I made an appointment online, came with my bar coded paperwork, ID, and insurance card. Checked in 10 mins beforehand via a link from a text they sent me. Got there, there were about 7 people in the waiting area. On the tv, there was a sidebar of transparency regarding the order of patients, appt times, and standby patients. If you weren't able to check in via the link sent, there were two kiosks in the corner for easy check in. I was seen within 15 mins. Donna Mae (my phlebotomist) was polite, gentle, and expeditious. I was done in less than 5 mins, and I had 5 vials! I found street parking off Killion, which was super easy. read more

I didn't wait more then 10 minutes, the girl that took me in made the process as quick & efficient as possible. I had blood drawn. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't send the results to me or my doctor. I waited a few days longer than anticipated and had to just call quest as soon as I did the information was sent over. I just wish that part was done with more efficiency and care because I was waiting on those results in order to get a prescription. read more

This lab is horrendous. Consistently 30 minutes late for appointments so making one is useless. Staff is unresponsive and doesn't care. They make appointments during lunch hour and then make patients sit around for an hour while they are on a break. Poorly managed. Use Lab Quest instead. Much better service. read more

The way this place is set up is kind of strange. You real into the room and are greeted by a big empty space with a few chairs and a couple of computers. There no way to talk to anyone until you are scheduled for your appointment. Schedule your appointment online before you get here. If you do it on the computers in the waiting room, you might have to wait an hour. read more

Staff told me I could drop off a sample without an appointment. I showed up the next day to drop it off, and was then told that I did in fact need an appointment. Rather than fix their mistake, they did not allow me to quickly drop off the sample, and were rude and condescending towards me. read more

This is the most unorganized office. There was ONE lab technician and a lobby full of people. I dared to inquire why only one person working with many appointments and walk ins? I was told the other lab tech was training! Terrible timing. I needed to drop off a sample it took me over one hour and one half but it was done after I requested to talk to the manager! Waited THREE AND A HALF HOURS to get my labs drawn. It was miserable. I had a walk-in, so I didn't expect to be first in line, and it is a holiday week, but that long is ridiculous, especially when I was having to wait longer at 1:20 because some other people had appointments at 2. Then, after all that, I was told that I needed to have a parent with me, so my mom had to rush from the store to get there. You'd think that when I checked in at the kiosk and inputted my birth date, they'd've told me I needed a parent with me. But no, that would be too convenient. Once they took me back (again, after 3.5 hours), they just kinda dumped me in a room and forgot about me. The woman who occasionally stuck her head in the lobby was rude. The front door was loud and constantly slamming. The chairs were uncomfortable. The only positive thing I can say is that I had a nice conversation with the phlebotomist while he took my blood. If you can avoid going to Quest, you should, for the sake of your sanity. I wish LabCorp were still open. read more

I came with my grandma, who's on a wheel chair, she came to get some urgent blood work. We were with elderly Caucasian male, who was curt, poorly mannered, and ignored us throughout the entire appointment. He did not once look at us, or even greet us, he spoke at us to only verify the name on the label and as I inquired multiple times as to when the results would be ready, her doctor demanded to know, he'd only reply with a tomorrow while making us feel insignificant. read more

I ALWAYS make an appointment when I have lab work at Quest. That being said, I had just seen my doctor in Tarzana, who did several nasal swabs on me, and sent me to Quest in the building. I could not make an appt, because I came straight from my dr. I signed in at the kiosk, with the option of dropping off a completed specimen. There were already about 15-18 people in the waiting room. ' I KNOW you have to wait if you don't have an appointment. I get it. But what ensued was horrific. I went up to the always unmanned "front" after 20 minutes to get a time estimate (they've made it contactless). So, you have to stand there, hoping someone comes by or do as this crowd did: ALL lunge at the tech when they open the door to call a name. After 45 minutes, I went up and told the woman that I had been tested for Covid and felt nauseated. Was there any way she could expedite my turn? "No", she replied with dead eyes and an exhausted look. It is not the employee's fault. They are short staffed and following Quest's idiotic rules. 1. Although the sign said SOCIAL DISTANCING was being observed, it wasn't. We were all in chairs right next to each other. 2. The recording I dialed, says masks are mandatory. I was the only one wearing a mask. other than the technicians. 3. People were coughing and sneezing with no effort to shield others. I guarantee a great deal of the clients were ill, because it looked and sounded like a room full of sick people. I waited an hour and then left. By then, there was 20 people in the room. Quest's motto should be: IF YOU ARE NOT SICK WHEN YOU ARRIVE, YOU WILL BE BY THE TIME YOU LEAVE. In their defense, I have had blood drawn here and they were quite competent phlebotomists. They need to enforce COVID guidelines, at least for now. There needs to be an "express" drop off service. It's ridiculous to wait that long. The man next to me had been waiting 2 1/2 hours. Quest doesn't have much competition, but they need to step up their game. The appointment times were a great idea, but they need to hire more technicians. Oh well, I kept busy by helping confused people work the kiosk. It is not user friendly. Older people looked confused and had no one to help them. My morning appointments all saw me on time but when I made an appointment to drop off lab work I waited for 10 others to go ahead of me. There should really be a better system for drop offs. Waiting an hour to drop something off without needing to be seen doesn't make any sense. read more

Today I had to return for my new blood work. This place is simply amazing! My vampire from a few months back, was not there, so I was pretty nervous but WOW!!!! Morgan was absolutely patient, kind, caring and although it was so many tubes of blood being drawn, it did not hurt at ALL! I even walked to a near by shopping center after and had a coffee. I felt great. Once again, I dont understand how the reviews are so bad and I am glad I listened to my neighbors who swear by this location! Morgan did a stellar job as a vampire! There is no way to communicate with the people in the office. You check in on a screen and sit. For a long time. When someone comes to call a person in, they are unbelievably rude if anyone asks a question. I have an appointment and I have been waiting for an hour. And my test requires fasting, so I'm hungry and cranky. I don't know about other locations, but this one is terrible. read more

I personally had a great experience here. I read the reviews after booking my appointment and it made me a little nervous since I needed to go to work after. I showed up 15 minutes early to my appointment because I didn't know how the parking would be. It was street parking and I found a spot very easily. By the time I parked, walked in, and got on the elevator I was physically in quest 10 minutes before my appointment and that's when I checked in. I was called in right at my appointment time. An older man helped me out and he was very kind. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond and called my doctor regarding one of the questions I had. If I could rate zero, I would! I made an appointment for 10am. When I signed in, the kiosk said I had no appointment! Not true... but I had the day off so I decided to go for a standby appointment, which said the wait would be 30-60 minutes. I waited over 3(!!!) hours to be seen. The phlebotomist said something about my info being incorrect and something wrong with the system. At that point, I lost it and she stormed out of the room and said "I don't need to be treated like this." She sent in another person who ended up taking my blood. She barely spoke to me, took my blood and walked out of the room. They were rude, uncaring, unprofessional and unorganized. I will not return to this location. I even told the first phlebotomist that I was diabetic and had not had anything to eat in anticipation of a test that needed for me to fast. She could have cared less! I was told by physician by my physician to get my labs done to forth through treatment. I scheduled an appointment near my job in Tarzana. I arrived five minutes late to my appointment but was seated by 8:45 10-15 minutes after my appointment. I I WOULD recommend another experience at quest TARZANA!!!They did a very well job felt very comfortable in their office with the quick electronic check-in(PLUS) Great service from my nurse. I have come to the conclusion that the majority of phlebotomists that work for Quest are miserable with their jobs. Bitter, rude, and have no sense of customer service. This lab has 2 star which is too generous! I had a worst experience with one of the phlebotomist, Cherry ,she is rude and very unprofessional, I told her I don't want yo argue just do the blood test she movies me to other room and took the next patient , I told her I need to get back to work and her respond was then leave. I'm glad she didn't draw my blood, I'm sure she would hurt me. In other hand Diana was very nice and very helpful. She answered all my questions, she was very polite professional and gentle. I went there to get a test kit. there is no one at the front window. they just have these check in screens. if you try to talk to an employee, they just point you to the screens. after waiting an hour just to pick up a test kit, I gave up and left. terrible customer service. And if you're an older person who is not good with using their devices to check in, good luck. there is no one there to help you. they have 2 lab techs, that's it. read more

The truth is they are just as horrible and nasty as all the other reviews say they are. The owner needs to fire every single person there. No customer service or even human decency. Even when they have no one there, and just talking amongst themselves, if you do not have an appointment they tell you to piss off. This business should be reported to the chamber of commerce or better business bureau for their negligence and callous attitudes towards people in need of a vital services. The person who helped me did a great job. I think her name is Sheri. I have been here before and did my blood test, and Sheri helped me and I can honestly say she is the only person that will find my vane with only one try. All other places make a lot of attempts before they actually find it, Sheri on the other hand finds it on one try every time. Very impressive.
