Clayton M. Hansen - General Dentistry Near Me - American Fork, Utah

Another 5 star review. Best dentist I have ever had in my entire life! I really appreciate Dr Hansen. Love this guy!

Honest, extremely knowledgable + warm friendly bedside manner - this describes everyone from the front desk, dental assistant & Dr. Hansen himself. Hansen took the time to fully explain my situation and options. I felt he authentically cared for me as a person vs my wallet. He & his staff have deservedly earned my trust. read more

Our family has been going to Dr. Hansen for several years. When our kids were little they loved going to "the funny dentist" read more

Excellent dentist!!! So caring and through. The office gals and hygienists are also excellent.

Really great office staff, they greet you by name when you come in. Hygienists are thorough and very knowledgeable. Assistants seem to cycle in and out a lot, like there's a high turnover, but that seems to be an industry problem. Dr Hansen is the best at practical/don't break the bank, while still striving to give you a beautiful smile. He did however tell me at my check up to stop drinking soda, so I seriously considered dropping a star.. All in all, do yourself a favor and go to Dr Hansens office. read more

His care for my husband has been stellar! Dr Hansen is always trying to do his best for my husband, when presented with a mess of issues from prior work, from other dentists. He presents all the options he feels will provide the result needed at an affordable cost. His staff is helpful and delightful to work with! Thank you all! read more

Just moved to Utah in November. Our realtor recommended Dr. Hansen so we decided to give them a try. We have been extremely happy so far.

First visit to Dr. Hansen's this morning and what a great way to start the week. My hygienist, Beth-Ann, was awesome - friendly, thorough and gentle. Dr. Hansen was also friendly, informative and even a bit funny! We had been traveling back to NV for dental care for the last 5 years, but just found out local dentist from now on. Thank you to the whole team! read more

I had two crowns inserted this week. One fit with a little more gap than expected, and the doctor was nice enough to explain that while it may be a little inconveniencing to have to return a day later to fix the crown, it is better in the long run to send the crown back to have more material added to it on one side as there's enough space between the crown and the next teeth, that I would have food caught there regularly. He also explained all the decisions he made as he went along. I got a call the same day that the crown was ready, and they accommodated my request to come in the following day. They added a little more material than required (the doctor already mentioned that's likely) so it took a few insertion/removal and shaving off some material to get the crown to fit just right. Thanks! read more

Excellent quality and Dr. Hansen is cost conscious. He is a great dentist. We have gone there for years and will keep on going.

My wife and I recently moved to Utah from the East Coast.. My wife had started a dental implant in New York but it was going to be too soon to have the second part of the dental implant procedure while still in NY, so we had to choose a dentist in Utah, and one preferably somewhat close to Lehi Utah. Long story short a realtor we were to work with gave us a recommendation but after checking tons of reviews his dentist just didn't appeal to me with so many reviews stating the same issue that often his dentist seemed to want to sell what turned out in many reviews to be, unnecessary treatments to make more $$. In any case I looked and looked and I found Dr Hansen and I'm so happy we did. From my very first contact with his office, and how friendly and informative his staff was, esp a nice person named Chyanne, I'm prob misspelling her name, I had a good feeling we made the right choice. Anyway my novel aside, my wife saw Dr Hansen twice to finish up the implant and she told me how super gentle and nice Dr Hansen was, and most importantly he did an AMAZING 100% pain free job. She showed me the tooth he replaced and I can't tell within two inches away. Turns out my dental insurance I had on the East Coast doesn't work out of NY so even cost wise, Dr Hansen's office is helping us out a bit with a discount that they didn't HAVE to do. When it's time for me to have some dental work done this is the place I'll be going to. Very satisfied... Also on a side note, the whole office is spotless as to being clean and new looking! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Clayton Hansen for 10 years. I moved out of the area and I still drive over an hour to see him. I tried going to other dentists closer to me and they always tell me I have a cavity or cavities. He does not diagnose a cavity unless there really is one there and if it is not too bad and you want to try, he will give you a chance to remineralize a tooth. He doesn't like to drill teeth full of holes just to make money as is so common these days. They are excellent about giving discounts to cash paying self-pay customers. They've always gone out of their way to schedule me when it is convenient for me. Great dentist. read more

I love this office! The receptionists are phenomenal . Best I have ever had and I love how they take care of you. Dr. Hanson is an amazing dentist, my tooth broke and he took me in quick and he made my crown right there the same day . I didn't have to go back to the office, he did an excellent job. He cares about my health and my teeth. Excellent office I would recommend it to everyone! read more

Dr. Hansen is really thorough and honest. He's great with kids too! And my hygienist was seriously the most gentle hygienist I've ever had! I could actually relax during my cleaning instead of bracing for my gums to be poked painfully. Doesn't hurt that my husband, me, and all four kids had no cavities. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this Dentist. read more

Dr Clayton Hansen was a godsend to me and my dental needs. It was about 20 years ago that I was fed up with the family dentist and ventured out on my own to find someone knew Clayton was reccommended to me from a good friend and I have since reccommended him to everyone else. I drive from Orem to AF to see him. He has saved sooo many of my teeth. I have poor weak teeth but he is always willing to watch a tooth instead of drilling everything. He has done several successful root canals and fillings on my teeth. He has given me awesome advice on how to go about strengthening my teeth and gums and it has helped tremendously. He has seen me for emergency visits, helped me when in extreme pain and if needed he gets me into the specialists In a timely manner. Clayton's office is comfortable and up to date. His staff is so sweet and sincere. He is ever so willing to work with you on financial problems and is all about saving you money if he can. I really am so grateful I made the switch years ago and have never regretted it. read more
