The only bad thing I can say is the place is too far away from where I live to enjoy it more often!

I got full pretty quick, but that seems to be a pattern on this trip. Neither of us are key lime pie people. We like it fine but we don't go out of our way for it. Since we were here though, when in Rome do as the Romans do, so we figured we'd give it a shot. It reminded us of that episode of Dexter where he's helping a friend who is dying and she wants to find the best key lime pie. That was kind of the energy we had going into it, just looking for the experience. I also picked up some white chocolate covered cherries but we haven't gotten to those yet. We'll report back on those. Overall it was pretty good for what it is. If you're a key lime fan I think you'll really enjoy it. Most of the ladies who work there do not speak English just like in Miami, but there is always one who speaks a little English and if you can speak a little Espanol and point to what you want, you will get what you came there for. Our server was friendly and helped us get our favorite guava pastries. Their prices are very reasonable here. They were fresh baked and smelled so good! They also have Cuban coffee, iced and hot. They make delicious cakes and donuts. And the favorite there is the Cuban Sandwich, which is generously filled with ham, shredded pork, pickle, cheese and crusty bread. They also have pastelitos and croquettas. Parking is right in front of the super cute casa restaurant. There is outdoor dining and a few tables inside also. They have a drive-in also.
