It's amazing here! My BF and I came on a Monday and was able to walk right in without a reservation. The space is not huge, but they have several rooms for different crafts depending on which one you choose. We chose to do decoden and they have a whole wall of charms to choose from. Everything is provided for you to complete your project (charms, decoden, piping bags &tips). The staff is super nice and patient in showing you tips and tricks to help you complete your project. You can stay there as long as you want as long as there isn't a queue of ppl waiting or crowd. The only con is that it is quite pricey for these projects. You pay for item that you decorate but the charms are unlimited. Be prepared to spend a few hrs here because choosing the charms itself took us awhile because there was so many to choose from! If you want a bigger charm or specialty charm there is a slight upcharge for that as well ($3-$5). My brush cost $30 & phone stand $50. Even though it's pricey I'd still come here to try the other crafts.

I had an awesome time here! The people that work here are so nice and attentive. They are very helpful to guide you through your project and make sure you have everything you need. They have so many projects you can do and you can walk through the studio to see all the different kinds of stations and the supplies that they have. We chose to do decoden crafts which is piping silicone decorations onto an object of your choice. I chose to decoden a claw clip but now that I try on the claw clip the clip is not good quality and it doesn't hold my hair well at all. Its just gonna sit as a piece of decoration now. They have lots of charms and materials available for you but we wanted a light pink silicone and they didn't have that available. Some of the silicones were also dried out and not available to use. We enjoyed our time decorating and it was a super peaceful and relaxing process. I had a good time and I will definitely be back to try more projects! Now that I been here once I have a better idea of what I want to do and how I can better execute my projects.

I booked a room for a small birthday party where you can have cake and pizza. There's an online form. I called and they were able to answer any of my questions. It's best to choose one or two projects for your party. We chose candle making and decoden cream but we ended up just doing decoden cream as there were more price options and you can get more creative w/choosing your own themes, colors, and project type. We made a phone case, phone stand and hand mirrors. It takes a bit of time to select your theme because there's so many charms, figurines and colors to choose from. Then times to place the decoden cream, place charms etc and dry project. The staff answered any and all questions. Took our group picture and allowed us plenty of time to eat and do our projects. They have a stamp card too for every project you do. They have other projects there too such as design your own tote, string art, texture painting, zero gravity tufting, punch needling, turkish lamp, puzzle painting, fluid art, decoupage lamps, mosaic art and many other things. Overall a fun unique experience!

Crafts Zone Studio is located in Brookline - hidden in a corner that might require you to look closely. My friend and I made a reservation on a Saturday afternoon for 1 hour ($10/person). When we arrived, the entrance door was closed so we were confused for a second until we knocked on the door. As soon as you walked in, you might feel like you have entered a playground full of cuteness. The staff checked us in and set up a working station for us. Then we were free to walk around the studio to check things out. Project: The project we chose was decoden cream crafting - there are 20 options that you can select, ranging from a $9.99+ mystery box to a $79.99 acrylic bag. Decoden cream crafting is the concept of using a type of silicone that looks like whipped cream along with various trinkets/decorations to decorate an object of your choice. Since this is the first time for both of us, we decided to decorate a keychain ($25.99). Atmosphere: The atmosphere and interior design gave off a very therapeutic and calm vibe. It's a nice place to destress. Depending on the craft activity you choose, you would be seated in your respective "zone" - e.g., tufting zone, decoden cream crafting zone, candle-making zone, etc. Everyone was respectful, quiet, and focused on whatever craft activity they were doing. Parking: Depending on the time/day you come, you should be able to find street parking. If you prefer a parking lot, one option is to find a parking lot nearby or in Allston and take a bus (~10 min ride if you parked in Allston). Overall experience: All in all, I would say this is a cool experience to try out if you are interested in doing arts & crafts in a studio setting solo or with a group of friends. Personally, given the pricing, I probably won't come back.

I had a great time making a decoden phone stand! I came on a Saturday at 12 PM with a reservation. It was not too busy. The staff was helpful and very nice. There were many charms to choose from and colors for the deco cream. Great place for a solo date!

A smooth, white bear-shaped figurine with rounded ears, limbs, and a body, but lacking facial features or other details. It stands upright on a wooden surface with a blurred background, and appears to be made of a matte material, possibly ceramic or plastic.

We came in a Sunday at 12. The staff was helpful in explaining our options of craft projects. We went with Fuild art goomy bear and painting cup. The staff helped us along the whole process. The active take about 1-2 hours to do. Definitely worth a try

Checkin - The image shows the interior of a craft studio with a white ceiling and walls. A black fridge with a glass door is positioned next to a small counter, which has various small items on top. The wall behind features a detailed line drawing of a shelf filled with jars, bottles, and decorative objects, resembling a real shelf. To the right, there is a door with a poster attached, and a black stool with a stack of papers or magazines on it. The floor has a wood-like pattern, and part of a white table with a checkered edge is visible in the foreground.

At the corner of Harvard St near Coolidge Corner, a great location for a craft studio. I made a reservation to come with a friend on Friday night for 2 hours ($10/hour/person). The checkin process was a bit awkward as I wanted to do pearler beads and my friend wanted to make a candle. The lady checking us in said it wasn't allowed because they were in different rooms, but went to check with someone else and came back to say it was okay. The building has multiple different rooms for crafts including candle making, fluid art, painting, and rug tufting. We went into the candle making room and they asked my friend to pick which candle she wanted to make. The worker brought in the pearler bead cart and told me to go scan the QR code to watch the instruction video. I go to scan the code and there's no video for pearler beads. I asked if I could make 2 small keychains, which they responded to if you have enough time. On the other hand, my friend asked how much a candle with flowers on the side would cost and they responded by saying she can't make it because it's an advanced candle. As my friend started the candle making process, it was confusing as the instructions were in Celsius, but the thermometer and verbal instructions were in Fahrenheit. I started working on my pearler beads and made 2 small keychains on one board. When I finished I told the worker to have them iron it. One came out fine, but the other one broke, so they asked me to remake it. I took some time to remake it and told the worker I was ready to iron, but yet again was messed up. The worker ended up remaking my keychain and had a different person iron it and it was very melted together. They offered us drinks while we waited and offered a discount. When I went to pay for the pearler beads, it was a bit confusing as it seemed like they were going to double charge me as I made 2 small keychains, but they put in for one and we're discussing the discount. They were going to give me the reservation charge back, but instead said I didn't need to pay since the total amount was around what I had paid for the studio fee. I was hoping for a better experience since they have been open for a while now, but it still looks like they have things to work on. Overall, I think this place is quite expensive and would rather buy a craft kit to do at home.

Felt like an overpriced kids birthday party venue. There are little zones for each craft, so if you and the people you're with want to do different things, you'll be doing them separately. Crafts are pretty expensive, so you're paying for the experience. That being said, the experience of candle making was terrible. The room was hot and the fragrance fumes gave us headaches. They melted wax on electric cooktops plugged into an extension cord trailing the floor - an absolute fire hazard, and twice while we were there the wax started smoking. The fragrances aren't labeled, so you have to sniff each one. The colors are hard to discern from the palette, and the bottles are mislabeled so it's useless anyways. Despite paying $48 for a candle, they want to limit you to one drop of color for a large candle. The other crafts seemed equally expensive and lame, except maybe using the yarn gun to make a rug, but be aware they take 6-12 HOURS to complete. I will probably not return and would not recommend.

I had fun creating a gloomy bear. Book your reservations in advance for an hour time slot. Then go back in about three days to retrieve your work of art. It's a BYOB establishment. The staff are friendly, there's plenty of arts and crafts activities to do. Metered street parking available on Harvard Street ($1.25 an hour).

We are not creative or artistic at all, so this was the perfect date night doing fluid art. They had ton of choices for the figurines and sizes. Recommended for dates and/or with group of friends.

When you go in there are a ton of items on the wall to choose from, which have a base price. Some of them can be quite pricey but there are also some solid options that are $20 or less. I got this cute mushroom bird feeder that I plan to use for jewelry (I believe it was around $20?). Once you start paying there is a rate per hour that is charged on top of that item price. I will say that the studio has a very zen and relaxing vibe... until I remembered I was being charged per hour HA. There are stencils and a variety of colors to use for your artwork. I loved the stencil books because they helped so much, especially with the time constraint. When you're done with your piece they estimate about 7 days before it is ready for pickup. The staff were all super kind and helpful and the place itself was kept tidy. Overall, I had a great experience there with my friend and would go again. BONUS: I don't live in the area anymore and my friend dropped the ball on picking up our artwork. I recently went back to visit and since I was right across the street I decided to try my luck and see if my piece was there, and it was! I painted my mushroom bird feeder in December 2024 and it was still there 5 months later in May! AMAZINNGGGGG, really made my day.
