge! I definitely wish this business the best of success and I can't wait to return so I can help them achieve that goal!

I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I would give it a 3.5 stars. I definitely feel that it could have been executed better. I ordered the Sammie Davis Stuffed Potato. I love the concept of the dish, but the salmon was overcooked (a bit dry) and there was very little crab meat. I also feel that there could have been a bit more seasoning, but that could depend on who you are. Pros are that the salmon was a good size, and the shrimp were a good size as well. I would return and try something like the fried fish.

This is a joke. This is $26 for half a salmon. And it's barely stuffed. I will never order again. It's flat as hell and salty

The overstuffed potato is as good as it looks. It is seasoned VERY well. So delicioussssss... I ordered the overstuffed potato with crab meat, shrimp, chicken, crab dip and cheese with a large half n half for $18... It was worth the money! I will likely become a regular customer here. The bartender/liquor store attendant was very nice and down to earth. She was working on the liquor store side and stopped by the lounge side of the business where food is served to chat with me. She told me that they have $2 crab night on Tues. and Thurs... also karaoke on Thurs... Monday is open mic poetry. Free street parking is available. If you are not from Baltimore, please note this is a lounge bar with excellent food. This is not a commercial style restaurant. Street parking is in the local around the way neighborhood and yes people hang outside and the area may not be something you are familiar with... but I'm telling you the overloaded baked potato is worth coming to this side of town The locals who are outside will direct you on where to go and even make food recommendations. Just figured I'd share this note to give non-locals a heads up. The overloaded potato is 5 stars, but since I have to consider location and other things, I gave it 4 stars. Update: I came back to try the overstuffed baked potato with shrimp, crab, and broccoli. I also ordered crabby fries and butter crunch pudding dessert. All of it was delicious! My friend ordered a Turkey burger, chicken wings and fries. Food: 5 stars

The hallmark of any good chef is the ability to nail the basics. You know, the basic ingredients (chicken, egg, beef, etc) that form the foundation of almost all cuisine. This place couldn't prepare chicken properly. Shame -- the seasoning was good. But the meat was so bone dry I had to down it with water. -2 stars A good restaurant should nail all dishes. This one did not. -1 star Chili was obviously cafeteria-level goop. -1 star

This was an awesome surprise & treat. I hadn't been in here since the previous owner had it & it was called Choppers. I had seen a friend of mines on Instagram post the salmon burger & it looked good. So i proceeded to ask where she was. Surprisingly she said Capital Lounge. So my curiosity lead me to there. The service & new makeover was impressive. My waitress was nice & constantly checking to see if we needed anything. The shots where a nice size & price. Didn't feel like i was getting ripped off. The food didn't take at all & it was nice, hot, & good. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Plus it was only $9 which this day & age is unbeatable. The menu had a lot of variety I'm going have to come back to check out myself & i would recommend if any of you are in the area check them out also!

This bar is inside the Hotel Ulysses, once entering the lobby, it's up the stairs and on the right. The dimly lit, mirror covered walls, and plush velvet seating adds to the upscale vibes. We were quickly attended to by a server and placed an order for drinks. My mom got a drink that included something called shrub (never heard of this before), but the server warned us it is a bit vinager-y and different, but that was ok for us. I ordered the Ocha Kudasai and my mom got the Zahara. The Kudasai was like a lychee green tea drink, it was light, slightly sweet, and delicious. The Zahara was different (as promised), but actually delectable. It had a flavor that I had never had in a drink before, but in a pleasant way. If you're an adventurous drinker, definitely try the Zahara! Love the vibes here, I will definitely be back.

Found this place on Yelp. It's inside the Ulysses hotel. It's really posh, and probably great for a date or a girls' night out. We chose to sit at the bar and leave the intimate spaces for people who were in that mood. Bartenders were really friendly and helpful and attentive and knowledgeable. I think we ended up with the Delorean and the Walking Iris, and shared the mini crabcakes. All were very good.

When we entered I was expecting to give a password but it was not needed...lol. So we sat down in these large egg shaped seats which were really comfortable. Our waiter was really knowledgeable on the menu and suggested some great drinks. We did not try the food as it was past the restaurant hours being open and we had already eaten at a restaurant in the alleyway. I will be doing a review on that Italian restaurant soon because it was really good. I loved the whole speakeasy vibe and the music was amazing.
