Nice coffee shop, small seating area, and a wide variety of Vietnamese coffee drinks, mostly iced. No fancy sugar-free syrups or weird flavors, t they do have unique flavored cream drinks (child) like Ube Cream and Matcha Cream. I got a simple oat milk late w flavor added and it was really good!
The lychee guava drink is really good and not too sweet. I love the mini ice cubes! The service is fast, although there isn't much interaction. The space is small with limited seating. Overall, a nice spot for a quick drink.
Delicious drinks! I got the ube latte. Ube was strong, and the coffee was Vietnamese style. Very strong and bitter, which is true Vietnamese coffee. I really enjoyed my drink. The service was decent. There was a kiosk to place your order and I waited about 10 mins. My friend ordered the matcha mango and waited for quite some time. The ambiance of the place is really pretty and hidden. I would stop by here if you're in Flushing NY
3.5 stars We tried the Jasmine Matcha Cloud drinks and it was kinda interesting. We did get ours 100% sweet, so I wasn't even sure what I was drinkin at first but there seemed to be a good amount of Matcha and some thick cream on top which was a bit odd cuz it was just too thick.. definitely isn't a foam but a very rich, dense matcha cream that wasn't very sweet but it wasn't bitter either. I didn't really taste any Jasmine tea, I'm not sure if I liked it but I did have a big discount. I don't think I would get it again but I would come back to try something else. It's a cute spot with some seats. L did like the drink more than I did but he's not as picky. They had old school music playing and one of the guys was singing along sometimes. So didn't experience any rude employees... Considering that there's a bubble tea shop practically on every block in Flushing, it's nice to see one that's more focused on coffee drinks. Next time I'll try their reg matcha or coffee to see how good the other drinks are. For now it's a nice lil spot maybe not as popular as the bubble tea shops close by but it still had a good amount of customers after we came in.
The cream to coffee ratio is really off. There's way too much to coffee where the cream is overpowering all the coffee flavor. At most coffee shops the cream is about an inch from the top and here it's several inches. I can't believe 100% is the recommended sweetness as 50% was already pretty sweet. I like how you can order from the kiosk and there's some seating inside.
The coffee is very strong so if you want to wake up, try this spot. Not too many food options but enough if you wanted to grab something to go. I tried the ube flavor and it was good. The place itself is small but there are some tables.
My friend needed coffee in the morning and conveniently I saw Caphe Den from our hotel window so we decided to go try it! - Salted Cream Coffee -- added labubu design for $1 It was strong and tasted good. It is on the pricey side for the size of the cup, but it was definitely worth a try! The interior is small with cozy decors, but limited indoor seating. The service was great and the staff was helpful offering recommendations.
Love Caphe Den. There's not too many places doing the creamtop coffees with vietnamese coffee. While the flavors blend well together, it was hard to evaluate the actual coffee itself (i'll have to come back and get a regular one!) but the black sesame was nice and rich and I inhaled it! The space is super cute, too and the workers were helpful. There are a few tables and a small bar with like five stools for you to sit and enjoy your coffee. It's tucked in a quiet corner of flushing but it's a good spot to add to your flushing food crawl and kick it off with some caffeine. My friends got a variety of creamtop viet coffees and the egg cream coffee which was delicious, too. I'm glad vietnamese coffee is getting more attention; it's my favorite and I love places getting creative with it like this!
PHEW that Vietnamese coffee hit the spot especially on a hot day. Cute decor. Not super spacious inside. A huge menu but I knew I just wanted the Vietnamese coffee.

Service was good and comfortable seating was available. My Daughter got the Egg Cream matcha latte. She found it to be a bit bitter. The egg cream did not offset the bitterness unfortunately. Still she would come back to try something else.
not a super strong jasmine flavor nor a particularly good matcha flavor. i would've preferred to get a fruit drink i think. i tried the salted egg latte also and it was definitely good for a coffee drink (as a non coffee fan), but to be honest i don't think it's particularly that much better than a caramel latter or something similar. the salted egg yolk flavor was definitely very mild. they have a place to wait inside which was nice with the heat outside. i don't think i would come back
Jasmine matcha cloud was the best most flavorful one. Banana was second best had a lovely creamy taste and not overly sweet. Ube didnt taste much like ube but matcha was good. Ordered for delivery it was packaged nicely and would get again.

Very good and strong coffee. It is sweet because they used condensed milk but it is not heavy. I got 30 percent sweetness (the least amount). Service was fast and the place is clean. I like the aesthetic. I got the coffee with ube flavored cream. It was good, a bit gritty but not off-putting. I bought the coffee and drank it the next day and it was very good. read more
A great spot for Vietnamese coffee! The inside of the cafe has two kiosks that you can order at, a window of yummy pastries, and some bar space to enjoy your drinks at. The service was nice. I got the coconut matcha and the matcha foam coffee. Let me warn you: the coffee here is STRONG. By itself, the coffee is extremely bitter and the foam does help a bit, but it's also pretty thick so it's a bit hard to mix in. I loved the coconut matcha, however, and I would definitely come back just for that. read more

My friends and I decided to stop here on our last day before flying back home, and it didn't disappoint. The shop is tucked into a not-too-busy street, a bit off from the main road, but it is a cute find. Compared to many of the cafes we went to during our stay, it was a bit small, but it had a cozy vibe to it. Personally, I don't think it was as strong as I'd like viet coffee to be, but my friend absolutely loved it. The Ube cream was sweet and balanced out the coffee pretty well. The ice of course was pretty much the whole drink, which was also a bit disappointing, but overall it is worth a try. read more
Visited this cafe as a recommendation of a friend. I love having Vietnamese coffee when I need a strong fix of caffeine. This place has a lot of unique coffee items on the menu as well as sweet items. You can choose to order through the kiosk or with the cashier. I tried the Egg Coffee and it was very unique. It had a thick yellow topping that you can mix into the coffee base. I loved the strength of the coffee and it gave a really good kick. Service was good with the employees we interacted with. The prices are moderate, but worth it. I would visit back if ever in the area. read more
Cozy spot for Viet Coffee in Flushing. Caphe Den is clean and relatively small. They have free wifi so it's a nice place to get work done. A tad expensive for just one coffee ($7+) but the coffee was strong and yummy. 70% sweetness is perfect. Will definitely get the job done if you're craving some Viet Coffee. read more
Stopped by on a whim on an early morning. Service was quick. I liked that you could customize your order and choose how much condensed milk. I had the oat latte which still has their drip coffee. I thought it was a good taste. Definitely sweet. It has a lot of ice but it's the smaller crunchy ice. Overall I think I will be back to try other items on the menu if in the area. Ambiance is chill. It's a cute corner spot but I can't comment on how busy it can be. read more

Delicious coffee but plan ahead cause the caffeine was really strong as advertised haha!! Got to try the egg cream and ube cream flavors. Be sure to give them a good mix!! The viet coffee is strong and bitter by itself and nicely balanced by the creams. The egg cream one kinda reminded me of eggnog but not spiced. Also resembled the creamy egg flavors from Chinese custard buns. The ube cream had a subtle flavor but still came through with every sip consistently! While I liked the former, my partner preferred the latter. They also have a good range of Asian influenced baked goods. The salted egg yolk cookie had a great flavor and sweet-savory balance. The store has some seating but not a lot. Staff were not super friendly but at least polite. read more
I needed a caffeine kick, and the Viet coffee here absolutely hit the spot. My favorite was the coconut frappe for a subtly sweet and refreshing coconut-y flavor, but I also tried the black sesame cream coffee and really enjoyed the slightly salty & savory foam as well. Interior is small and cozy, with limited seating. Prices are definitely higher than expected, but I thought it was worth trying! read more

Having gone to Vietnam recently, I've been looking for an egg coffee place and was excited to try this place. Not sure if it was an off day but the egg cream coffee I got was super thick. Flavor was good albeit slightly on the sweet side, but I had to let the ice melt almost entirely in order to counteract the thickness of the egg cream. Would try again though! read more

As the only Vietnamese dedicated coffee shop in Flushing, Caphe Den (#1) is definitely capitalizing on a niche and one that is on the rise in demand. However, given the sub-standard Viet options throughout NYC, my expectations couldn't be smaller, They surprised me in some areas and disappointed in others, but ultimately I'm happy for their presence in the neighborhood. The place is small and only offers counter seating with a small lover's seat in the corner. It is handicap accessible with the ramp and gives off a pseudo-trendy vibe with a bit of modern aesthetic. I could totally see this being a great date friendly spot when it's quiet or a remote work destination. While counter ordering is available, a majority of folks are doing it through a self-serve touch screen station. My large group of Vietnamese visitors ordered practically every drink from the coffee and milk tea section, so I got to sample a good amount. Overall the fruit drinks and milk tea got the most thumbs up, where as the coffee had mixed reviews. Personally, the signature ca phe sua da was just average. They went a bit heavy with the ice and I felt the condensed milk ratio was also a little disappointing. I felt the same with the black coffee equivalent, which was better. I thought their bac xiu (creamy Saigon style latte) was pretty solid and the cream coffee was the overwhelming favorite in the group. There are few food options, but I dig the cookies from btr bakes (#2) and the sometimes-free bananas. Service is a lot like the coffee: hot and cold. The first time was cold, since the counter folks seemed stressed with our Viet group that had crowded up half the store and struggled to communicate in Viet. The last time on just my own was significantly better, but it might also be because they were slower than usual. I am looking forward to coming back and indulging on their other drinks. A bit smaller than expected = limited seating & no bathroom? You order at the kiosk and it takes a bit for your drinks to come out. Love the vibes and interior decorations though, looking very modern and clean. The cream foam on the top was harder than expected to drink with the vietnamese coffee on the bottom and they weren't as flavorful as I expected? But the vietnamese coffee is pretty strong, which I liked. Would say this is more of a order and go type of store! read more

Cute Vietnamese cafe in Flushing. They open early which is great (7am ET). We tried their egg cream coffee which was pretty good. You can adjust the condense milk level and we went with 30%, ice level was set and we got a size large to share. The coffee flavor is robust and well rounded, one of the better Viet coffees I've had. I wish the egg cream was a bit easier to mix in and drink, it was a bit difficult to get through the straw and to mix. Aside from that flavor was good and service was smooth and quick (no line). Would definitely come again and try other drinks on their menu. read more
I've never had egg cream coffee before but I'm sold now! You can order at kiosk or with staff behind the counter. Interior decor well done with the tiny space they have, maybe about 7 people can sit? This place really is a grab and go type place/ a great pit stop if going for a foodie/snack/drink crawl in Flushing. Worth the semisideways trek to grab a cup. Pro tip- get half or less sugar so you don't get diabetes and try not to drink it all before the ice melts (but honestly really hard to slow down inhaling it! its just so addicting!) Alas, dedicated Viet coffee in Queens. I've come here numerous times and even brought some out-of-town guests here. The coffee has been very consistent. If you're used to higher milk ratio-based lattes, the coffee may likely be too strong for your taste since Viet coffee is traditionally steeped slower (hence more concentrated), but I don't know if they actually use a Phin in their brewing process. I've pretty much tried most of their menu and the Coconut Frappe, hands down, is my favorite - it takes me back to a recent trip to Ha Noi. Most of the other drinks have a very thick layer of cream that takes awhile to fully absorb into the coffee and you don't really want to drink the cream layer first. Dunno if the hype has really calmed down since its opening since I go during off-peak hours but I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Price point is on the higher side but probably at NYC market rate since specialty coffee will cost you this much anywhere else. read more
I stayed at a hotel nearby and ended up grabbing coffee here every morning when I was in Flushing! Sooooo good. Perfect way to wake up each day while I was in town. Huge variety on the menu too. Of the drinks I tried, my favorites were the coconut-based drinks! The Coconut Matcha Latte was incredible. Rich matcha with the refreshing flavors from the coconut water. It had real coconut in there too. I loved when bits of it would come up the straw. The Coconut Frappe was also really tasty. Blended viet coffee with coconut milk! A fun slushie-type drink. I wanted to love this place as I was really excited for the idea of a Vietnamese coffee cafe but there is something odd about their foams. It's just ... sticky ... almost like marshmallow? It doesn't mix with the drink at all, so I hate to say it's really just not a good idea to top a liquid drink with this weird sticky product. It's also concerning to me because the consistency of marshmallow is commonly achieved using gelatin. I'm wondering if a representative wants to respond and confirm what is in the foam that makes it so sticky? I was only able to drink halfway before the liquid was gone and my cup was just ice and sticky stuff. Really not appealing. You can't even drink the sticky stuff. It is just such a weird consistency that gets clogged up in your straw. I got 2 drinks -- the iced Vietnamese coffee topped with black sesame "foam" and a coconut water latte topped with matcha "foam" -- and before tip it was $19. Whether that's worth it is subjective but I wouldn't return for what we got at that price. Both drink's foams were the consistency of glue. Hoping they tweak the "foam" recipe because funny enough my friend warned me the foam is weird before I went to try it. Until then, I wouldn't recommend. The topping foams are what makes the drinks stand out, especially in Flushing where dessert and drink shops are literally on every corner. If not for the specialty products, why wouldn't I just go to a Vietnamese restaurant and get an iced coffee to go? read more

What a cute small cafe! Loved the decor and theming of this shop. We ordered the standard vietnamese milk coffee and the black sesame cream coffee, both with 50% condensed milk. Typically with boba we'll get half sugar, but I think we should have stuck with 100% for this, I forgot how strong this coffee is! Overall quite good, but a little pricey. I think I preferred the normal milk coffee over the black sesame cream, but both were tasty read more
Two of my favorites in one drink? MUST BE IN HEAVEN! I love coffee and the fact that it is Vietnamese coffee makes it 10x better because I know this drink will pack a punch! It's nice that you can choose how sweet you want it because I don't like sugar in my coffee but because it's Vietnamese coffee, I just have at least 30% condensed milk in it. I was expecting the matcha cream to be similar to whip cream consistency, but it did not disappoint. It was heavy and thick with a strong matcha taste. The cream could have been a little less salty, but not much of an issue. Overall, I definitely think this is a great drink for coffee and matcha lovers! Service was quick and easy because it is all digital through a kiosk. Only reason it's a 4 star is the price. It does seem overly priced for a cup of coffee. read more
AFTER placing my order on the kiosk, I see a tiny 3x5" sign on receipt paper taped below the register that says "average wait time 30 minutes" and another that says 45 MINUTES next to it. I left and came back 30-40 minutes, waited a few, just to see that my drink was there the whole time?! I noticed no one was calling out any numbers and people who came in after me just started walking up to pick up their orders. $11.80 for a large iced cream coffee??? I had high hopes, it was mostly ice, just a few sips and the cream didn't really mix with the coffee as I'd hoped. Pretty disappointed. Not worth it. Just hype. Small narrow space, extremely stuffy if you come at a busy time like the weekend. You can order from 2 kiosks. Had to wait. They have some pastries and cookies. Weird layout, because when it's crowded, you will likely just walk straight ahead and not see the tiny pastry display to the sharp right. I was excited by the free wifi, which I noticed BEFORE the sign about the 30-45 minute wait..now that explains why it's available because what else will you do for 45 minutes. read more

I love Vietnamese coffee and I am so excited that there is a specialty store opened closed to home. Unfortunately, it closes before I arrive flushing from work. So I was not able to try until recently. I ordered the egg cream coffee, which is the best seller. It tasted good. I love the balance of the bitterness and richness of Vietnamese coffee and the sweetness of egg cream. Since I wanted to taste the coffee in the beginning, I didn't stir the egg cream. So it was a little too sweet for me at the end. Egg cream may be too strong for the coffee. But it is an interesting way to consume Vietnamese coffee. I hope this store would stay open later so that I can get the coffee more. I still want to try different flavors. read more

I wouldn't call this authentic Vietnamese coffee. The coffee had no strength to it. I ordered: -egg cream coffee (egg cream didn't have a specific flavor that is common among egg coffees) -Vietnamese milk coffee -Vietnamese black coffee Coffee tasted like water, not the usual strong Vietnamese caffeine punch I expect from Vietnamese coffee. Service was non existent. I ordered from a kiosk and the workers didn't say hi upon entering or anything when leaving. Instead I recieved a blank stare. At least it's decorated nicely inside. read more

4.5 stars. So happy for this viet coffee shop to open! Ambiance: beautiful shop, but small. They have maybe 2 tables inside and free wifi. You can order either at the kiosks or in person. Coffee: had to try the egg cream and ube coffee. Thought the ube had an odd taste to it and just didn't feel that it goes well together. The egg cream was rich and custardy and tasted very good. The viet coffee is strong, as it should be. They give plenty of ice in order to dilute it down a little, also as it should be. I think in the future I would be okay with just the traditional viet coffee as you can never go wrong with condensed milk. Apparently you can adjust the sweetness which is just the amount of condensed milk. Worth the try! read more

(Opening February 24) First of its kind in Flushing, a Vietnamese Coffee Shop.. their base is Vietnamese coffee, slow drip coffee. You can have it alone hot or iced or fancy it up with different toppings/flavors... . The coffee is strong and that's the way it should be. . The popular is the Egg Cream. It's so rich and creamy and pairs really well with the coffee. . I like just the classic/original iced coffee. Can't go wrong with it. You can taste the coffee and condensed milk. So good... . They also have fruit drinks if you don't want caffeine, but trust me, you're gonna want that Vietnamese coffee . They also have hot coffees as well, but either way, you have to try!!! . I'm scared I will be going there often for my morning cup of joe. . It's not very spacious inside, not quite a sit down place but rather grab and go. Staff is very nice and friendly. read more
