Meat lovers omelette with home fries and toast
Steve H.

Decided to go to one of my favorite places for breakfast. I have never had a sub par meal from them until today. I ordered the meat lovers omelette with home fries and 9 grain toast. Visually the omelette looks great but after cutting into it the omelette was sitting in a puddle of grease. The omelette tasted fine but the greasy puddle kind of turned me off. I've had several omelettes from this chain at other locations with no problem. Don't know if I'll be back to this location again. The 9 grain toast was delicious and the home fries were as good as always.

Inside of Palm Beach Club (with no tomato) on Sourdough instead of a Ciabatta Roll

This is a good breakfast or brunch option in Lithia! Came in for a last minute weekday brunch and was seated quickly. The inside is quite small so I imagine it gets pretty busy on weekends. I ordered the Palm Beach Club ($14) on sourdough instead of a ciabatta roll). It was really yummy and had a lot of avocado and bacon which was nice considering a lot of place skimp on that. The fries that came with it were great too, especially with an extra side of the garlic aioli to dip in. My friend went for the BLT Benedict ($15) which she really liked too. Another friend got the Eggs Benedict ($13) and she enjoyed those. Another friend went for the Cafe Smash Burger ($14) and thought it was yummy too, especially with the sweet potato fries on the side (+$1). The only thing that soured the meal a bit was our waitress who rolled her eyes when we asked for some side sauces after she asked if we needed anything else. We also ordered a to-go meal and she never told us it was ready so we were sitting for an extra 15 minutes while it was ready to go. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but I wish the service was better to complement the good food. I would definitely come back for some yummy breakfast or brunch!

Was over visiting Debs cousins and stopped n here for lunch. Nice menu with lots of choices. Pretty busy but we got in fairly quick. Solid choice for a breakfast of lunch.

If you're in the fishhawk area, you definitely need to try this place out. Yeah it's small. Yeah it's in a Publix Shopping center. But guess what this place is phenomenal. First things first let's talk about the coffee. I was so surprised at how good their coffee was. It's actually better than first watch. The avocado toast, which was very tasty. The goat cheese, and pico really brought out the flavors. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy which had great flavor. However, I will say the gravy was lacking sausage. The grits were cheesy and gooey and just the way I like them. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the fishhawk area looking for a bite to eat or just passing through great spot.

Come get your breakfast on! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside is small and can only seat groups of 4. Have a bar area you can sit at as well. Many options from pancakes, omelettes, skillets and more. I had the Beaumont skillet. 3 eggs to order on top of home fries or hash browns. This one also had ham bacon and cheese. Lots of meat mixed in with the home fries. Very satisfying meal. Coffee was good and they came around to top it off quite frequently. Give this place a try.

Chicken salad Sandwich with fries |Canopy Road | Fishhawk- Lithia FL | Feb 5, 2023

How much needed breakfast place over in Fishhawk. Great pancake selection. Huge variety for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Everything is made fresh to order. Definitely a very friendly and accommodating staff! As of this review, early February 2023, this restaurant has only been open less than two weeks. I noticed the review before me isn't perfect but seriously let's cut it these businesses some slack. Canopy Road has always been my favorite breakfast spot at the other Brandon/Tampa location and my visit to this new location did not disappoint. Same great food, same great service! I will say this is my first time having a chicken salad sandwich since we got to breakfast a little before 11. It far exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. I recommend giving it a try if you're teetering between breakfast and lunch! IG: TampaFoodMom

We love this place in our area! Cute spot with friendly servers. Their food is yum!! They can get busy because of their food but worth the wait! I am not really a pancake person but I love theirs!! So many good choices! One of our favorite spots!!

Went to the new canopy road, the food was really great and we were pleasantly surprised! They have a vast menu with all kinds of appealing entrees but I chose the most basic omelette, it was really good! I feel like sometimes places don't do omelettes right and I can say that it was the perfect mixture of eggs and filling. I really liked that they don't pre-butter the toast, but rather provide everything you need on the table (creamer, butter, jam, condiments). I also really liked the home fries, perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside - soft in the inside. The only thing I think this place was lacking was the variety of coffee. It seemed them just iced and hot, nothing crazy. It was good and pretty simple but seemed lacking with such an extensive menu. The service was great, the outside patio seating was lovely and the food was fantastic.

Ehhh......just OK. Nothing to make me rush back for. Inside is very small but nicely decorated. It was a beautiful Friday morning and we sat outside. Our server, Felicia was friendly and attentive during the visit. I had two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon. I swear, these were the smallest eggs I've ever seen! Wifey had avocado toast which was loaded up and tasty.

Relaxed seating area and everything is a bit mismatched, but that just adds to the vibe. The bathrooms are STUNNING. I've never been to a cafe with a bathroom that fancy whoa. The service was very friendly, gave us recommendations based on the popular items ppl get. I got the velvet amber half decaf and my partner got the cinnamon toast latte. Both were great. They also serve Kava, Teas, mushroom gummies, and additives you can add to your drink. They also offer CBD consultation. Overall, I will be coming back to battle some of my friends in chess and do my study dates there.

We were traveling with an elderly disabled family member who uses a mobility scooter. Although there were designated accessible parking spaces, the ramp leading into the building was so narrow that her scooter couldn't safely use it. Once inside, both the retail store and the restaurant had aisles that were too narrow for the scooter to navigate. As a result, she had to leave the scooter behind and painfully walk with a cane, which left her exhausted before we were even seated. The retail store itself was packed so tightly with merchandise that it felt more like navigating an obstacle course than shopping. Much of the merchandise was gift-shop fare at prices that seemed difficult to justify. The restaurant appeared disorganized from the moment we checked in. We watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did, including a party of two being seated at a table that could accommodate eight guests. Meanwhile, our elderly disabled relative was told she could wait in a chair next to the restroom. When we were finally called, we were seated at a table at the very back of the restaurant, requiring yet another long and painful walk for our relative. After looking over the menu, we found the prices surprisingly high for the offerings, and there wasn't enough that appealed to our group to justify staying. At that point, we decided to leave without ordering. After driving more than an hour based on the restaurant's reputation, the combination of poor accessibility, disorganized seating, and a menu that didn't provide good value made the trip feel like a complete waste of time. We ended up driving into Plant City instead, where we found a welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a much better overall experience.

Thankfully it was close by, we didn't have to go all the way into Tampa to find a great tea experience. Affordable too!! The settings are all fine china from England. You get 2 teas. Then a tower of sweets and savory sandwiches. The cucumber sandwich was so good. I LOVED the soup and scones. Everything is homemade, amazing! The service was so friendly and nice. Our server poured our teas and explained everything we were getting. It was very relaxed and no rush. It was a great experience and we definitely left full! I would love to come back here again soon. As a former corporate pastry chef for Hyatt Hotels for almost22 years and the owner of my own…read morefamily bakery and restaurant for 17 years, I know how hard this business is, and I rarely leave negative reviews. The disappointment began before we even walked through the front door. The entire entrance looked more like a junkyard than a tea room: oversized plastic chess pieces, random wood on the wall where a sign had been removed, dark staining that looked neglected, broken flower pots, old rusted garden furniture. My wife and I almost turned around. Had we been paying that day, we likely would have left. But we had a gift certificate, so we gave it a chance. What concerned me even more was the safety. The steps were in poor condition, and the handrail was extremely loose, moving several inches side to side. As someone with a disability, that felt unsafe. Accessibility should be basic. Inside, the owner and our server were kind and welcoming, and I genuinely appreciated that. But both teapots had been placed on the table before we were seated, and my tea was already cold. I had to ask for hot water just to have a proper cup, which I wouldn't expect from an afternoon tea. The biggest disappointment was the food. At forty five dollars per person, ninety for two, I expected quality and attention to detail. Instead, the sandwiches and pastries were among the poorest I've ever been served. I could only manage a couple of small sandwiches and one dessert before giving up. What surprised me most after our visit was reading the five-star reviews. Based on our experience, it is difficult for me to understand how this place earns that level of praise. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism. The staff was kind, but kindness can't overcome serious maintenance and quality issues. Sadly, I can't recommend it in its current state Update Thank you for responding We were celebrating my wife and I our retirement and chose not to create an awkward moment.
