Wish they let us leave 0 stars my appointment was at 3 I got there at 3:05 as I couldn't find the place signed in knocked on the window plenty of times nobody answered so I waited finally they open the door at 3:33 and take the girl who was waiting before me & tell me they can't take me because they close at 3:30? I said I've been here since 3:05 how is that fair the lady basically just said oh well we can't take you go to the other quest up the street & closed the door on me. OK, Ophelia is gone (yay) and Quest is back to 5 stars. Unfortunately, I have to come here every few months and everyone since Opheilia has been stellar. My most recent phlebotomist was Bernice. She was cheerful, friendly and, most importantly, quick and PAINLESS! I don't think I got these names right but Sheri (?) and Nezrin (??!) were both welcoming, kind and also quick and painless. Thank you ladies! My apologies if I messed up your names. QUEST please give these ladies a raise or at least a bonus. : ) The process is totally streamlined and efficient. I make an appointment online at My Quest. I arrive and check in using the link Quest texted to me, and less than a minute later, somebody calls my name. No waiting. First time at this clinic. I made an appt for 11:40 am- got there and waited until 12:05 pm and then walked out. What is the point of making an appt when you have to wait that long? 1. Waiting room too crowded and not enough chairs at safe distances 2. The lady drawing blood was cold and the poked holes are still sore. Same happened to my wife the day before. Horrible experience as we were walking in for out appointment the lab assistant was already screaming at an elderly man that they were not taking any more walk in appt at 3pm the man looked so confused she could have been so much nicer about the situation, we had an appt at 3pm we were 10 minutes late but it was just a drop off she changed her tune afterwards but the whole clinic had a "I just want to leave " vibe started switching off the waiting room light while we were still still in the waiting room so unprofessional just avoid this place there's so many other quest diagnostic facilities read more

Worst Quest I have ever been!!. My phlebotomist was very unprofessional and rude. I can't remember her name (Far....). She has no manners. I walk in and she asks "give me your order". Excuse me? Did they ever teach you basic manners? I'm shocked at how they can hire someone so low quality. No wonder they had a lot of appointments available unlike other Quest locations. Also all the bad reviews here are completely true. Unfortunately I had to come here since it was the only location with available time. I will never return to this dump. She also sounded so sick like she had the cold, she sounded congested, if you're sick you should not be working especially since a lot older patients come in. I asked if she is sick and she got so offended! She responded by saying "no I'm not sick, ARE YOU SICK"? Hopefully they get rid of this rude insecure person with zero manners. read more

Scheduled appointment, arrived early, checked in at the kiosk and waited. And waited and waited. Tried to ask why my name wasn't on the board, but was blown off five times by staff taking customers with later appointments. They take such great care of me ALWAYS, and they go the extra mile. This is the 2nd time my doctors office messed up, and I went to the lab thinking my labs were in and they were NOT. Sheri helped me fix everything, and she was so patient and kind! I cannot tell you how comforting it is to know they provide such great care. There was a bit of a wait since they do walk-ins only. I went in for routine bloodwork. Came back with a purple bruise where the needle was placed. I've had my bloodwork done before and there should not be any bruising so the needle was placed too far in I'm assuming. Also there is a bump in the area where the needle was. I don't recommend the 5620 wilber location unless you are fine with risking bruising. read more

No receptionist, they hide behind a locked door quickly grabbing a cust and heading to the back. Made an appt, they ran 45 min late so why bother. Extremely understaffed and rude. Definitely not a sterile environment not by a long shot. Staff rude as well, use other Quest locations they are not all like this. read more

The worst part of this experience was having a video playing in the lobby repeating "make an appt for little to no wait time :)" and "friendly and helpful service :D" when: 1.) We ended up waiting a 1 hour longer than our appt. 2.) They skipped us because we weren't in the lobby when they had a "wait outside and text you when ready" option on check-in. [why have that option if your staff doesn't even follow it/know about it?] 3.) When asked questions they close the door in your face. 4.) When you try to explain the situation and that maybe there is something wrong with their system all they do is blame you. I get that they were behind schedule. I can understand that that happens, especially in healthcare. But geez was this whole experience disappointing in regards to efficiency and professionalism. At least shut the tv off so the people in the waiting room don't have to listen to lies on repeat. read more

DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR PREGNANCY GLUCOSE 3 HOUR TEST!!!!!!! They do not have a waiting area! All of the other quest diagnostics I've been to for my three hour glucose screening has had a waiting area inside with reclining chairs where you can sit, and they put a type of catheter inside of your vein, and they draw blood from it every hour for three hours without poking you multiple times. This location does not have a waiting area so you literally have to get poked four separate times which absolutely destroyed my arm in my veins. I was bruised and looked like a drug addict for two weeks. It is extremely painful to get poked in the same area every hour four times in a row, when you do your glucose screening you're not supposed to move around or do any kind of exercises and they told me that I have to go and sit in the car and wait for an hour until my next test. It was literally 108° that day I had to go Get in the car drive back home and then 15 minutes later come back again and drive back to the location to get my blood drawn once an hour for four hours straight. It was the most miserable experience especially being pregnant and I'm sure that me going back-and-forth to the car to my house, and all of that stuff definitely affected the levels of my glucose, save yourself the unbearable, pain and discomfort and go to another quest location that has a waiting area. read more

I had an appointment at 3:40pm and showed up five minutes before it. I used their self check in tablet, scanned my ID and insurance card, and not even 10 minutes later, I got called up. I was here for some bloodwork and Jan drew my blood. He was very quiet, but made sure I was okay while he drew my blood as I was getting a bit uneasy. The whole process took about 20 minutes. Parking is in the Cedars-Sinai hospital parking lot and I paid $1 for my 20 minute visit. read more

Sherry who was the reception was not polite what so ever. I requested to receive a text message when it was my turn. I returned once I received the text message and I went up to the reception area and in a rude tone she told me to step back and I need to check in to the right at the kiosk in which I told her I already had checked in. She told me to have a seat....she continuously was yelling out patient information and told "Rosa" that the patient she had called was there. After waiting another 20 minutes they finally called me up after watching everyone that came after me taken back. She never asked me for my requisition form nor ID or insurance card while I was waiting and once she realized that they had made mistakes she was scrambling. The phlebotomist took me back and made me wait at the chair while they processed the rest of my paper work. Phlebotomist informed me of the possible cost and needed a card for approval which I handed him. I then receive two papers, one was a statement and one was a receipt. She had processed the credit card without my knowledge and I had no idea that she was charging my card. Phlebotomist stated it was only a credit card to put on hold. They charged it without my authorization. When I explained it to her she was back tracking and saying there was a miscommunication and I told her she had 20 minutes to do all this paperwork and ask for my approval of charging my card she started to lie saying that "Rosa" had called my cell twice which she never called once. Not a good experience at all to the point that I am calling corporate and letting them know. read more

This place has gone down hill big time! It reminded us of a place in a 3rd world country. The doors are covered in, I'm not sure what, and need to be re painted. They were very far behind and we heard the people who work there inside laughing and talking as we waited way past the appointment time. We finally knocked to see why they were so far behind. The talking and laughing stopped and a woman came to the door with such a rude attitude and she didn't seem to give a crap how late they were running behind. The funny thing is, the TV in the lobby was advertising for Quest, saying that if you make an appointment in advance, you'll have little to no wait time, which definitely wasn't the case we experienced. The woman who came to the door was so rude and said something that we couldn't understand. Before we could ask what she said, she closed the door and didn't come back to let us know how much longer the wait would be, so we had no choice but to leave. I had a doctor appointment to go to and thanks to Quest not being on time, or even close to it, I was 30 minutes late to my Doctor appointment and almost crashed rushing to get there. The people who work there need to get it together !!! I know teenagers who have it way more together and would have that place easily running on schedule and looking a lot cleaner and they'd be a lot nicer and professional. read more

The location of this Quest Diagnostics is so conveniently located next to my doctors office so all I have to do is walk over. The process to sign in is seamless and very easy, you type in your first and last name and wait to be called in. Once called in drawing blood takes all of about 5 min. I love it! Fast and efficient. I would suggest parking on the street so that you don't have to pay for their parking. read more

I went there to get some blood work and my I told the lady my right arm is easier to draw blood from because the vein is bigger and she just rolled her eyes at me. This place is the worst of the worst. I made an appointment weeks ago, and even after getting all their emails and texts confirming it, it was not in the system when I went to the office. They said "you might've set up the appointment at our Etiwanda Ave. location, go there." I did. They had no record of it either. Waste of time. I set up a new appointment and went a few days later. The place was brimming with people, most of whom did not have an appointment but were waiting there for hours as walk-ins. The place is a cubbyhole and short-staffed. Anyhow, I got the testing done, but one test was for a biological specimen that I had to come back with later. I set up another appointment. I came back with the specimen, only to be told that my insurance was not going to cover that test. Jeez, you think you could have told me that when you gave me the fricking container to put it in? Surely you ran my insurance before you even started the whole process. Enormous waste of time. This is why I try as hard as I can to not have any testing like this done more than once every two years. The labs are all just the bane of humanity, like the post office. Labcorp, Quest, all of them are the same - BAD. The phlebotomists have to deal with the dregs of humanity all day long and hate their jobs. Needed a blood test, no one else waiting. The man sitting at the desk to me to sign in using their computer which I did. As there was no one else waiting I asked if he had any idea as to how long I needed to wait. Told me to have a seat. A young girl walked in without a mask, said she forgot her's in her car, could she please get one. You would have thought she asked him for a million $$. Making remarks he finally got up and got her one. She said that she had a confirmed appt but was a few minutes late. He kept ignoring her finally someone from the back came out and she explained her problem again asking how long she would need to wait, should she come back in a short time. The old man who was in the front desk doesn't understand anything and very slow. The staff who is working inside are very rude . The old man told Me to check in and wait so that they will Call me according to the arrival. For sometime no patients came in with appointments I was the only one waiting there but they never called me. Waited for 1 hour and then the rude old lady came outside and told without appointments they can not take they are full and I have to come back later with my appointment time. The old guy only told me to wait and after one hour the rude lady is asking me to leave . They should have told me this earlier not after 1 hour. The old man said they're not having a rush hour so I can do it that's why I waited and that rude lady asking me to leave after an hour. So disrespectful and rude This quest is in a main location where lot of patients comes and goes. Because this is in Tarzana Medical center. Please change those staff and train them to be polite to patients . I never seen such rude arrogant bad staff in any medical clinic in my lifetime.
