I went there from the UK May 2024 to try solve a mystery toothache I'd had since March 2020. I explained fully to them the issue was my UL6 First molar. That was clear. I'd had throbbing pain/ salty taste leaking out for all those years and needed to know if the tooth should be extracted or could be saved, is it dying or they just diagnose what is going on with it. They did CBCT scan, full assessment, pocket depths for all teeth. Bone density checks and 'cold test' to check vitality. I was informed that I in fact had a cavitation in the area before that molar, due to a pre molar extraction as a child for braces. They offered to do the cavitation surgery the next day, however I had travelled from the uk and it was a shock to hear this so I decided to try get it done closer to home. Dr Jorgensen and I decided on Dr Dominic in Germany. I came home, finally did the cavitation surgery and am now 9 weeks post surgery. The UL6 issue/toothaxhe/pain/salt taste I still have as that was NOT addressed. I emailed TCD to ask Dr Jorgensen to please recheck my scan and have another look at the UL6 molar as I still had the exact same symptoms I came over to Utah with in May. I then received an email saying there was something suspicious with that tooth! Well maybe you should have said that back in MAY when I flew on from the UK to see you about THAT TOOTH! She told me all the teeth were fine, just a Cavitation in the jawbone between the first pre molar and that UL6 molar I then receive a sarcastic email from Shannon saying that I'd initially gone to the clinic with an issue of 'pieces' of my jaw falling out of my mouth?!? Are you actually for real Shannon? When did I say that? That's the most insane thing I've ever heard. I came with long-standing TOOTHACHE & SALT taste from my UL MOLAR. Where you pulled this ridiculous story from, I'm not sure, but it's a hell of a thing to say when it's not true. Then she states that I only complained about the UL6 molar when I emailed them last month. NO Shannon I actually flew on 2 flights to UTAH for THAT TOOTH! Why else would I be there except to try and resolve toothache I'd had since March 2020 with that tooth. I'm absolutely appalled by this situation and will be taking this further and reporting them to the relevant authorities I don't care that I'm in the UK, I'll do it. I stupidly believed the hype on Dr Jorgensens Instagram and put my faith in this clinic to fly there from the uk to try and get to the bottom of a nightmare 4 years + toothache in my UL6 area. Now they are saying they didn't check the vitality of that tooth. Utter rubbish! I was in the chair when Michelle did the COLD TEST on that tooth and it took forever to feel anything because it's likely a dead/dying tooth!!! I was sent away with no resolution for the problem I came with. Yes there was a distance issue, however I had 2 hours in that office checking that tooth and now they're wriggling their way out of it by saying they didn't check that tooth! If they'd had said this tooth needs extracting, I'd have happily let them take it out, instead they told me the tooth is fine. I don't have any other tooth issues, so of course that's the tooth I flew over to UTAH to get a thorough check of. Disgraceful gaslighting from a clinic that have completely fabricated something which I never said happened. Why on earth would I say pieces of jaw are falling out? Falling out from where? Do you realise how insane that sounds to accuse me of saying this? Why the hell would I say I had pieces of my jaw coming out of my mouth when I came with TOOTHACHE. Avoid this clinic. I'm disgusted how I'm being treated. They want no accountability whatsoever and have made up the most ridiculous story. They have a great waiting room for them and they always get a prize token to use in the toy machines when they are done. They magically put our kids at ease whenever they clean and fill cavities. We have had both Searle and Murdock but only Searle takes our type of insurance now. I don't get nervous going because they manage the pain and prices are reasonable with our insurance. We recommend both highly.

It would have been nice if they could have figured out their mistake before I had to make two trips, but I'm glad to have the issue resolved.

I told her about their online statement saying this was a place we could call for a dental emergency in Utah and she had no idea what I was talking about. I even read her the phone number which was the office number and she wasn't even sure it was their own number. Office staff needs to be trained on what services they offer and if you only take clients with specific insurances and certain coverages fine, but please list that in your website and included in your "Emergency dentist" ad to avoid wasting time.
