A nice breakfast spot across from the hotel I stayed at. I sat up at the bar counter and was in and out with ease. The is inside was big and easy to get around. The service was friendly and prompt. I had the basic bacon and eggs breakfast with a coffee, and everything hit the spot. Thanks for the service and for having me!

Been coming here for years, even before they expanded to more locations. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and they know the regulars. Very casual, easy going atmosphere.

Since my stepson started going to FSU, we've been on the lookout for good breakfast spots. This Canopy Road Cafe location was right up the road from our hotel on Apalachee. Luckily for us, we got here after the breakfast crowd and got seated right away. The cafe is part of a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. It's nicely decorated and the service was very friendly. The menu has all the standard breakfast options along with lots of healthy choices. The omelettes sounded good so we all ordered these with various combinations. My cheddar mushroom omelette served with sourdough bread was delicious! The hash browns were more like shredded potatoes, not my favorite. The coffee, however, was excellent. I'd definitely go back to this spot or try one of the three other locations in Tallahassee. If you're going at the peak breakfast time, just be prepared for a wait.

Canopy Road Breakfast over hotel breakfast any day! I was visiting Tallahassee for a few days. My hotel stay did not include breakfast but Canopy was right across the street so made my way over. It did not disappoint! Lucky every time I went it was a short wait, so my party & I were seated quickly. Waiters were super friendly and nice and made some great recommendations. We went twice in 1 week. My recommendations for anyone visiting. Get the cinnamon roll or the blueberry crumble muffin (split and buttered on the grill as recommended on their menu, of course!). Both are perfect sharing size or you could eat it by itself for breakfast. For entrees, I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict. A little too much hollandaise sauce for me. But the all-star was the chicken which had the right amount of heat and full of flavor. They also have great hash browns. You know a breakfast place is good when they have great hash browns. I was able to get a taste of the Douglas Breakfast Skillet over home fries too. Skillet was full of flavor; can't go wrong with that. Just delicious! The portions are a good size; perfect for a brunch type meal. Great breakfast spot got sure!

Burnt and served for $17.00. One of my favorite restaurants in the past but I'm very unsatisfied today. Eggs were perfect. Toast lightly burned on one side. Hash browns were to a crisp. Barely any cheese. Ham uncooked. Bacon and sausage extra done. I tried to eat but the further I got the worst it was...

Great breakfast spot. Friendly and speedy service and great food in a comfortable ambiance. Ample portions at good prices. Staff is awesome!

Great ambiance and super friendly staff. Reservations are recommended and it closes at 2-ish. We got there at the end of their day. We enjoyed their corned beef hash dish and the biscuits and gravy. Their fried green tomatoes were also good, but a little batter-heavy. We'll go back.

My favorite restaurant in the US! Sometimes I go out of my way to go to Tallahassee just to go to Canopy Road. Excellent plant based options as well as yummy dessert pancakes!

    Biscuits and gravy breakfast (1)

The Food(breakfast) is outstanding! I ordered biscuits and gravy and the taste was homemade and the amount was enough for 2 people. A cute little restaurant tucked away in the corner. You must make it here!

Nice little cafe in Tallahassee, with great vegan options, everything was delicious. The only drawback was the long wait, the waitress we had was attentive and the restaurant was clean!

We came here for brunch with my daughter for parents weekend. We chose a location away from the school, but the wait was still an one hour twenty minutes. We realized quickly other places had just as long a wait, so we ran errands and came back! Cute little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and also a high top bar area. They do not have any specialty coffees, which was a little bit of a bummer but plenty of food options! Breakfast or lunch! I had the surfer girl omelette but really wanted to try the seasonal pumpkin pancake so they let me take the toast off and up-charge which was perfect! Everything was delicious!!!

Yes! My coworkers and I frequently order items from both their breakfast and lunch menus during our lunch break.

And its 4.4-star rating out of 600+ via Uber Eats was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience. Looking through the menu of Harry's, I took interest in and ended up ordering their fried grouper sandwich with Harry's collard greens, and a key lime pie, which both were items I had an interest in trying while visiting the city of Tallahassee. Whether it be Grubhub or now Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Much praise to the Uber Eats delivery driver, Dezi, for arriving with my order at a reasonable time, as well as meeting me in front of the hotel. And Dezi also confirmed that it was me grabbing the order, which I cannot thank her so much for. Once I retrieved my order, it was so hard to not smell it inside of the elevator while heading up to my hotel room. First, I want to say that I was satisfied with the presentation of what I ordered. However, I was not satisfied with the way it was placed inside of the bag, which led to the collard greens leaking slightly, and the cream of the lime pie being splattered around the container. Now my mouth salivated prior to taking my first bite of the grouper sandwich, which appeared big! It could have easily turned into the only meal I ate for the evening and I was not complaining about that. It tasted just as good as it appeared with the addition of tartar sauce which I put a whole glob of it on, tehehe. The grouper sandwich made me forget about the way my food was placed inside of the bag. After letting the grouper sandwich settle off my taste buds, I went for the collard greens, which I enjoyed outside of picking out the chunks of meat! There was a point while eating the collard greens, I said to myself "This is good!". If you love collard greens as much as I do, then I recommend Harry's collard greens, but keep in mind that it has meat chunks inside of it. Now, I saved the best for last, which was the key lime pie! Mm... It was basically a cheesecake in the form of lime pie! And oh my was it tasty! I would be lying if I said that I left some crumbs behind because it sure was satisfying. Okay, Harry's you have won over this traveler from the Midwest. Being that I had a great ordering experience, I would surely order from Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille again whether it be Uber Eats delivery or takeout whenever visiting the city of Tallahassee. Service: 4 | Ambiance: N/A | Food: 5 | Overall rating: 4 ~ Keep moving Forward ~ Thomas G

During Sunday brunch, we were seated quickly, even without reservations, even while it was very busy. There were lots of people ~ the venue is cute and quaint... my friend, however, was stuck on the paint chips and holes in the wall. The food was great. I got fried deviled eggs (yummy), fried catfish, red velvet waffles, eggs and corned beef hash. The catfish was extremely fresh. The red velvet cupcakes came with a cream cheese sauce that tasted more like Krispy Kreme donut glaze or just a sugary sauce. I wish it had more of a cream cheese flavor. I wasn't pleased with it. The corn beef hash was good. My friend got the chicken and pancakes. The chicken was delicious, perfectly fried. The customer service was great ~ warm, attentive, inviting, quick, and well managed to be so busy. Jordan, our server, was amazing! The ambience and crowd were nice, diverse. Unfortunately, the speaker wasn't working properly so initially it was incredibly, awkwardly quiet. When the speaker did start working, it sounded busted. Hope you enjoy if you ever go visit.

I managed to secure a nice table with not even a 25 minute wait thanks to a very courteous and professional manager (thank you, Steve!). At the table, everything was clean, shiny and the server was prompt despite a very busy morning. The crowd, obviously, seemed to be mostly college students and parents. I'm pretty sure during the week it's the Capitol Hill crowd. The food was tasty and really hit the spot. Coffees fresh brewed all around, of course. After waiting forever to get drinks the waiter auctioned off the drinks (which is always a sign of bad service) he had just taken orders for. He served a margarita to a non-drinker telling him it was a mocktail he ordered. We ordered appetizers, which were good. Unfortunately they got cold while we waited for small plate. We asked for other servers in the area for them twice. They never showed up, so we had to eat them with our hands. This would be fine if the shrimp wasn't $44 dollars and not great when eaten cold. We had actually walk into the restaurant to get drink refills. We were there to celebrate and spend money, but we couldn't get service. Flagging down other servers to get another glass of wine or beer is not ideal. When it was time for entres they were not sent out at the same time and were again auctioned off. "Who had the scallops?" Funny thing is I had the scallops and they were stone cold. While waiting for the rest of the food to show up to the table they got even colder. After ten minutes I just ate. After three quarters of the table was served and finished their plates the waiter showed up and 3 people on the table had not been served. They rushed out the three missing dishes after a manager was notified. The craziest thing that happened all evening was when the check was dropping and they added a 22% gratuity. They did take off a couple items. It was hard to tell with a $1500 tab. I have worked in the service industry and am usually sympathetic to servers and restaurants as I have been on the other side of the house. But this experience was too poor to excuse. That being said the other table said they had a great experience. Maybe it was an off night for our server.

Here is where we go for that special occasion. Tonight Carson was our waiter and he has years working here for Drew (Alas absent tonight), Savour's owner. Carson knew the menu cold along with favorite recommendations. Drinks were excellent and they have a great wine list (although the "by the glass" list was pretty short). We elected to split the Wedge salad (trust me it's more than enough for a $3 up charge) and had the Whipped Feta Cheese with Pita to go with the salads. Charcuterie board was not on the menu tonight. Since Christmas is around the corner and a Prime Rib looms, we elected to forgo steaks. Carson described the Scallops and the description matched the dish exactly. Four big scallops with a great sauce mounded on a bed of fresh corn and (sorry I didn't see what else was there). I had the fresh fish (blackened Flounder) in a New Orleans spicy sauce and rice (I'm not doing this justice). Carson advised this was spicy and it was. It was out of this world. A home run by the Chef (please come out some evenings and say hi - and take a bow). Dessert was a Lava cake with ice cream, one of 4 desserts offered tonight. Trust me, if you like gooey chocolate (like having a chocolate soufflé), this was the keeper. Service was impeccable. We missed Drew welcoming his guests but his team has been there a long time and were quick seating us. Carson was everything you could ask for in a waiter. Fully knowledgeable about the food (he started in the kitchen years ago), checked back often, staged the timing perfectly (how rare is that!) and we are sure to ask for him again. A great evening and the rain had stopped by the time we were leaving. Of course we will be back.

R&R at Hotel Indigo in Tallahassee, FL…read more Stayed a couple nights at Hotel Indigo on a work trip and naturally ended up at R&R more than once because: location, location, location. Easy access plus a bar meant repeat visits. Let's start with the GOODS the drinks! I stopped in to the bar multiple times and the cocktails are where they shined for me. Ryan the bartender - WOW next level. Superb! Knows his stuff, and made every drink a hit for me. My top pick? The Juju, hands down my favorite. But I also got a sneak peek of a new drink coming to their seasonal menu called the Lily Pad, and OMG mmmmmm. So good. Bright, refreshing, well-balanced. Totally check out my photos for that one. Now... about breakfast. It's a No for me. Enough. I had the Nashville Honey Chicken Biscuits and they are a FAIL, a No. Dry, sad, biscuits with fried frozen chicken nugget in it and not worth $16. It's an embarrassment to the establishment. The Cortado, also a miss!... but it was coffee and I needed to get going to work. R&R, please rethink breakfast: 100% did not meet the price point. Skip breakfast or walk across the street, there's a bagel shop. The hotel indigo is really cute and I'll probably write a review about that on a separate, the place is overall cute, but there's very limited food places around the hotel. So in conclusion, I will give you an extra star for the convenience and the bar. After my experience for breakfast, I did not care to come here for food at all anymore. Expensive cheap food. Just because they're helped by a great bar and a beautiful hotel and a great location..

Had an excellent visit here recently with a couple of girlfriends on a Thursday night. The place…read morewas virtually empty apart from a birthday dinner taking place. The service was excellent. I forget our waitresses name. The items are reasonably priced and cooked fresh with love. I had the trout and enjoyed everything about it. I will say I had the last trout of the evening. They were running low on a few of the entree items, but it was two hours til closing time. My friend had the pesto pasta and she said she wishes she'd had more pesto sauce and highly recommended adding a protein to it. Since it's connected to a hotel the vibe is pretty cool. I hear breakfast is good and plan to return for it soon.
