This place is the worst. Don't waste your time fine another diagnostic center! Come if you want to wait for a long time with an appointment!

I was here few times and not coming back to this location. Extremely slow phased place. Even when you book an appointment you get to wait 30 to 40 mins! The check in person keep letting people who came after me to go in first! Once you go in, it is quick. I will try different quest location for my next lab apt. read more

I would give 0 stars. Super Rude front desk lady and so unorganized . Sherry- lady in the front desk- has a terrible attitude. She doesn't know how to communicate and very disrespectful behavior. I had to go there many time for a quick blood test and every single time she argued disgusting way with me about simple paperworks and appointment. Not even giving me a chance to talk. It will be nice if she stays home and learn how to communicate first. And may be she can get a job then! And I am sure there are other places I can go for blood test with so much better attitude. Avoid this location at all costs. Overbooked - every time, not enough workers, always behind schedule, dirty walls, self scheduling and checkin machine breaks down all the time. Workers can't find any information in the system. Honestly - take your worst run government facility and multiply it by 10 and that's what we are dealing with - a real 3rd or 4th world operation. These guys are taking in the insurance cash and don't care one bit about the patient experience. Perfect example of greedy corporate chains putting the screws to the people that need help the most and laughing to the bank the whole way. read more

The people in the patient-facing office in Tarzana are great and are worthy of 5 Stars. Having said that, everything that happens after is worthy of ZERO STARS. Hence, my three star rating. The blood draw was flawless and painless. And the staff was very friendly. But billing...ugh!! Despite my having given the lab my current insurance card upon showing up for the tests reflected on this invoice, Quest incorrectly chose to bill my FORMER INSURANCE COMPANY.... Not surprisingly that bill was rejected by my former insurance company. Not sure why they chose to do that when I went out of my way to give the front office my insurance card, and they actually took the time to copy it. I now received a copy of this bill in the mail, showing a $1,600 balance (nothing paid by the WRONG insurance company)...upsetting enough. But when I went on the Quest website to correct the issue, and update my primary insurance, it said that my bill was submitted, and it asked if this was SECONDARY INSURANCE. I'm just trying to get Quest paid, and off my back. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET THIS CORRECTED? Meanwhile finding a phone number to call on their website is horribly difficult, and then you find that they are open 8-5...so when you get home after working a full day, receive this INCORRECT bill, and you call them...they aren't there. Undoubtedly, by design. Last week, when I discovered this, I spoke to Quest's "patient advocacy" department who assured me this would be taken care of the same day (Friday, 1/17). Apparently it wasn't. This has happened TWICE since my insurance company changed on July 1. Not sure why Quest doesn't just PURGE the old company data? Back Office Nightmare!!! I made an appointment for 945 this morning and was taken in shortly there after. Angie was my phlebotomist and she did a great job. We even chatted it up a bit, and she was very personable. Parking only cost me a dollar since I was only there for about 20 minutes. You can park on the street if you find parking but it is rare. Parking lot is brutal as people fight for parking spots, and are extremely rude. Waiting room is small but the staff is friendly. Kudos to Angie. You can enter in off of Burbank or Clarke. Im going to make it very simple when it comes to reviewing this facility. Sherry at front desk, is a lady with a bad attitude. My suggestion is that if you don't like what you are doing or if you don't enjoy communicating with people you can simply quit your job and stay home ! As simple as that. This is the worst quest i've been to and i've been to 5 other locations. The parking situation is bad. It is an expensive lot or you can try and find street parking or park illegally in grocery store lot. There was virtually no wait which was nice and the lady was friendly. However, I am attaching a picture of what my arm looked like after which has never happened before. Also taking off the tape was more painful than ever because of how they did it. Getting my blood drawn also hurt and left a mark which it usually doesn't. read more

But what I witnessed how other people were treated was AWFUL & I almost couldn't believe I was in a medical setting that's supposed to be professional ! The girl at the front seat I really wish I would of got her name but she has glasses and was younger compared to the 2 other lady's I saw she was straight up RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL! Majority of the ppl waiting to be seen were senior citizens they're alone with no one to help them and these employees were rude cutting off ppl while speaking and not helpful my self & 2 other ppl had to help the elders I'm in the health care field myself for several years and never once have I treated a patient in that manor! I will NEVER schedule at this location ever again I really hope ppl do their research before booking here & hope management reads these too. SUPER RUDE staff. Totally disorganized and they got very pissed off at me for having two separate blood work orders. They spoke to me like it was my fault and overall were total jerks. Very short with the customers. There was an elderly lady with a walk and not once did they open the door for her to attempt to make a decent human interaction. By far the worst lab I've ever been to. I needed to get work done and made an appointment for 2:30pm. When I got there, a lady walked in to drop off a sample. They were short handed so the nurse told her that she needed to wait until she was done with a patient. It's not what she said, but how she said it. She was very condescending and it upset the woman so she left the sample on the counter. The nurses continued talking bad and negatively about this woman for the next 15/20 minutes while threatening to throw the sample away. It was the way she was addressed which made me understand why she was unwilling to wait. I have had quite a few labs done in the past and didn't have too much waiting time whenever I make an appt. However, here I'm still waiting and it's been over 45 min with appt and was not addressed once. Overall the staff has no customer service skills and showed very rude behavior from my first experience. The wait time, with appointment is also much longer than expected. Go to a different quest if possible. read more

3 stars for being FAST! I was literally in and out in 15 minutes, I had an appointment to get blood drawn. So why the 3 stars? All three of the women working here lacked "bedside" manner. They were rude lacked personality and literally couldn't take a joke. If you are going to work with people at least pretend to be nice, there is no way they were all having a bad day. The office was very clean and the clinical staff was very friendly yet professional. The clinician who draw my blood was very nice and calm. Finding the location of the office was quite confusing. At first we went to the Brown building thinking that they were located there. Apparently the Quest Diagnostic clinic is inside the Providence hospital. read more

Before making an appointment at this location, I read the reviews. I was a little uncertain since the only reviews were not good, lol I had no choice because I needed to get my blood draw before work and also had to fast. My appt was at 8:15 am, I showed up a little before 8 to check in and was taken back right away. The lab was VERY clean, so maybe it's changed since these other yelpers wrote their reviews? Janet was my phlebotomist. She was pleasant, professional, and used a butter fly needle because I'm kind of a wuss. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Awesome. read more

Note to self: don't ever go back to this location. I've never been to a lab as disorganized as this place. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment time but from start to finish, were there just under an hour for what was supposed to be a 15 minute appointment. The technician was nice enough and even offered to have my son lie down on the table as I thought he might pass out. Unfortunately, he couldn't access the table until she cleared all the stuff stored on it, so we waited patiently. She also gave my son, a minor, the form to review for changes - I had to review it - she had entered our address and Insurance incorrectly. It was just and odd experience and I will hold out for an appointment at West Hills or Agoura next time. read more

This is a hard review, because my previous experiences here have been decent, but today was a mess. I had a 7:30 appointment. I showed up at 7:15. My appointment should have given me priority over the 20 people who had just walked in. It didn't. I was ignored until the receptionist handed a bill with all my medical information to a different patient and tried to make her pay my invoice. I finally had blood drawn at 7:50 by Shakes the Clown. The guy was clearly new at this and nervous as hell. I felt bad for him, but shaky hands, a needle and my veins are a bad combo. At one point, he pulled off a vial of my blood and stuck it in his pocket. Still not sure what was going on there. My hand is bruised and still bleeding 2.5 hours later. Boy are the people who work here rude! They wanted me to do half my blood testing in the morning then come back two hours later to draw blood for another test that they only offer in the afternoons. Why would I do two different blood tests in one day when it can all be done at once?! When I asked then this the person at the front desk became very impatient and was like "YOU REALLY WANT TO FAST FOR ANOTHER TWO HOURS?!" I ended up leaving, stopped by Lab Corp across the street by the Vons right after and had an excellent and quick experience. No attitude and they did all the testing at one time. read more

I went to this laboratory around 1 pm without appointment and the waiting period was no more than 15 minutes (there were only 2 people before me). The receptionist (I did not get her name) was courteous. The hospital did not send the right orders but Angie - phlebotomist - was able to get the information/ paperwork I needed in order to continue with the blood tests. She was very professional, proactive, kind, and had great communication skills. She is the main reason why I give this place 5 stars. This place (18370 Burbank Blvd, Ste 108, Tarzana, CA, 91356) is shockingly bad and terribly rude. I had a 12:00pm appointment, walked in and a woman was standing at the window waiting to talk to someone trying to ask a question and was not acknowledged once for the 45 min. I was there. 20 minutes later an older man walked in to drop a container off. As there is nowhere to drop anything off in the very small waiting room and as nobody would acknowledge him or any of the 8 people waiting, he just stood there not knowing what to do. Finally after about a half an hour a female employee walks back into the office from her lunch break with a big gulp in her hand. I felt so sorry for the older man trying to drop his sample off I said 'oh, excuse me..." and the very nasty employee says "don't talk to me, I'm still on my lunch" and slams the door on us as she's going back into the office. Horrible. I can literally say all of us in the waiting room were shocked. Not one person was seen or acknowledged in the 45 min I was there. I had enough and got up and left. There are plenty of other Quest's around, including the one across the parking lot in the hospital. Avoid this one at all costs! I certainly will never go back there again. read more

Horrible customer service by Shery at the front desk. I made an 7am appointment for my mother, so when a woman in front of me in the line told me that she DID NOT have an APPOINTMENT she let me sign in in the waiting room before her. After signing in, we had to go wait outside while 2 other people were getting helped ( I do not know if those people had appointments but they were just already there when I arrived) So then Shery (the receptionist) came outside, and for some reason she called the lady who did not have an appointment before me! I explained to Shery that I DID have an appointment at 7am and Shery denied that anyone can have an appointment at 7.am, she told me that appointments started at 7.15, I insisted but she very firmly told me over 3 times that I did not have an appointment, so she took the other woman and helped her first (Regardless that I did sign in before the other woman). Sadly, for some reason the bar code they provided on you appointment confirmation disappeared of my phone after 7. am ( which is very stupid) . Later when I was finally being helped and Shery finally introduced my mother's information on the computer, she came to the room where me and my mom where waiting and said very quietly "You were right" and left, she said it so quietly and fast that I barely heard her, she never apologized . So after my mom got her bloodwork out I told Sherry that I did have an appointment and that she is letting people without appointments go before the ones who already have one and that she should AT LEAST ask who have appointments, well she had the audacity to tell me that ALL people who were helped before me had appointments ( when I know for a fact that that is not true) She never ever apologized.
