I wish I could give him ten stars! I am a hygienist and worked in the dental field in Utah Valley. If you are looking for someone to help you, look no further. He is as good as they get! His office is state of the art. He has a machine that is unlike any I've ever seen. It's like getting an MRI for your tooth. Regular x-rays don't even come close! This is great when dealing with root anatomy and bone structure and helps get a quick and accurate diagnosis. It's unreal. He was able to see my tooth fractured all the way to the root in crazy amounts of detail. My advice would be don't wait to be referred to a specialist. I've personally had my root canal fail and seen many others at dental offices. He has retreated 2 root canals on me and found a completely missed accessory canal the first dentist had failed to find and cleaned it out. He was able to save my nephews tooth when his general dentist had advised it was too far gone and needed to be extracted. Save yourself the trouble and money, go see a specialist and do it right the first time. They've received years of extra training and are specialized for these certain types of problems. I know that even just the term root canal sounds scary, it doesn't have to be. Dr. Jenson will get you out of pain in no time. He is an expert when it comes to pain free dentistry, and gives the best shots I've ever had. (And I've had a lot) He is caring and wants what is best for the patient. Dr. Jenson is SO good at what he does. He is skilled, but also honest. You can trust that what he is telling you to do is the best plan of action. I feel fortunate to have him in the area and he is my endodontist for life! If you are in pain, or have heard you need a root canal from your dentist just call his office. I was referred to Dr. Jon Jenson at Cascade Endodontics by my periodontics specialist Dr. Ryan Edmunds. It was easy to get an appointment with them and after a short panoramic X-Ray, I was sitting with Dr. Jenson within minutes. He did a quick assessment of my X-Ray and then told me that he was going to do a root canal on my ailing tooth. He anesthetized the tooth area without any pain, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, and then came in to do the procedure. He ended up having to do 4 root canals in that tooth, with two roots that were intertwined and gave him a little bit of work. They drained the infection, put some local medicine and proceeded to seal the work. It took a little bit more than an hour, got some more local X-Rays to verify the work, and I was sent home with prescriptions for pain medicine and antibiotic. They told me that it would be rare if I need to take the antibiotic because the body would do its job of fighting the infection but that I would probably swell a little and have pain for 2-3 days. To my surprise, after the anesthetic wore out, I had little pain which a couple of ibuprofen pills (200mg) took care of. The tooth or area did never swell, I have not had any fever or problem, and the pain went away completely the following day. It was literally a 1 day hassle of a procedure! I am more than pleased with the results. Dr. Jenson and Cydney, his assistant, were terrific. They are definitely professionals at what they do and recommend them highly. I have to get a permanent replacement filling from my regular dentist to replace the temporary one they placed, but I will be getting that done in the next week. They were even kind enough to provide my dentist with all the results of my X-Rays so I didn't have to get new ones there. I have absolutely no trauma after the procedure and it was pretty much painless. Thank you, Cascade Endodontics! read more

I have to give a huge shout out to Dr. Jenson and his amazing staff. They are all so friendly and professional. I have been to their office twice and my assistants were Cydney and Shelly. Both of them are amazing. They were easy to talk to and very competent in their job. Their front office staff is great too. I spoke with Ashley to schedule my appointment and she got me in quickly and within a time that worked for me. She was also quick to contact my insurance and let me know my portion for my procedure. The office really goes above and beyond! They educated me in what I needed to do before and after my procedure. I also loved that Shelly gave me an ice pack and chap stick after my procedure! Although I had a hard time finding my numb lip with the chap stick it was so nice and refreshing! I also thought I was going to have to buy and ice pack on my way home and I appreciate not having to go into the store with a numbed face! Dr. Jenson did a fantastic job on my procedure and I am beyond grateful I get to keep my tooth! The office has a great atmosphere and I love that everyone works so well together. My daughter needed oral surgery and Dr. Jenson came highly recommended. My daughter has tons of pain/needle anxiety so I was expecting a horrific experience, no matter how skilled the doc and staff were. When we arrived the staff warmly welcomed us and we hung out in the super cute reception area (ps it had a really great selection of magazines-- pre COVID anyway.). The paperwork we filled out was a breeze and we didn't wait longer than a few moments. Once it was time for the procedure to take place, i was beyond impressed. Dr. Jenson did an amazing job making sure my daughter was at ease. The laughing gas and iPod with music worked nicely and before my daughter knew it, the procedure was done!!! Dr jenson and his staff were super thorough explaining the post-op care we needed to give my daughter to make sure she healed properly. He called that night to check in. A few days later i called him concerned about some discomfort she was having and he quickly offered to see her and then called in some medication to help fight a potential infection . The meds did the trick super fast and we are just so grateful for Dr.Jenson's speedy response!! I'd just like to know how to give a 10 star rating! I've been referred to Dr. Jenson by my regular dentist for root canals on multiple occasions, including an emergency Saturday visit. Yup, Dr. Jenson showed up to save the day. I'm very happy to say without hesitation that Dr. Jenson was the perfect match for this patient with a long history of dental anxiety. He is fabulous and a perfectionist in skill and knowledge, but also is deeply concerned and empathetic for each patient and their comfort. I appreciate the time he takes to explain the problem, options for treatment and his recommendation. Throughout the procedure time is taken to ask if you feel pain. If you're feeling pain while having a root canal with Dr. Jenson it's on you, not him. ;) I've found the entire staff at Cascade Endodontics to be equally dedicated to excellent patient care. Dr. Jensen is an absolute life-saver! I went to Utah for a family reunion a couple of weekends ago and woke up one morning around 4 with excruciating tooth pain. After going to the ER and then back to my hotel with a Penicillin prescription for an abscessed tooth, I (luckily) happened to get in to see Dr. Jenson on a Saturday (the last day of the reunion) and I was in and out within an hour! I've had 3 root canals and this was honestly basically pain-free, including the shots! I got to go back to the reunion and enjoy the rest of the day with my family (again, WITHOUT any pain)! He was truly happy to help me, even though he had to come in on a Saturday. And his assistant was so patient and calm, she put me at ease and made sure I felt comfortable and on the same page with everything that was going on. Also, the office was impeccable! Tooth pain is THE WORST! Dr. Jenson and his staff are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do and it is evident from the moment you enter their facility. The staff greet you, utilize technology to gather your personal data, then seat you comfortably in a chair and offer you headphones and music to make you at ease with the procedure. The professionalism and attention to detail by Dr. Jenson and each of his staff that assisted in my care is unparalleled. While root canals are not known to be fun, it is at least comforting to know that there are individuals who strive to deliver an experience free from pain or worry. Dr Jensen and his staff were fantastic. My tooth was aching after a filling by my dentist. It was unbearable. His front desk called me back quickly after leaving a message and got me in for a consult the next day. Upon arrival I was introduced to Renee who was like a concierge to help me with the entire process as well as be Dr Jensen's assistant. They were so understanding of the pain I was in and after it was confirmed that I did need a root canal they fit me in that day. Dr Jensen was thorough, professional and kind. I had such a great experience at Cascade Endodontics! This was my first time getting a root canal done. I had been in so much pain and had a lot of anxiety over getting the work done. As soon as I walked into their beautiful office space, I was greeted by Jamie. She is an absolute ray of sunshine and helped me get checked in and all ready to go. Next I was helped by Jess who did all of my X-rays and assisted in the RC. She was so sweet and personable. Dr. Jenson is amazing. I'm usually a baby about getting my teeth worked on, but Dr. Jenson managed to take care of my 4 much needed root canals all at once with practically no pain at all. He was extremely informative and let me know what was happening and what to expect. I considered being put under for the two hours but decided to save the extra money and just do the usual shots, and I'm glad I did. It was so painless I didn't need anything else. Operation was pain free - didn't need pain killers ever after walking out. Doctor was very professional and I felt like he did a very good job on my tooth, which had a bit of an S-curve. Staff was very courteous, and offered Pandora music with excellent noise cancelling headphones during the operation - the channel it was on was an excellent choice.
