    Olive oil. Gifts.

If you're ever passing through or live in the area you definitely have to check this place out! Great for gift buying! My wife and I ended up buying all kinds of things. The rosemary olive oil and chocolate balsamic are so far our favorite. The owner is so personable and gave us samples of anything we wanted. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!

To sum up this place in one word, it would be "WOW". This is such a cute little stop off on the way to or from Key West. The owner was so personable and extremely helpful when we were sampling the products. They not only sell balsamic and oil, but also a variety of olives and sauces. For such a small space, they pack quite a bit of product on the shelves. Also the balsamic pairings on ice cream is a must do activity.

Their pizza is thin crust like NY style, but that's where the similarities end. I found the crust a bit flavorless and the sauce lacking in spices as well. The pepperoni and meatball pizzas were well topped, but the spinach garlic pizza we ordered had barely anything on it. For a large pizza, I'd say each slice had 2-3 small spinach leaves, tops. It was extremely sparse considering you pay around $3 for extra toppings. It's edible for sure but if you want a solid slice of NY pizza, I'd skip this spot.

I could say this has been the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. Not only was the service horrible, but they hardly had any of the items on the menu. I remember the meatballs, pizza and rolls being amazing so we ordered that. The meatballs had potential but they must have been frozen and were warm on the outside but the middle was cold. There was no way of getting the waiter to tell him since we waited about 25 minutes to get our order in. Mind you we were the only ones in the restaurant. The rolls were not edible. The pizza was ok, but the crust had no salt whatsoever so you couldn't eat it. I was going to try the dessert but opted not to since it would have taken half hour more. It's such a shame because they were so good. Never again. I usually do not leave bad reviews, but this was just total neglect of a once good establishment.

The menu is extensive with any Italian appetizer, pasta, or main dish you could think of. They also have pizza which seems very popular. We both started with a house salad; It was fresh and tasty. For our main course, I had the Spicy Shrimp fra Diavola and my wife had the lasagna. We both commented on the incredible flavor of the pasta itself (mine was served over spaghetti.) I don't ever remember eating at an Italian restaurant where the flavor of the pasta was so memorable. My entree had large gulf shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. It was noticeably spicy and tasted great. I tasted the lasagna which was also among the best I have had. If you are looking for Italian in the Key Largo area, I highly recommend the Italian Food Co. We stopped back before we left Key Largo. We shared a large house salad and a "meatball panini" (aka, a meatball calzone.). It was great and large; the two of us didn't finish it! To top off the evening we shared an espresso with ice cream. Our second trip not reinforced the first; just go & enjoy!
