We have been coming to key largo/largo cargo for decades as a family to visit our resident family. Last summer, my family member was told by a staff member that the shirts with maps saying Gulf of Mexico on that front table would also come in Gulf of America. She has about 10 of the Gulf of Mexico ones and was ready to get more with the new print to match the real world map. That same family member asked the staff present today if they were available, and was given the response "don't make me kick you out, we don't do politics here" ... it's just a map on a shirt. Two of my family members love those shirts and just wanted updated ones. Very disappointing and cold. No politics were mentioned, even after that comment. read more

Great selection of fun t-shirts for the whole family to unique knick-knacks, beautiful jewelry, and adorable kids' toys. Anytime I have family or friends visiting from out of town, this is where I send them for a little retail therapy. Did you go to the Keys, whether for a day trip, whole weekend or longer and remembered at the last minute that you were short on souvenirs to bring back home? Look for the shark! Literally one of the last shops before leaving the upper keys, I stumbled on Largo Cargo during today's day trip when I saw their roadside shark sculpture! At first I thought it was just a spot for a quick picture but noticed it is an actual store. I was able to find a few fridge magnets to bring to friends. But did you know what else I found? A talking pirate! (Well actually a very talented animatronic one with all the puns; I think there was even a mother-in-law joke in there :) The attendants were very pleasant and helpful with locating my "loot". I believe they also sell shirts and swimwear if you were to forget while heading TO the Keys. I would definitely recommend! read more

Been coming to Largo Cargo since late 80s, always a great selection and reasonable prices. Bought something in Key West and the sales clerk forgot to put in bag.. We were staying in Marathon n leaving the next day so couldn't go back down, but I knew I'd be able to get a replacement on the way out of the Keys at Largo Cargo. Sales Lady, who told us she started in January and liked her job was very polite and conversational. Its refreshing when people enjoy coming to work and actually want to work. This an excellent place to shop for all your Keys souvenirs. read more

Overseas Highway is lined with shops showcasing plenty of fishing, boating, outdoorsy and artisanal items all local to Monroe County. While this specific location is in the northern part of Key Largo and essentially one of the first stores spotted on your trip down south, I'll mention it's not worth skipping. I find them to be one of the better stores to buy shell goods or simply a pair of reliable boat sandals. It's perfectly stocked with plenty of interesting goods to keep you constantly searching the aisles for a new cool souvenir. They've got a few parking spots in the front and luckily it's always a quick maneuver to grab a spot. I love pulling in here and checking out their stuff whenever I pass the area. It's on the Atlantic side passing mm103 heading south on your left side. I totally dig this spot. read more

Very cute little gift shop with a great selection of clothing, magnets, keychains, cups, stickers, toys, books, and more! We stopped by around 8 pm on our drive home, and this was one of the only gift shops still open at that time. The employees were very friendly and the prices were typical gift shop prices. Everything was very tidy and organized, and they even have some sale racks. Overall, I would definitely recommend this store for all of your Florida Keys souvenir needs! read more

If you need 3X shirts, this is the place to check. In my other stores, it was impossible to find larger sizes, at all. But, beyond that, their prices are good and they have a very good selection across the board. read more

This souvenir shop does the job, but it seemed to be on the lower end as far as quality goes. There was not a huge selection of stuff but yet it was very claustrophobic. The other people j was with seemed to love it here, so I guess it was just not for me. Although, something unique that they have here are very pretty wine glasses. Those might have been of interest to me had I not already had too much to take on my flight home. Overall, not an awful shop, just not what I was looking for. read more

Adorable little gift shop with a huge variety of things to choose from, great prices too. We stopped at a sandal shop that claimed to have good prices and they were horrible. I am so glad we stopped here! They have so many little knickknacks it can almost be overwhelming! The girls working behind the counter spent the entire time complaining about past customers loud enough that no matter where I was in the store I could hear the conversation. Then as I paid for over priced goods she was so disengaged she knocked my wallet off the counter and was in such a hurry to get back to complaining about customers she dropped my change!! "Ops - I'm just dropping everything today" was her reply .. Then before I could even get out the door she was back to complain... I tried Largo Cargo a few weeks ago for the first time and now now I wish I did not. I called them on there 800 number and know one answered. So I tried there regular and a women answered and took my order and said they were out of one color I ordered at that time. So I guess I was not going to get my order shipped in 24 to 48 hours. I called the other day to see how my order was doing and they know nothing about it. So I would not do business with them anymore. read more
