Just moved to Utah in November. Our realtor recommended Dr. Hansen so we decided to give them a try. We have been extremely happy so far.

Excellent quality and Dr. Hansen is cost conscious. He is a great dentist. We have gone there for years and will keep on going.

I used to be deathly afraid to go to the dentist, but Clayton Hansen has eased all of my fears and I no longer feel the anxiety that I once did.

I came in for a teeth cleaning, x-rays, and check-up, and I received excellent service. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and professional, and their technology is state of the art. I feel like I'm in very good hands here!

Being 23 and having no risk factors, I politely declined. I was then told it wasn't optional and all patients had to get this x-ray that wasn't completely covered by insurance and earned the clinic $300 a pop. This is dishonest to try and force people to get a scan. I tried declining again and was told I had to do it for "legal reasons." It seems there's no worry about the legality of a procedure that's "not optional" and only a concern about saving the dentist from getting sued no matter how much extra radiation it takes. It wasn't until I said no 3 different times that the hygienist agreed to postpone the scan until "next time." I wouldn't be surprised if they've forced many people to get this scan who don't really want it but don't feel like no is an option. This is a huge problem for informed consent. Several weeks later they told me my experience was untrue and they scan only costs $42 (??) and didn't mention anything about how they'd tried forcing me to get the scan during my visit. As a patient it feels very deceiving to be told by your dentist office that what they told you while you were there wasn't actually true and they were just overcharging the "real" price. It also feels very deceiving to be told the American Dental Association recommends every patient pay for a panoramic x-ray every 3 years and then not be able to find evidence of this recommendation anywhere on the ADA website. It feels even more deceiving when the recommendation you find on the ADA website is in fact nearly opposite of what your dentist says it is. Even if a dentist decides they would like to have their own schedule of routine imaging, it is frightening when they fight against a patient declining a service. I would be wary of trusting what they tell you at this dentist office.

She is rude and if Dr. Noot weren't so amazing I'd go somewhere else just because of her. Julie yells at her customers and hangs up on them. She is a b****! Stay out of her way. Dr. Noot backs up her disrespectful behavior and doesn't protect his patients from her so I feel need to warn the public. Also they are way, way overpriced. You can get the same biomimetic work done elsewhere for way cheaper. No one should have to deal with someone like Julie for any price. Unfortunately I'm likely going to have to file a BBB claim against them because of Julie's actions and her failure to follow through with what she said she would do. I lined their pockets with $3,000 of work and they treated me like total crap.

Sadly I was very disappointed in my overall care and office staff shortcomings…read more I was given an inaccurate "patient portion" expected to be paid at time of service. I was told by different staff members ....3 different quotes within a weeks time. They were varying $100-$175 difference and the cost kept going up, so by the day of services, I was very confused and didn't know what amount I was actually paying. There is some kind of tiny beetle infestation in this office. One came out of the magazine I tried to look through that was provided in the waiting area, and one was crawling on me as I left the office. I was hurt very badly by the doctor durning the Novocain injections. I cried it was so painful! I asked for gas, but was told that was an extra $55. I felt this clinic cared very little for patient care or comfort. The Office Manager did call me and try to make things right for me, so I do appreciate that.

My general dentist mentioned I would be needing a root canal on one of my teeth. I was not in pain but I waited a bit too long before getting it taken care of and it grew into an infection that made my cheek swell and my inner upper gumline bulge. I got put on an anabiotic by my GD and saw Canyon Creek a few days later. They were very nice and straightforward explaining everything. As any root canal it did take some time, but I was surprised that he was able to work around the bulge and the drain (of the infection/puss)during the procedure. He was able to get it done without having me come back after the infection drained. I didn't want to have to come back for another visit as my schedule is pretty strict. So this was the perfect scenario for me. He numbed me up and went to town. Making sure I was comfortable and suctioning behind the balloon frequently. All in all I could have not been more comfortable. They gave me a call the next day to make sure I was doing OK. I am unable to take Advil or ibuprofen because I am on blood thinners so the doctor prescribed me a different anti-inflammatory and I was able to pick that up from the pharmacy. The bulge went down pretty much right away after the procedure. Great experience, hope the work holds up and I won't loose my tooth.
