I still 100% stand by my overall review of this business in that my experience has been a good one. I do think that every business, no matter how hard they try, will have some some issues on occasion. What really matters is how a business responds to those issues. For me, I didn't feel that my concerns were heard and understood when I initially mentioned that I'd had a bad experience. Laying in a dentist or orthodontist chair really puts a person in a very vulnerable position and that can make the feeling of being treated poorly even more intense. As I mentioned, I had a chance to speak directly with Dr. Horsley, who apologized that I had such an experience. He emphasized how important it is to him personally that every person who walks through his door feels happy and valued. But, most importantly, he took the time to listen to my concerns, which is all I wanted. I didn't just want a gift card thrown at me. I wanted someone to take the time to really listen to why I was upset and to do something to try to insure that it didn't happen to someone else. Which, he assured me, that the issue has been addressed and that they have a training retreat coming up and that it will again be addressed. THAT is something I want to hear. I don't want anyone else to feel the same way I felt the last time I walked out of the business. As for my visit, I was seen within a week of my last visit. The glue issue was taken care of quickly and efficiently. They took another impression for a new night retainer, just in case smoothing the glue didn't help the issues I was having with the old one since my last visit. In general, the visit was a good experience like my other experiences have been. There really isn't much to be said about the visit on its own; however, I feel like since I had a negative experience and that the issue was addressed, that an update with that information and how I felt about it is absolutely necessary to give a complete review. It's just as important for people to read and understand how a business addresses negative issues just as much as it is important to hear about the initial experience. I do think that Horsley Orthodontics is very serious about learning from any negative experience so that they can continue to provide stellar customer service to their patients. For someone who may have a negative experience with this business, I would suggest asking to speak with Dr. Horsley directly to address any concerns. My impression, from my own personal experience, is that he is highly dedicated to making sure his patients are completely happy with their experiences.

Dr. Rouse said he could recommend other orthodontists, but likes the quality of Dr. Taylor. Dr. Taylor is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. You can tell that he definitely knows his stuff. He lays things out very plain to understand. I feel very comfortable and confident working with him. His assistant, Keri, is extremely friendly and cheerful. Offered me bottled water while I waited in the observation room. Going out the door, Keri said to take some chocolate, which I did take a couple of Milky Ways. :-) I, along with Dr. Rouse, would recommend Dr. Taylor. (So far, that is. I haven't started treatment yet. When it does, I'll update this review.) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Now in my mid 30s, my teeth were shifting and my bite on my right side was off. I decided to check out another ortho who recommended jaw surgery--what a shock! I did not feel good at all about getting jaw surgery and left that office getting ideas in my head about what else is wrong with my face. My husband was livid when I told him about possibility of getting jaw surgery lol! I remembered that one of my coworkers mentioned he had similar issue about needing jaw surgery with a different ortho and was able to do his treatment just with braces at Dr Graham so I scheduled a consult there. Dr. Graham and his team are very detailed oriented in evaluating your treatment plan. Everyone is so friendly and nice! I also like the convenience of filling out patient forms and insurance info all on my phone. His office offers a variety of ortho products, it is not like the traditional braces where you stick rubber bands to secure the brackets. For comparison, the other ortho said my total treatment time would take 24 months, including the surgery with regular braces. With Dr. Graham, my treatment would require a motion appliance and Invisalign for 12-18 months. That is a huge difference! Go see several orthos and compare because they are not all the same. I just left Graham Ortho office feeling so happy and know I'll be in good hands and receiving great care. I can't wait to start my treatment soon!!

Now, one day taking time off work and school was becoming two, instead of rescheduling us to begin with. My family is busy for the next couple weeks, as I assume many are. This was so unacceptable to the person scheduling that she slammed the door to go checking for options. No options. I asked the receptionist if there was someone I could speak with who makes decisions, like a manager. She starts telling me because of the long weekend... OK, I'm not concerned about excuses but who I need to talk to. She begins telling me my usage of excuses is wrong.
