Well I went to my regular dentist because an implant needs a crown and come to find out Dr. VanDenBurghe left a piece of rubber in my jawbone that will be there forever. I will not be having them do my implant or any other work again. The only thing they have going for them is how nice of people they are. Front desk is Amazing and the doctors are so friendly. The work they do is not top tier so if you're looking for a one time trip for a problem tooth this would not be the spot for you. If you like nice people and going in for multiple visits to have work done on a single tooth this is the place! 2 stars for being so nice and always same day visits are available. Extra information to know is they do not offer any pain management so Tylenol and ibuprofen is all you get. Hopefully you're lucky enough to not need pain medication because they will not give you any no matter the circumstance.

I thought going to a specialist was going to cost an arm and a leg but I am happy to report they merely cost a finger at most.

It's a shame his staff and office aren't reflective of Francis and Dr. Facer. There are other, more consistent dental experiences to be had in SLC than this one. Dig deeper to find one who actually sees you as a human, not a wallet for them to reach into. Instead of making it the customer's responsibility to reach out, how about doing the professional, ethically correct thing, and reach out to me vs posting pablum every 8-9 months or so? His tech was great too and was just as caring as the doctor. Best of all was the reasonable price! After an extremely bad experience at a different dentist in Provo, I was hoping that this…read moreexperience would be better. I was very pleased with the service and care that I received from Greenwood dental. Upon entering the office, my wife and I were greeted by Renee, who was extremely helpful and friendly. (Trust me, this goes a long way toward putting patients at ease). We filled out a minimal amount of necessary paperwork and were whisked back to private rooms (very nice) for our cleanings, x-rays and examinations. The hygienist that helped me was very professional and personable. She did her job well and at an efficient speed. The TV in the ceiling was a nice touch for patient distraction, although headphones for sound would have been nice. The office is extremely well coordinated with appointments, and no sooner was the cleaning completed than Dr. Brandon Greenwood entered and introduced himself. Rather than getting right down to business, he took the time to get to know me and tell me a little about the office and the other dentists working there. He also let me know that the office does emergency appointments and that his staff are available whenever they are needed. Awesome! His fun personality was a delight, and a nice personal touch to his care. He was very good at explaining what he saw on my x-rays and letting me know the best way to care for my teeth in their current state. (no cavities!, yes!). A great dentist, whom I will be glad to return to. Lastly, the office gives out "prizes" for not having any cavities (Yes, even to the adults), so I got a t-shirt for my good dental hygiene efforts. I'm sure this practice keeps the kids happy. I didn't need any more invasive procedures done, so if I do I'll update the review later with my thoughts on those. All in all, a positive experience at Greenwood Dental. I'd recommend to anyone with any dental anxiety. Truly a delightful experience.

I just got a front tooth chip repair here and I am very disappointed in my experience. I now have a…read moretooth that looks bad and will bug me my whole life unless I go back to have them re-do it, which I'm either going to do or go somewhere else to have done. I had Dr. Dale, who was so impatient! After the initial shaping there was a large chunk of fake tooth scratching me on the back that he couldn't see, and after I had to have him try to file it off 5+ times to no avail he declared "I'd hate to move your furniture!" And by the end, he had totally misshapen the tooth so it doesn't look at all like my other one, is crooked, has an uneven line, and is sharp on one edge where it touches my tongue. But because it was already crooked and too small compared to my other, and he wouldn't stop commenting on how picky I was, I just stopped asking him to fix it. I hoped he was right and I was just being picky but I don't even want to smile any more that's how much it bothers me still. He would never include this tooth in a portfolio of his best work, and that speaks volumes to the kind of dentist that he is. Shouldn't you want your patients to be impressed instead of depressed with your work? Especially a front tooth! Two stars because their office themselves were very accommodating and nice, somehow when I called to schedule they had scheduled me at a different office? But when I showed up at the office I had called, they were able to squeeze me in despite "not having" an appointment.
