I like going to this place because it's usually not too busy. However, this time the waiting room was packed, and several walk-in patients were complaining about how long it was taking to be called. Fortunately, the technicians were very kind and patient. My appointment was at 10:10 AM, and I only had to wait about 15 extra minutes, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. My biggest complaint is the parking. The building charges $2 every 15 minutes, with a maximum of $20 per day, which I think is excessive. I normally park on the street, but because I was short on time, I decided to park in the building. I was there for less than an hour and ended up paying $8. Unbelievable! It was a good reminder to leave earlier next time so I can avoid paying for parking. The highlight of my visit was the technician who drew my blood. Her name is Susan (she's asian), and she's a floater. My veins are very difficult to find, but she located one on the first try, and the blood draw was completely painless. I wish I could request an appointment with her every time I need lab work done. She was definitely the best part of my visit. read more

Quest Diagnostics - No bruising. Painless experience. - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Tarzana, California

I made an appointment online, came with my bar coded paperwork, ID, and insurance card. Checked in 10 mins beforehand via a link from a text they sent me. Got there, there were about 7 people in the waiting area. On the tv, there was a sidebar of transparency regarding the order of patients, appt times, and standby patients. If you weren't able to check in via the link sent, there were two kiosks in the corner for easy check in. I was seen within 15 mins. Donna Mae (my phlebotomist) was polite, gentle, and expeditious. I was done in less than 5 mins, and I had 5 vials! I found street parking off Killion, which was super easy. read more

Quest Diagnostics - 20 minutes after, but a whisper of a mark! - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Tarzana, California

To start out, the Tarzan location had an issue with their appointment check-in system. Someone had been waiting there for almost 3 hours because the system would not confirm her appointment. However, Donna was amazingly awesome and warm. She really put a smile on my face. She was expert, quick, and reassuiring. read more

I was in and out quickly when I made an appointment and had my requisition. Yesenia was the friendliest phlebotomist I meet that drew my blood and overall would recommend coming here to get tested read more

The way this place is set up is kind of strange. You real into the room and are greeted by a big empty space with a few chairs and a couple of computers. There no way to talk to anyone until you are scheduled for your appointment. Schedule your appointment online before you get here. If you do it on the computers in the waiting room, you might have to wait an hour. read more

I had Elizabeth today as my person taking my blood. What an amazing experience I have had and it is all to do with Elizabeth!!!! Literally THE TALENT? I have a thyroid condition so I have gotten my blood taken so much in my life. I also have the hardest veins ever, and queen Elizabeth was able to get the blood flowing so unbelievably quickly and I felt absolutely no pain at all, also an extremely rare occurrence for me. Thank you so much Elizabeth!!! read more

I was happy to meet Donna Mae yesterday morning. She was very kind, happy and positive. Usually no one can find my veins due to my tattoos and because they're pretty tiny, but she knew exactly where to go. She took the best care of me and did it so quickly!!! I was able to make it to the office right on time! Thanks Donna Mae! I hope I get you again next time around :) Very clean clinic, quiet and pleasant- easy to find parking too! read more

I didn't wait more then 10 minutes, the girl that took me in made the process as quick & efficient as possible. I had blood drawn. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't send the results to me or my doctor. I waited a few days longer than anticipated and had to just call quest as soon as I did the information was sent over. I just wish that part was done with more efficiency and care because I was waiting on those results in order to get a prescription. read more

It was easy to schedule appointment online. Easy parking. Easy check in. They called me in about five minutes and I left in five minutes. Lady who was taking my blood was amazing. Everything was flawless. Results received fast. Thank you. read more

Brenda, the lady who took my blood, was magnificent. She was easy to talk to and very thorough. I hope I get her again.

Absolutely no patient support. Can't get results, nobody answers the phone. STAT order needs to be processed ASAP not days later

11:10 is the appointment time, 11:52 still waiting.... Huge queue .... No costumer service

This lab is horrendous. Consistently 30 minutes late for appointments so making one is useless. Staff is unresponsive and doesn't care. They make appointments during lunch hour and then make patients sit around for an hour while they are on a break. Poorly managed. Use Lab Quest instead. Much better service. read more

Very neat and clean area and very friendly atmosphere you don't have to wait too long

Dr sends you upstairs for lab. They say walk in is fine wait is 30-60 minute. After 60 minute they say it may take 3 hours

Staff told me I could drop off a sample without an appointment. I showed up the next day to drop it off, and was then told that I did in fact need an appointment. Rather than fix their mistake, they did not allow me to quickly drop off the sample, and were rude and condescending towards me. read more

I always go to this place for my blood work. Never had an issue. The staff is very professional and caring. Today i had another blood test. The phlebotomist was Diana. She was such a sweet heart, and very professional and easy on taking the blood. I even didn't feel anything. read more

This is the most unorganized office. There was ONE lab technician and a lobby full of people. I dared to inquire why only one person working with many appointments and walk ins? I was told the other lab tech was training! Terrible timing. I needed to drop off a sample it took me over one hour and one half but it was done after I requested to talk to the manager! Badly run!!! read more

Waited THREE AND A HALF HOURS to get my labs drawn. It was miserable. I had a walk-in, so I didn't expect to be first in line, and it is a holiday week, but that long is ridiculous, especially when I was having to wait longer at 1:20 because some other people had appointments at 2. Then, after all that, I was told that I needed to have a parent with me, so my mom had to rush from the store to get there. You'd think that when I checked in at the kiosk and inputted my birth date, they'd've told me I needed a parent with me. But no, that would be too convenient. Once they took me back (again, after 3.5 hours), they just kinda dumped me in a room and forgot about me. The woman who occasionally stuck her head in the lobby was rude. The front door was loud and constantly slamming. The chairs were uncomfortable. The only positive thing I can say is that I had a nice conversation with the phlebotomist while he took my blood. If you can avoid going to Quest, you should, for the sake of your sanity. I wish LabCorp were still open. read more

I came with my grandma, who's on a wheel chair, she came to get some urgent blood work. We were with elderly Caucasian male, who was curt, poorly mannered, and ignored us throughout the entire appointment. He did not once look at us, or even greet us, he spoke at us to only verify the name on the label and as I inquired multiple times as to when the results would be ready, her doctor demanded to know, he'd only reply with a tomorrow while making us feel insignificant. read more

I've never been to a Questl a a poorly run as this one. Even with appt I had to wait over a hour The staff are unfriendly to say the least The facility is outdated and feels grungy. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment at a different location read more

I ALWAYS make an appointment when I have lab work at Quest. That being said, I had just seen my doctor in Tarzana, who did several nasal swabs on me, and sent me to Quest in the building. I could not make an appt, because I came straight from my dr. I signed in at the kiosk, with the option of dropping off a completed specimen. There were already about 15-18 people in the waiting room. ' I KNOW you have to wait if you don't have an appointment. I get it. But what ensued was horrific. I went up to the always unmanned "front" after 20 minutes to get a time estimate (they've made it contactless). So, you have to stand there, hoping someone comes by or do as this crowd did: ALL lunge at the tech when they open the door to call a name. After 45 minutes, I went up and told the woman that I had been tested for Covid and felt nauseated. Was there any way she could expedite my turn? "No", she replied with dead eyes and an exhausted look. It is not the employee's fault. They are short staffed and following Quest's idiotic rules. 1. Although the sign said SOCIAL DISTANCING was being observed, it wasn't. We were all in chairs right next to each other. 2. The recording I dialed, says masks are mandatory. I was the only one wearing a mask. other than the technicians. 3. People were coughing and sneezing with no effort to shield others. I guarantee a great deal of the clients were ill, because it looked and sounded like a room full of sick people. I waited an hour and then left. By then, there was 20 people in the room. Quest's motto should be: IF YOU ARE NOT SICK WHEN YOU ARRIVE, YOU WILL BE BY THE TIME YOU LEAVE. In their defense, I have had blood drawn here and they were quite competent phlebotomists. They need to enforce COVID guidelines, at least for now. There needs to be an "express" drop off service. It's ridiculous to wait that long. The man next to me had been waiting 2 1/2 hours. Quest doesn't have much competition, but they need to step up their game. The appointment times were a great idea, but they need to hire more technicians. Oh well, I kept busy by helping confused people work the kiosk. It is not user friendly. Older people looked confused and had no one to help them. Sorry this is so long, but there was SO MUCH WRONG. read more

How about honoring appointments and hiring more people? It is unacceptable that one has to wait over an hour WITH AN APPOINTMENT!

Today I had to return for my new blood work. This place is simply amazing! My vampire from a few months back, was not there, so I was pretty nervous but WOW!!!! Morgan was absolutely patient, kind, caring and although it was so many tubes of blood being drawn, it did not hurt at ALL! I even walked to a near by shopping center after and had a coffee. I felt great. Once again, I dont understand how the reviews are so bad and I am glad I listened to my neighbors who swear by this location! Morgan did a stellar job as a vampire! Thanks Quest for having some some wonderful employees that really care about your clientele. read more

My morning appointments all saw me on time but when I made an appointment to drop off lab work I waited for 10 others to go ahead of me. There should really be a better system for drop offs. Waiting an hour to drop something off without needing to be seen doesn't make any sense. read more

I personally had a great experience here. I read the reviews after booking my appointment and it made me a little nervous since I needed to go to work after. I showed up 15 minutes early to my appointment because I didn't know how the parking would be. It was street parking and I found a spot very easily. By the time I parked, walked in, and got on the elevator I was physically in quest 10 minutes before my appointment and that's when I checked in. I was called in right at my appointment time. An older man helped me out and he was very kind. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond and called my doctor regarding one of the questions I had. I personally would come here again. read more

There is no way to communicate with the people in the office. You check in on a screen and sit. For a long time. When someone comes to call a person in, they are unbelievably rude if anyone asks a question. I have an appointment and I have been waiting for an hour. And my test requires fasting, so I'm hungry and cranky. I don't know about other locations, but this one is terrible. read more

The absolute worst. Make an appointment, they never honor it. EVER. 40 minutes late!

Been waiting 50 minutes WITH an appointment. Horrible experience, messes up my entire day. Avoid if you can.

I have come to the conclusion that the majority of phlebotomists that work for Quest are miserable with their jobs. Bitter, rude, and have no sense of customer service. This company really needs to give customer service training, and maybe a higher pay or something. I have been treated better when I visited a relative in county jail. Just saying read more

This place is awful. I went there to get a test kit. there is no one at the front window. they just have these check in screens. if you try to talk to an employee, they just point you to the screens. after waiting an hour just to pick up a test kit, I gave up and left. terrible customer service. And if you're an older person who is not good with using their devices to check in, good luck. there is no one there to help you. they have 2 lab techs, that's it. read more

Though some may dislike the kiosk system I love it. This little office has the best caring staff! Skilled phlebotomists!

This lab has 2 star which is too generous! I had a worst experience with one of the phlebotomist, Cherry ,she is rude and very unprofessional, I told her I don't want yo argue just do the blood test she movies me to other room and took the next patient , I told her I need to get back to work and her respond was then leave. I'm glad she didn't draw my blood, I'm sure she would hurt me. In other hand Diana was very nice and very helpful. She answered all my questions, she was very polite professional and gentle. One star that I'm leaving is only for her. read more

The truth is they are just as horrible and nasty as all the other reviews say they are. The owner needs to fire every single person there. No customer service or even human decency. Even when they have no one there, and just talking amongst themselves, if you do not have an appointment they tell you to piss off. This business should be reported to the chamber of commerce or better business bureau for their negligence and callous attitudes towards people in need of a vital services. The family members of those employees should be ashamed. read more
