You can do a pre-check-in then just scan the QR code when you are at the place. I went early before my appointment, check in then I was called in no time. I was impressed. The Phlebotomist was friendly and made me comfortable, and the first draw was smooth. Then here comes the catch - she didn't take enough vials for a certain color, so she has to stick me again. Waaa. I told her I didn't want to be probed in the same arm. My right arm isn't good as the left; she called another Phlebotomist to help her. At first no blood came out, so they have to adjust the needle. By looking at it, it makes you not to be probed anymore. It doesn't hurt though. And they were able to get what they needed. This is a good place for a phlebotomist to do their externship. They will enhance their skills. Limited parking. Decent gender-neutral public facility.

The office is inside a high‑rise building, and once you arrive at the lobby, checking yourself in at the kiosk is the best option ~ fast and straightforward. There were already people waiting, but the process was organized, and they called my name quickly. I hadn't even warmed my seat, yet when they called me in. The phlebotomist, Patricia, welcomed me with a smile and a great attitude that immediately put me at ease. She drew two vials of blood smoothly and professionally, and I was done in minutes ~ fast and easy from start to finish . Results took a few days to appear online, which is expected. Fyi there's construction on Ventura right now, so drive around to the back and park up the ramp and they do validate! The front desk was so nice and upfront about copays right away. I was called back quickly for vitals, and Dr. Zadorian was great. He was super friendly, thorough, and clearly explained the treatment plan, wrote my prescription, and gave solid advice on prevention. It was my first time going to a Foundation Laboratory. I like that there was a dedicated parking garage in the back for the entire medical plaza building this is in. Located in suite #104 with a paper sign, it was easy to spot the doorway where this is. Upon entering, there's a small waiting room and a receptionist at the desk. Check-in was simple and I handed her my ID. A good handful of us started coming in the waiting room already. I quickly realized as she told some to wait and walked to the back, that this receptionist was also the phlebotomist! I was surprised when the lady in front of me got taken of so quick. Soon enough, it was my turn and I went to the back. I sat down and was worried because of how busy it just got for her. With no sweat, just pure skill, she got my blood on her first try and was able to draw my blood perfectly. She bandage taped my arm really well and I couldn't stop thanking her. She is a really skilled expert in her craft. The most seamless and easiest blood draw I ever experienced. There was plenty of it, which is rare compared to other Labcorp locations where parking is usually paid and a hassle. The office is small and was pretty full when I arrived, but even with an appointment, I was called back within just a few minutes. Bernice was handling everything during my visit, and she was amazing. The waiting room had several patients asking questions and feeling impatient, but she stayed calm, organized, and efficient the entire time while keeping things moving. She mentioned it's usually a two-person team, but they were short on supplies that day, so she was holding things down on her own, which made it even more impressive. When it was my turn, she was professional and kind. I usually have very difficult veins and often get poked multiple times, but she got it on the first try. Overall, top-tier service. I would definitely recommend this location. Just be patient if it's busy - they're working hard and doing their best.

I like going to this place because it's usually not too busy. However, this time the waiting room…read morewas packed, and several walk-in patients were complaining about how long it was taking to be called. Fortunately, the technicians were very kind and patient. My appointment was at 10:10 AM, and I only had to wait about 15 extra minutes, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. My biggest complaint is the parking. The building charges $2 every 15 minutes, with a maximum of $20 per day, which I think is excessive. I normally park on the street, but because I was short on time, I decided to park in the building. I was there for less than an hour and ended up paying $8. Unbelievable! It was a good reminder to leave earlier next time so I can avoid paying for parking. The highlight of my visit was the technician who drew my blood. Her name is Susan (she's asian), and she's a floater. My veins are very difficult to find, but she located one on the first try, and the blood draw was completely painless. I wish I could request an appointment with her every time I need lab work done. She was definitely the best part of my visit.

Got there, there were about 7 people in the waiting area. On the tv, there was a sidebar of transparency regarding the order of patients, appt times, and standby patients. If you weren't able to check in via the link sent, there were two kiosks in the corner for easy check in. I was seen within 15 mins. Donna Mae (my phlebotomist) was polite, gentle, and expeditious. I was done in less than 5 mins, and I had 5 vials! I found street parking off Killion, which was super easy.
