Strong coffee with a variety of flavors. My favorite is the egg cream coffee since the flavors compliment each other and neither is over powered. Their matcha drinks paired with strawberry or coconut are also refreshing if you want a lighter option or less caffeine. They also have baked goods that are unique. Sometimes they sell out and I'm not sure when they restock, but of what I have tried, nothing has been too sweet or bland. You'll also notice that there's a lot of ice but don't worry mine didn't taste watered down after few hours. We didn't wait long as others are saying, simply because we came on a weekday morning. I assumed a later time or on a weekend they get really busy. I wish there were more tables and chairs as they only have 2 tables. I came here the other day to pick up a mobile order. There were 7-8 people working but I stood there for 3-4 minutes but no one paid any attention to me and left me standing there. I tried to get he workers attention, and the one working the cashier just continued what she was doing and ignored me. I asked someone else making the drinks for help to find my order which had already been ready, and he directed back to the same person working the cashier. When I showed her my order, and told her which ordering app I ordered from, she was snappy and rudely said I know, I'm looking at the order number. The drinks itself were okay. I got a milk tea and a coffee. The coffee was strong and true to Vietnamese coffee, but very very sweet. Had I known it would've been this sweet, I would've reduced the amount of condensed milk. However the milk tea was disappointing, it tasted like milk and sugar and had little to no tea taste. Additionally, the prices of the drinks were insanely expensive, $8-9 per drink. We came here opening week to try out the Vietnamese coffee, and it was pretty very busy. Took about an hour to get our drinks, as drinks were buy one get one. We got to try several different drinks. The egg cream coffee was the best, very rich and flavorful. The coconut matcha was a bit bland, and without much hint of matcha. The ube cream coffee was decent, and the straight viet coffee was strong. Vietnamese coffee in of itself is certainly not a new concept and I've made my fair share at home with my phin filter and condensed milk. However, the drinks here take the classic Vietnamese coffee to the next level, with their cream toppings. Among the most popular are the ube, the egg cream, and the black sesame. I ordered the egg cream and was instantly blown away by how rich and decadent the drink was. I made the mistake of sipping the drink without mixing it and got a full mouthful of the sweet, thick, egg cream. You absolutely must mix it into your coffee for the full effect. The egg taste is rather mild, giving the drink a rich, custardy flavor. It is a heavy drink, so I don't recommend getting this as your morning cup of joe. It's more of a dessert coffee, and definitely can even be shared with your significant other. At $8 a cup, it's pricey, but the novelty and execution of the drink makes it worth it. I loved the ambiance of the cafe as well. Although on the smaller side, there are a few tables and seats where you can enjoy your drink and admire the aesthetics of the gold/bold color theme. There isn't a ton of space to wait when it's crowded so I waited outside thinking I would get a text when my order was ready but it never came. My drink was just sitting on the counter when I went to check on it. I ended up getting an "order ready" text hours after I left the shop. With the 30+ minute wait and steep price tag, I would probably only stop here when someone else wants to try it. read more

Caphe Den a women owned business is such a great addition to downtown Flushing. The aesthetic of the place does take you into another world especially with a sip of their coffee. I ordered hot Vietnamese coffee and I liked how you can control the amount of condensed milk for those that are not into sweet drinks. There are many flavor options as well. I will be back on a warmer day to try their ice coffee flavor drinks such as ube and black sesame. Pastries snacks are available to purchase. They have pandan and ube cookies. They should include pastries for breakfast options that pairs well with the amazingly strong coffee. If you need a caffeine fix, Caphe Den is the place to visit. Seating is available to enjoy your drink and the staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are not available though. Drinks are very pricey even for the location, and my matcha had clumps not fully integrated unless I stirred it every couple of minutes. I've been here a few times and the drinks have been great. But this past time was not the best and I've noticed that the workers have stopped being friendly. Quaint Vietnamese coffee shop newly opened in flushing with lovely baristas and two kiosks for options of placing orders. Although the cafe is small, it's modern, sleek, and cozy. It has two bar stools and two small round tables with benches so enough for a total number of 6-8 people if you want to sit and chill. Location is definitely a little bit farther off the main strip of flushing which I actually prefer. Much quieter and less traffic. Now onto the egg cream coffee I ordered. I've never had something like this but I've always appreciated the strong aroma and flavor of Vietnamese coffee. It usually keeps me really awake, too, so that's always a plus. You get options to get this with 100%, 50%, or 0% sugar so I opted for half. I thought of the egg cream can be sweet and also I wanted to get their salty egg cookie which is going to be sweet. My order was ready within 3-5 mins on a weekday morning. More people came in shortly after and delivery people also frequently show up to pick up orders. The wait time is about 5-7 minutes which is not bad for when it's super busy. My coffee was perfect because it's not overly sweet and I can still taste the bitterness and smokiness from the coffee itself. Well balanced which leaves enough room for me to enjoy the cookie without feeling like I'm getting cavity. I also love the idea of salty egg cookie because I can see it rivals the ever so trendy caramel sea salt flavor with the Asian twist of sweet and saltiness. Towards the end of this coffee when the egg cream all sinks down, I start to taste the full body of it. I ended up ordering a black Vietnamese coffee and asked them to just fill that inside my egg cream coffee cup. Eat your eggs in the morning so this will be one of my versions of a perfect breakfast on my day off when I just want to relax after dropping off my kid to school. Oh, and one more thing that I love is the straws they use are made with coffee grounds which are biodegradable and composted. Really great idea on recycling and being eco-conscious/friendly especially paper straws are just not very user/taste friendly. I look forward to many more visits to this place! read more
