The Quincy Artsfest has established itself as one of the finest family oriented art and photography shows in Massachusetts, and it is one a the few things left to do in town that is free! They have 4 different art exhibits, childrens' workshops, entertainment, and craft sales. It's usually held two weeks after Labor Day, and it is a fun place to take the kids! Unethical Billing Practices & Transcript Withholding - BEWARE…read more I attended Quincy College years ago and recently requested my transcript for an important career opportunity. To my shock, they are charging me for a summer course I never attended, claiming I was present despite having no records or recollection of ever enrolling. The professor insists I was there, yet I know for a fact I never took the class. Now, Quincy College is refusing to release my transcript, effectively holding my education hostage over a false charge from seven years ago. Instead of helping resolve the issue, they've been dismissive and unhelpful, pushing me to dispute it with a professor rather than addressing their own records. This kind of careless administration and unethical billing is completely unacceptable. If you're considering Quincy College, be extremely cautious--they may charge you for classes you never took and block access to your own academic records. I'll be escalating this to the Attorney General's office and legal action if necessary. No school should operate this way. Avoid Quincy College if you value transparency and fairness.

Student sprayed them, grabbed the scissors and in one fell swoop cut OFF my bangs!! Two inches ABOVE the eyebrows - I look like a fool. It will take until November for my bangs to grow back. The manager came over and tried to "fix" it, and the student apologized, but the hair had already been cut off. It looks like a child who played "hairdresser" with a friend and it went left. Never going back again. If only he had had the manager do the bang trim, or did it a little at a time. My boyfriend laughed that they "butchered" me.

The art teacher is very knowledgeable and helped me feel confident in creating arts and crafts. The art teacher is very patient, kind, and helpful. She made art and crafts seem very do-able with every learner that participates in the activities. The interior is very uniquely designed where each wall and space has its own character. The location is very easy to get to via public transit and there are parking spots on the streets. I highly recommend this art studio for a date night or family activity!

I wasn't comfortable leaving him so hung back and helped out. One mom dropped off a kid who needed a bit extra help settling in and the teacher was visibly annoyed with him. Just not the type of place that's warm, inviting or inspiring . I took art in Eastern Europe throughout my childhood and the teaches commanded the room. This was basically overpriced babysitting. Hoping it's just this one class. Going to try a different school a go.
