It's not often that you can say you genuinely enjoyed a lab visit, but this location made everything so easy. I'll definitely be coming back here for any future lab work and would highly recommend this Quest Diagnostics location!

I had a very disappointing experience at Quest because of the way I was treated by Carolina. I…read morearrived about 2 1/2 hours before my scheduled 2:30 p.m. appointment and politely checked in several times to ask if I could be seen earlier since multiple walk-in patients were being called before me. Despite arriving so early, I wasn't seen until 2:40 p.m. What upset me the most was Carolina's attitude. When I asked her a question, she abruptly shut the door in my face in a way that felt rude and disrespectful. Afterward, I could hear her and a coworker laughing together in the back, which made me feel very uncomfortable. When I asked the coworker for Carolina's name, she ignored me several times, and I had to ask four times before getting an answer. They continued giggling, making me feel like they were joking about the situation instead of treating me professionally. I understand that delays can happen, but there is no excuse for disrespectful customer service. Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, especially when they are already waiting for medical services. I hope management addresses this behavior so future patients have a better experience.

There is hidden extra lab fee of 55 usd each person if don't have health insurance. I found this location after seaching on yelp and on google. I sent my family (5 persons) to this Sherman Oaks location on May 10th 2022 for walk-in covid test. They were foreign and not understand english well. I sent them there after reading the website of the price. https://medconciergela.com/csherman-oaks-location/ They were really disappointed that there was another extra 55 usd fee, that made them need to pay 235 each person. I was the one that sending them there and very disappointed too, i felt very guilty to bring them to very expensive covid test location. It's very high charge for covid test. Not recommended. Especially if you don't have health insurance. Please update your website page https://medconciergela.com/csherman-oaks-location/ to include 55 usd lab fee if we don't have health insurance. Update: I called their customer service or operator and someone said and sent me text that I need to click it before I can see the extra lab fee. The website is not clear if we need to click it to show that extra fee if we don't have insurance. Also my family were doing walk-in, not appointment. I saw the price list on that website page then told them to go there without clicking. The point is that page (without clicking anything) doesn't show the extra fee, and we were disappointed of that. The reason is if we knew that information before hand, we would go somewhere else cheaper since they were 5 people. If it's 1 person only, we didn't really care. Since they were 5 people, so imagine how much money they could save 5 multiple by 55 usd. 1175 usd total for covid test was expensive.

Their prices are some of the most competitive I've found in the area, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The staff are friendly, the facility is clean, and scheduling an appointment is very easy. They often accommodate last-minute bookings and even walk-ins, which is a huge plus. The only downsides are that parking can be tricky at times. There are a few spaces in the back, but you may need to park along Ventura if they're full. Also, on a few visits, it took multiple attempts to find a good vein before starting the IV. Overall, the combination of affordable pricing, convenience, and friendly staff has made this my go-to place for IV therapy for years.

Quest has eliminated a proper reception desk, which forces patients who are dropping off test…read morespecimens or paperwork to wait on line. What should be a simple drop off is now a 45-60 wait, as a "walk-in". This is not efficient for the paying customers, and exploits sick people in need for business profits. Why treat people like this? To save money paying for a reception? Treating patients as employees? Patients don't work for you, Quest. You make money off of us, that isn't good enough for you?? You put your clinicians into the awful position of exercising this cruel treatment on regular people. How do they feel about this exploitation? This is not how business works. You offer a service that expects specimen drop off, it is unacceptable to demand patients wait as a "walk-in" "appointment". Drop offs are NOT appointments. And your sick patients are not yours to expect to do your work for you or wait until you find time between other sick patients. Doctors send you business. Behave like you deserve to earn it, Quest.
