They are great and caring. The only person preventing an overall 5 stars is due to their physical therapist named DAVE. He is the most sarcastic, snide, condescending and unbearable person I have ever met in the health care space. And having to deal with his careless, nonchalant attitude while in recovery made my recovery very uncomfortable. He blatantly would disrespect his coworkers and doctors in front of me and treated me as if I was stupid if I would inquire about ANYTHING. You can feel the discomfort/patience of the case managers, nurses, doctors and anyone that dealt with him while I was there. Almost like they know that's just how he is daily. He mentioned that he has been there for 30 years, so he gives off an "I don't care, I'm retiring soon" attitude which translates to the way he treats people. Anyways, 5 stars to the nurses and docs. But my experience with Dave was just horrible.

Yes, their office is too small and they have many many patients. That happens when you're good at your job! I don't care if they are busy. I care about how they take care of me, and they take GREAT care of me. I was told they treat kids, they asked…read morehow old I said 7 and the women on the phone said come in we will xray and at least stabilize it. I got there at 9 pm. We checked in, waited 45 mins, then were brought back to a room with No. Air conditioning, and waited for an hour . It was so hot we had to sit in the hallway. The "nurse or whoever she was" someone in scrubs was in the hallway and I asked if they can take the xray this way the dr doesn't come back after an hour and 45 mins and then we have to wait for an xray. I also asked if she could bring my daughter ice in which she brought a really hard pack of ice that had no bend or softness to it, which obviously hurts to lay on a swollen wrist. She said let me ask. 15 more minutes, I found out there is NO xray machine. The NP came out to talk to us in the hallway, very nice. She told us they have no xray machine and she needs an xray. I understood that which is why I was there in the first place. I asked her if she can stabilize it at least until we can get her to a doctor tomorrow. She then said yes. When she was gone for a while, I walked down the hallway to just say we were gonna go home watch the emergency room at this point were there for two hours. That's when I saw her and the woman that I've mentioned in the scrubs in the office with a wrist brace met for an adult. It was the same size breeze I wore after my wrist surgery! Ivan said if you guys don't have anything to treat a kid do you have anything to stabilize it so I can at least get home. They said of course, I said great because I don't wanna put her in a brace that is bigger than what she needs and it's not going to do anything or potentially make it worse. The NP then brought out the material that she placed my daughter's wrist on and then wrapped it. This was all done in the hallway by the front reception. And then paid a $30 co-pay which I think is ridiculous. I have no idea what I was paying for it. We left my daughter was in so much pain at night. She wanted us to remove what they used to stabilize her wrist. What a joke it was two inserts from a shoe and an ace bandage. The inserts have a curved down obviously because they use them flipped over. I'm not a doctor but in my head, I don't know how a potentially broken wrist would be good stabilized in a down direction. I am completely unhappy with my experience. The fact that there was a sleep study going on in the room two rooms ahead of us with a huge queen or king-size bed. I also thought that was weird. We're in an urgent care with sick people and you have a woman in there doing a sleep study you're also applying all of the things to her scalp with the door wide open and her having no privacy. I can't imagine receiving an additional bill outside of my co-pay being that there is nothing done, I will contact my lawyer to fight charge. Next time, please be honest in the services that you offer! To have a seven year-old at your facility until 11 PM just to be told that you can't do anything when she's in pain is awful. I would've just brought her to the emergency room. I'm a fan of all types of music but to have rap/ hip hop played at that volume in an environment where people are sick and there are small children seemed unprofessional to me

This is the only place where we felt like we were treated like people and not cattle. My father previously had a procedure at at another place and got botched and had tons of pain after. In this office I got two angiograms, and during my second angiogram, three stents were installed in my artery. I've spent enough time in hospitals over the years to know that kindness can sometimes feel like a limited resource. Walking into West Hills Hospital, I honestly expected good medical care. What I didn't expect was to meet one of the most compassionate, respectful, and genuinely invested medical teams I've ever encountered. Dr. Namavar, the nurses, the social workers--every single person we met treated not only our family, but our loved one struggling with addiction, with a level of dignity and respect that frankly brought us to tears. Addiction carries so much stigma, yet not once did anyone make him feel like "just another addict." They saw a human being. That matters more than words can express. Our family had a very specific plan to safely transition him from the hospital directly into a rehabilitation facility. Every concern we had was heard. Every request was taken seriously. The team coordinated with the rehabilitation center, communicated with us every step of the way, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Instead of making us feel like difficult family members, they made us feel like partners in his care. Then there was Dr. Namavar. I've met a lot of physicians. I've never met one quite like him. He sat down--not because he had to, but because he wanted to--and shared his own personal experiences with loss and drug overdoses. He wasn't reading from a script or giving a lecture. He was connecting with another human being. You could actually see the walls come down in the room. It was one of the most genuine moments I've ever witnessed between a physician and a patient. To the nurses: thank you for treating us like family. To the social workers: thank you for fighting just as hard for the next step as you did for the one we were in. To Dr. Namavar: thank you for reminding us that medicine is as much about the heart as it is about science. And finally... this is probably the weirdest compliment I've ever written, but if life ever decides to throw another medical emergency my way, I sincerely hope it has the courtesy to happen somewhere near West Hills Hospital. That's how much confidence you've given me. You didn't just care for a patient. You cared for an entire family. Thank you for giving us hope when we needed it most.
