Turns out they put in the wrong code.. She was so helpful and very friendly! The pre-op person Noel was very nice, friendly, and had a sense of humor.. My Anesthesiologist, Mrs Cho was very friendly with a soft, demeanor about her.. The whole team working together was a positive experience! I've been at this facility before and has had nothing but a great experience! The highlight was getting a call the next day from the pre-op guy Noel to see how I was doing! We were seen by Dr. Natalie T. Shum, MD. Unfortunately, the visit felt rushed and disrespectful. Dr. Shum was rude--she interrupted my mom mid-question (my mom was struggling to hear and speak up) and sharply told her to 'let me finish talking.' This made my mom feel dismissed and anxious. Despite the reason for visit being blood in stool (possible rectal issue), Dr. Shum did not perform a rectal exam or check the area as we expected for proper evaluation. When we brought a stool sample for culture (only a small amount needed per instructions), she refused it, and we had to go to another nurse instead--this felt inconsistent and unnecessary. Labs were done (including pending stool culture/pathogens), and she was discharged with viral gastroenteritis diagnosis and follow-up instructions, but the interaction left us feeling unheard and that care was substandard. Communication was poor, especially considering my mom's hearing issues--no accommodations were made. We expected more compassion and thoroughness from an ER, especially at a Cedars-Sinai affiliated facility. This experience was stressful and disappointing. Warning: Extremely Negligent and Unresponsive Gastroenterology Office…read more I had a very disappointing and dangerous experience with Dr. Daniel Eshaghian at United Gastroenterologists in Encino. After undergoing a colonoscopy and speaking directly with Dr. Daniel, he promised to prescribe follow-up medication for H. pylori. That was over two weeks ago--I have received no prescription, no follow-up call, and no report despite calling their office more than 10 times and leaving multiple messages. I am now experiencing bloody stool, stomach pain, and bloating, and this office has completely ignored my urgent medical condition. It feels like they perform procedures just to bill insurance, and then leave patients without proper care or communication. This level of negligence is unacceptable and could put someone's life at risk. If you care about your health, I strongly advise you to avoid this office. I will be reporting this to the Medical Board of California and insurance fraud division if I do not receive proper documentation or care. Patients deserve better.

When my two-year-old decided her Saturday morning must-have accessory would be a high fever, I high-tailed it to EUC, and as she tested positive for the FLU, I was positive this was only the beginning of this viral voyage. Elite Urgent Care saw a lot of our family that week, and although kicking off the holiday season at any urgent care isn't exactly ideal, our experience from first front desk phone call to actual physician assessment was exceptional. In addition to treating my girls- they took the time to examine ME- ensuring I had all the resources and meds necessary to expedite my own recovery, enabling me to multitask caring for my flu-infested offspring.
