Oscar was fantastic! We'll be back. We ordered an enchilada and a chimichanga, both were very tasty.Big portions of meat in both entrées.

I love this place, food is great puerile are amazing. Menudo 7days a week and cold beer. Haven't been for live music YET but it's in my list. All in all this place is the best of its kind, no matter time or day it wh you order you will not be disappointed read more

Loved this place! Service was great and the food was delicious! The only complaint would have to be the relatively small variety on the lunch menu. We ended up getting two meals and 3 tacos between the three of us and we all had left overs! read more

Chicken fried steak breakfast was great! Our waiter, Oscar was very attentive, asking how everything was, and refilling our beverages without us having to wait. We recommend Cantina Azteca for a great family meal. read more

I eat here regularly. Fantastic, friendly service, feels like home. Love the breakfast menu!

Great food and service! We come here regularly. Ambiance is great. Oscar is the best!

Good food, reasonable prices, right in my neighborhood, and Mariachi music on weekends.

Not sure why we've never tried this place before as it it quite close to home. After losing and finding my phone after a Ike ride to Sarah ct park we were starved for some food and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. the menu had plenty of breakfast as well as Lunch and dinner options Along with a full selection of beer and liquor. I ordered the Mexicana omelette and Ewa got the veggie omelette both with hash brown though Beans rice and tortillas are also possible. Overall the food was a solid 4 but the service was a bit lacking as we had to wait quite a while for water to start and for our bill. Could be a 4 would give it a 3.5 but had to go three. Will try again for dinner and see if we can bring it up. read more

Our server Jasmin was excellent!!! also, drinks were great, food was really good - would definitely recommend

The customer service was top notch I was served by Jasmin, and she was top notch one of the best or the best waiter I have ever hard period. It was also great because it's been a while since I have seen a restaurant with this much passion and love not only within their ambience and just how their food and service have an actual soul to it. Though I was hesitant to go because I am Muslim and can only eat Halal, but I was told by my friend that their vegetarian option was a must to try. But overall, the service and food were great and as well as the overall vibes of the restaurant, so I am generally happy there is an actual good Mexican food alternative that doesn't have pork and that has a good vegetarian option. Definitely a must go again especially for Iftar!! read more

Great food, including breakfast all day! Delicious omelettes and fresh fruit juice! The ambiance is very colorful, with lots of artwork, and the staff is efficient and friendly. Don't miss this wonderful restaurant! read more

My friend and I decided to try this place out. First it took about 10 min to get greeted. I asked to sit outside and what the server Israel what he recommended he suggested the carnita tacos and the shrimp tacos We also got a chicken wet burrito, the food was disgustingly gross. I had a pile of food that I wouldn't even feed to my dog. He never asked how the food was. The service was terrible and my friend and I will not be returning. I've been a server for a long time and I'm extremely disappointed in today's meal. read more

Just arrived in town for business and Easter break with wife and daughter. Needed to get something to eat, and found this spot. Great deal on Tuesday during happy hour tacos only $2. They had great flavor. My wife enjoyed her chimichanga and daughter had pizza (yes pizza she's 7). All was great and service was excellent, made sure our water cups were never empty. This is a great place all around. read more

Oh, Man. In all honesty, this is a good, friendly place for breakfast, lunch an dinner. But that is is. It is just 'good', nothing unique about the food. (except some approximations to Mexican dishes) So why the 4 stars? The juices and smoothies absolutely rock. So fresh, tasty and nurturing. That itself is a good enough reason to be there. That an great service makes me want to come back any day. read more

Cozy deco, heart portions, and friendly servers. This restaurant was just a delight to dine at. Our server, Rosy, was very hospitable and gave us many helpful suggestions. On top of all of that, and the most important part, the food was great. Hearty portions and delightful tastes, one could not ask for more. If you so choose to drop by, ask for Rosy to make sure that you're well taken care of. read more

Cantina Azteca came highly recommended by a local. The carnitas was the best. The chips and salsa were also fantastic. And our server was so nice and friendly. FIVE Stars!! read more

Cantina Azteca does it right! The restaurant is pretty big, which is great for family gatherings and celebrations. The staff is very friendly and welcomed us in like family. They also gave some great recommendations on the menu. The margaritas are excellent too. The night we were there also provided live mariachi! This is our new, go to, Mexican restaurant. read more

Service is great, everyone is always nice & helpful. Food is delicious!! They have really good breakfast & bottomless mimosas is awesome.

To start I been coming here for a while. Street tacos and happy hr are bomb. What isn't so bomb is being overcharged. And when you bring it to waiter attention, being told it's my fault??? Let me explain on one incident I ordered happy beer $4 I was charged $6... ok that could be just accident I let it go next visit I ordered $12.99 3 taco combo. I pointed at menu asked, and the order was taken. I get a bill. I'm charged tacos separately, and beans and rice on side order. Now total is $14.99 : $9 ×3 tacos + $5.99 = rice/beans . When I asked and stated there was a mistake,I was told by the gentleman waiter that they wrote it wrong.... ok, no change, just it was written wrong and looks at me.. I said I guess thats my fault and he agreed . I repeated myself my fault, they made mistake he agreed again..!!. lol hilarious service. There goes your tip buddy!! My suggestion is look at bill before paying, you might catch extra charges for nothing extra. Food is good, but service and charges are suspect. Be warned read more

There online service is a complete mess, there is no tracking of it. The personnel doesn't really know what is going on, the entire wait time for my food was 55min. The food was not good either, I love Mexican food and this was one of the worst I've ever tried. read more

They survived COVID which is awesome! Staff is very friendly, and food and drinks are always good. They have live mariachi music every Friday. Definitely worth stopping by. read more

It was my daughter's birthday and at 3:00 pm on a Friday, I placed an order for food for 10 people off the catering menu. Although the waitress had to speak to the Kitchen Manager to make sure they could fulfill the order, my food was ready by 6:30 pm. Everything was delicious! I want to commend the kitchen staff, and everyone who made this possible. Excellent Job! Michael Avila read more

I am literally addicted to the chips and salsa and their beans and rice is really pretty freaking bomb too

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered a VEGAN taco plate and two bites into my food there was a bone. Immediately asked to have the plate taken away and the manager then made a phone call to have the item removed from the bill and stated that it was a CHICKEN bone in my food and that it was "not their fault". Their kitchen is obviously not clean and there is cross contamination everywhere. Another person in our party also received the wrong order. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I love this place, food is great, nice ambiance, and I love the live Mariachis on Fridays!

Thanks Rosie! We ate there earlier tonight and both enjoyed our meals. She was knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendation was great. The enchilada sauce on my wet burrito que muy sabroso! Lots of vegetarian options for me, and I even saw a vegan section on the menu! Yes! Quick service and Rosie was very intuitive about when to approach our table and about what we might need. read more

The waitress barely checked in on us and when she did she only asked 2/3 of us how we wanted our margaritas and got all 3 of them wrong. Then my friend finished in her margarita to find a blended beer bottle cap at the bottom of her drink. Pieces of metal were missing from the cap meaning that my friend literally drank metal. Overall very disappointed in the service and the quality of everything. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Thought i check this place out because of all the good reviews. I got my daughter the pancakes kids menu item and for myself french toast with bananas and walnuts. The food took awhile to come out. I mean it was during brunch and a Saturday, but still our order wasn't that complicating. Anyways the French toast i had was gigantic... you could definitely feed two adults. I didnt even finish it not because it was huge but because it wasn't as good as it looked or sounded Lol i forced myself to try to finish it because there was so much left, but i failed! I liked my daughter's pancakes better lol also the orange and apple slices that came with the meal tasted like the smell of the greasy grill. Maybe we weren't suppose to eat it and it was just for decoration lol. I wished they didn't run out of groupon because it was kind of pricey for okay breakfast. Lol Maybe i should have tried their mexican breakfast dishes? read more

I've been going here since I moved into the area over a year ago & usually been highly satisfied.....but the last 2 times including today have just been the absolute worst! I ordered a fajita plate which of course comes out sizzling & eventually dies down but within 30secs it's already super cooled I was a bit wary. But I payed it not too much attention. Then when actually eating it my chicken wasn't even seasoned with salt pepper or any type of seasoning it was alarming. My refried beans looked microwaved, my rice was semi cold on top of that. We asked for a side of Pico during our order which the server seemed to scoff at it being a large inconvenience, and when it came out it looked un-fresh like it sat in the fridge for a week plus being slimmy & smelling rotted. We were basically the only people in there today & would've said something about these issues but no server even acknowledged us except on 2 occasions after we had ate a portion of our meals & about to leave. I'm generally not picky and grew up of if it's in front of you & you're hungry you're eating. So I ate what I could & the second time our server came around is when I asked for a box to-go which seemed to be an issue & he plopped down our bill & just walked off. Service was horrendous, food wasn't good, & we couldn't even get someone to acknowledge us to get things rectified. We & especially me will never come back here again unless there's some drastic changes & we are compensated for a $40+ where we got less than $10 food & service. read more

First timer at this place. Overall it was a pretty good experience, good food && good service. Location: was pretty decent as far as parking goes, which is great. Because it sucks to find a devent place for breakfast/brunch and parking is terrible. Ambience: it seemed to have a traditional Mexican theme throughout the restaurant and menu. Food: the portions are pretty big in my opinion. I only ate about a third and had 2 mimosas. I got the Azteca omlette with country potatoes and beans. I loved the omelette but the beans and potatoes were definitely under seasoned. Service: the service was great the entire time which surprising considering how busy this place was. read more

My sister took me here and told me the food was really good. Usually her taste in food is great so I trusted her recommendation. The only thing good are the cocktails. If you're looking for authentic this is NOT it, however, a great place to bring your elderly grandma for "Mexican" food. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I cannot day this restaurant is living up to the 4 stars. When we walked in there was no one there to take our party number and the waiting area was crowded and a whole sitting booth was blocked by a giant arcade game. After about 20 minutes of waiting (not a problem) we were seated. The problem really came with the service, it seemed like the left hand didn't know what the right was doing. A random server came up to us and asked if we had revived drinks yet, when we said no he got our drink order and left. A different waiter took our orders and we waited 30 minutes for the food to come out. Normally this Wouldn't be a long wait, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all and more than one waiter was standing around laughing and joking. When we finally got our food brought to us by a completely DIFFERENT server, we were very disappointed. We had to get up to ask for a plate of food they forgot to bring out. The restaurant in self may be clean, but the appearance itself is outdated, dingy, and the food was very disappointing. Outrageous prices for low quality food. We won't be coming back. Redeeming quality: the chips and the live music read more

Slow service, used to be pretty quick !!.........................Crazy slow !! Why don't know!! Crazy Crazy Crazy

The food is good, large portions (ends up being 2 - 3 meals for me). The interior is a little tired for my taste but it's a good local spot.

Excited for the new spot and was not disappointed! We decided to venture out and try the American menu- has the club sand which with curly fries! Highly recommend- I added avocado too! My husband and I shared that and it was plenty. Love the salsa bar! I mean you get best of both worlds! Kids opted for pancakes of course and loved them!
