I love Dr Hansen and his staff! They're the best. I had a filling fall out last night and texted them around 8:30 on a Saturday. Shocked and pleased to get a quick response and an appointment scheduled right away on Tuesday (Monday being labor day); they told me I could call if I had any pain, but I'm feeling good. In the last two weeks, I've had two infected teeth, and they helped me get in, get set up with an endodontist for root canals, and made me a beautiful, permanent crown while I was there in the office for the appointment. Finally, they also did my two veneers on my front teeth (which I broke years ago in the pool). Those veneers look awesome. Dr. Hansen has the best dad-humor and is so warm, and his staff is so welcoming. I could not recommend him enough. As long as I'm living in Utah, and he is practicing, he will be my dentist. read more

I had two crowns inserted this week. One fit with a little more gap than expected, and the doctor was nice enough to explain that while it may be a little inconveniencing to have to return a day later to fix the crown, it is better in the long run to send the crown back to have more material added to it on one side as there's enough space between the crown and the next teeth, that I would have food caught there regularly. He also explained all the decisions he made as he went along. I got a call the same day that the crown was ready, and they accommodated my request to come in the following day. They added a little more material than required (the doctor already mentioned that's likely) so it took a few insertion/removal and shaving off some material to get the crown to fit just right. I've been a patient of Dr. Hansen for many years and have had only good experiences with he and his staff. He is chairside manners, he askes question about your dental needs and and concerns. He is very easy to listen to and allows you to make decisions of what you him to do for you. He is very concerned about you pain tolerance while he is doing his work and that is a real plus. I usually don't rank a person a 5, but , Dr. Hansen has had my trust and needs zeroed in and has proven his reliability for my best interest, therefore he deserves, in my book, a ten out of ten. read more

I chipped a tooth. :( To my relief Dr Clayton Hansen was able to build it up (what was left of it!) and put on a crown. I was in awe with how smoothly everything went. I hardly felt a thing. With our previous dentist, any dental work was a long painful process. Dr Hansen turned our families dreaded visits to the dentist to be a positive experiences. I was at Dr. Hansen's office last week for a cleaning but got there late. First visit to his office at the recommendation of my orthodontist because I wanted to change my general dentist. He still attended to me (initial look at my dentition and recommendations on some things I may want fixed), but the cleaning had to be postponed to this week (yesterday). Abby (hope I got the spelling right) attended to me, and I can honestly say it is the best cleaning I have had since coming to Utah some 3.5 years ago. I had an incredible experience at Dr. Hansen's, I've always been somewhat tongue tied and he was able to cut my frenum with his laser without giving me a shot. It didn't hurt and still doesn't. Today is the next day and my tongue feels fine (yesterday it felt like a pizza burn under my tongue, not bad at all). I can stick my tongue out further than I ever have. The procedure took a minute, maybe less. It was awesome! I don't have a cavity but if I did he said he could likely fix the cavity without giving me a shot, so cool! read more

I have been going to Dr Hansen for a few years now. He is conservative and very thoughtful about what he does and does not do. I have had veiners for the last 37 years of my life and he suggested a few years ago that it was time for new ones. I finally decided that I agreed with him. He was thoughtful about the direction he took, what we ended up doing and the end product is amazing.
