I'm leaving another updated review because I did get in to get the glue on the permanent retainer…read morefixed and I had the opportunity to speak directly with Dr. Horsley concerning the unfortunate issue I had on my last visit, which I detailed in my last updated review. I still 100% stand by my overall review of this business in that my experience has been a good one. I do think that every business, no matter how hard they try, will have some some issues on occasion. What really matters is how a business responds to those issues. For me, I didn't feel that my concerns were heard and understood when I initially mentioned that I'd had a bad experience. Laying in a dentist or orthodontist chair really puts a person in a very vulnerable position and that can make the feeling of being treated poorly even more intense. As I mentioned, I had a chance to speak directly with Dr. Horsley, who apologized that I had such an experience. He emphasized how important it is to him personally that every person who walks through his door feels happy and valued. But, most importantly, he took the time to listen to my concerns, which is all I wanted. I didn't just want a gift card thrown at me. I wanted someone to take the time to really listen to why I was upset and to do something to try to insure that it didn't happen to someone else. Which, he assured me, that the issue has been addressed and that they have a training retreat coming up and that it will again be addressed. THAT is something I want to hear. I don't want anyone else to feel the same way I felt the last time I walked out of the business. As for my visit, I was seen within a week of my last visit. The glue issue was taken care of quickly and efficiently. They took another impression for a new night retainer, just in case smoothing the glue didn't help the issues I was having with the old one since my last visit. In general, the visit was a good experience like my other experiences have been. There really isn't much to be said about the visit on its own; however, I feel like since I had a negative experience and that the issue was addressed, that an update with that information and how I felt about it is absolutely necessary to give a complete review. It's just as important for people to read and understand how a business addresses negative issues just as much as it is important to hear about the initial experience. I do think that Horsley Orthodontics is very serious about learning from any negative experience so that they can continue to provide stellar customer service to their patients. For someone who may have a negative experience with this business, I would suggest asking to speak with Dr. Horsley directly to address any concerns. My impression, from my own personal experience, is that he is highly dedicated to making sure his patients are completely happy with their experiences.

I absolutely love this office. Dr. Payne is awesome and so is Dt. Streiff. I was a little hesitant seeing anyone other than Payne but he was great and I started seeing him for my appointments exclusively towards the end of my treatment. The only way it was possible for 4 of us to have braces is their amazing in house financing. They are so flexible and make it actually affordable to get braces.

My braces have been on for 4 months and already my bite is better and my teeth are straighter! The staff is just friendly and fun. They have little contests for their patients during the holidays or on social media. Dr. Omana sure has a sense of humor. But I also like that he told me straight up honest that he knew he could fix some of the teeth issues, but might not be able to fix all of them. I appreciated his honesty and forthrightness. The facility in SoJo is always clean and looks tidy. This is a must for me, especially since they work on my teeth. You know that smell when you walk into the dentist office? You know the smell, right? The one that makes you swallow and get ready for pain on a subconscious level? I am not going to pretend they do not have it, because they do. But really, as long as you follow the orthodontist rules about keeping your teeth cleaned, flossed regularly, and don't eat the foods he tells you not to eat, you will sail through having braces!!
