I was fortunate to have Dr. St Hilaire after testing me handle the solution of my veins that weren't doing their job to function their appointed task of sending fluid upwards to me heart and not settle in my lower legs and ankles. They have a wonderful surgical center in Tarzana right on Ventura Blvd and Wilber with ample parking in the back. First of all after four treatments of the lazer surgery my legs feel a great deal lighter and might I say for an older fellow, a terrific sense of normalcy. I will touch base with Dr St Hilaire after the final Ultra Sound test in West Hills. It was an astonishing enlightening and pleasant experience. So how can you accomplish this with a visit to a surgery center. Well San Fernando Valley Group made it look easy. First of all everybody was friendly , as well as professionally expert in their working through the procedure called Endovenous Ablation. The superlative staff starting with the nurses Madina and Jaime were as good as it gets in supporting me through this procedure. Nicole the anaesthesiologist was so nice as she explained to me how she would make me comfortable and I would say happy during the 30 minute or so surgery. Tim as I called him "the man"who was the technician to handle the lazer was stellar in his expertise and pleasant demeanour.I got a chance to meet Lydia the office manager and I must compliment the way she manages this fine establishment. The staff works effortlessly to make you feel safe and comfortable in every way. As my lady who accompanied me there stated the place was also immaculate. Very Disappointing Experience - Nerve Injury After Vein Ablation…read more After battling sciatica for two years and undergoing spinal fusion nearly a year ago, I finally regained much of my ability to walk. I went into this vein ablation expecting further relief. Instead, I am now able to walk only about 10% of what I could before the procedure. I was never shown a diagram or clearly informed where the procedure would be performed, nor was I told beforehand that Dr. Sant Hilaire would not personally perform it. Instead, the procedure was performed by a nurse practitioner. Immediately following the ablation, I developed significant pain, burning, and numbness in my left leg and foot. An EMG later confirmed sural nerve neuropathy. At my one-month follow-up with Dr. Sant Hilaire, his only recommendation was Gabapentin, compression stockings, and another follow-up in a month. Unfortunately, my condition has continued to worsen, especially the pain and numbness, and my mobility remains severely limited. I am deeply disappointed with this practice, particularly the lack of communication before the procedure and what I consider inadequate follow-up care after such a serious complication. I trusted this practice with my health and expected far better.

Dr. Fung and his entier office staff listens to your symptoms, finds the correct treatment for your family, and works with your family to make good health happen! He made a late Friday appointment to accommodate my employer. He praised my brother for being in the process of quitting smoking and really worked with him during the procedure as he was very nervous. Finally, when we got to CVS to pick up the RX called in, the pharmacist was out of that pain medication and said she could not reach the doctor so it would have to wait until Monday. However, when I called it was transferred to him directly and he cleared things up within seconds. Growing older is never painless but when you have good people who know what they are doing and treats every person with dignity and respect growing old isn't so bad. Warning the parking is $2.00 every 15 minutes but their is street parking and a loading area for after the procedure.

Their answering service days they are out to lunch from 12-2pm. We call back after 2pm and no one answered. We called the Tarzana office to find out what happened and to reschedule. We explained the issues and Magina at the office apologized and explained that there was a miscommunication. That they would send the blood test over to our physician's office. Which by the way wasn't received. She said Rhona, the scheduler, miscommunicated.Nevertheless we were told we would get a call from here the next morning. We never got one. So, we called the Tarzana office again. Then we were greeted by a very unprofessional staff member who was not only rude but borderline racist. She made smirky remarks and hung up the phone. Wow!. So we called back and explained. They simply say, they don't know who answered the call. Why is it so hard to reschedule? Why were we mistreated and why is it so hard to get in touch with the right person? This is so not consistent with the reviews that I read. Something is very wrong here. Someone didn't do their job and someone lied. I don't like to make bad reviews. The doctor may be good but the staff needs help. This is by far the worst experience I had with a doctor's office over trying to reschedule. We had no choice but to cancel. Even if they try to talk to the staff, those staff members would still hold a grudge. You lost a patient over a simple rescheduling matter that could have prevented a whole ball of mess.

I had Laser treatments (three in each leg) along with sclerotherapy (three times in each leg) I was so afraid of doing this, I am a complete baby with needles. Dr. Lee and her staff from nurses to office personal truly made this experience a good one (because hey it is kind of a weird thing to be awake for) with GREAT results. Beware of anesthesiologists Hoaky Lam, DO, and Andrei Kopylov, MD, and L&D Nurse named Faith (last…read morename unknown). I had my first baby there and will not be going back for my second. The only reason I went there in the first place was because my OB was affiliated with them, but my OB has since retired. Lam started the epidural at 5am, but didn't put me on a pump with continuous medication so it wore off. I notified L&D nurse Faith at around 9am that I could feel my feet and she told me to "just deal with it." Faith was also irritated by my questions once I started pushing. She sighed and LITERALLY SLAPPED THE INSIDES OF MY LEGS WHILE THEY WERE SPREAD WIDE OPEN AND I WAS PUSHING and answered in a dismissive/sarcastic tone. She was punctuating each word with a slap. I was vulnerable, in pain, and felt incredibly humiliated. I didn't consent to Faith touching me in that manner so it was assault and battery. There were two medical and/or nursing students in training that day who also witnessed this. My OB came in, listened to my complaints about feeling pain despite having the epidural, and called in a new anesthesiologist. Dr. Kopylov came in, pumped meds in the needle in my back and within minutes my baby popped right out AFTER 3 HOURS OF PUSHING WITHOUT AN EPIDURAL EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE NEEDLE IN MY BACK FOR 11 HOURS. Lam never came back to check on me after 5am and L&D nurse Faith refused to call him for me. I consulted with an unaffiliated anesthesiologist who said it was incredibly unusual for the anesthesiologist to not follow up with the patient after starting the epidural, and it was even more unusual for the nurse to not call him back after I complained that it wore off. Moreover, my time spent pushing might have been drastically reduced if I had been relaxed from the epidural, but instead I was tense for 3 hours which probably delayed delivery. After my baby was born, my husband and I were enjoying the "Golden Hour" with our baby boy. My baby latched immediately. While he was literally latched and breastfeeding, Faith came over, without us asking for her input, and leaned over, stuck her finger at where my baby was latched and said, "I'm trained in lactation and he's not hungry!" My doula (unaffiliated with Providence) witnessed everything and made a complaint on my behalf. The reason I had an unaffiliated doula is because of prior stories I had heard from others who gave birth at Cedars/Providence, and they suggested having an advocate. In hindsight, I should have just avoided Cedars/Providence altogether. No one from Providence ever contacted me about the complaint my doula made on my behalf. I tried calling Kopylov and Lam to find out what happened with the epidural but no one returned my call. Needless to say, I won't be going back for our second baby.
