I understand now when I put my apron on and found 3 empty nips in the pocket why this happened. Clearly the person that wore it before me had been before and paid too much! The experience was somewhat fun, though, with a huge variety of beads to choose from -- almost too much, to the point where it felt like bead-induced stress. You're mostly paying for the experience since the bracelet itself wasn't very durable; my friend's bracelet broke a few days after, and mine did too. I felt disappointed since I wanted something my friend and I could hold on to for a long time (ESPECIALLY since we both spent so much time making it!). Would I splurge on another bracelet-making adventure at Crafts Zone? Probably not. I'd rather not pay top dollar for something that fragile.

There was an exhibit of local artist Daphne Confor's wonderful portrait art, blues bands, a generous spread of free pizza and snacks, and a cash bar with cans of beer etc. I had never heard of Milton Art Center before. Apparently they have classes as well. Fun event in a beautiful old public library building.
