It was extremely itchy on Thursday and by the next day it was very swollen.I went in on Sunday, Obviously it's hard not to scratch even after using Benadryl and Ibuprofen. The woman that saw me wasn't even a doctor she was a nurse practitioner (NP) which I found out later while reading my visit paperwork. she didn't mention this and also was wearing a white coat as if she was a doctor that's very misleading!! And there should be some sort of law of uniform to define the difference! Her demeanor was brash and not very friendly! she also said I had scratched it with my nail and that's why it was swollen and infected that there was no bite and no insect involved she proscribed a ointment which almost burnt my ear off Mupirocin ointment and amoxicillin. First complaint is her rushing to get an easy result without much care or concern, second wearing a white coat pretending to be an actual doctor, and third her demeanor, attitude and results within less than 5minuets tops!! please do better! And be transparent I'm very sure most people don't know they are seeing NP!! As opposed to a doctor, maybe they should wear another color coat to let people choose if they want to be addressed by a doctor or Np, there are so many urgent cares in the area! Three days later, Labcorp called me to schedule an appointment, explaining that it takes 48 hours for faxes to come through. Ok. I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told they couldn't find my orders because they only keep faxes for 24 hours. So let me get this straight--you need 48 hours to receive a fax, 3 days to make an appt, but you only retain it for 24 hours? Make that make sense. The bald man working at the front desk refused to provide his name when I asked. He was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. Rather than trying to help resolve the issue, he argued with me and offered no solution. If you're representing a healthcare company and interacting with patients, refusing to identify yourself while treating them disrespectfully is unacceptable. To make matters worse, this location has consistently been one of the worst places I've had blood drawn. Routine blood work shouldn't feel like you're a training dummy or a pincushion. I'd honestly rather pay out of pocket somewhere else than come back to this Labcorp. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that values its patients' time and provides competent, professional service.

She was personable, professional, good humored and skilled. She got me on the first stick! Definitely the best Quest Diagnostics! Quick, professional and easy! This Quest Diagnostics is located on the 3rd floor of a medical building next to Providence Holy Cross hospital in Mission Hills. Parking is located in a subterranean parking lot beneath the building. The lot price is $1.00 per 1/2 hour for a maximum of $7.00. When I arrived at 12:30pm on a Monday, parking was easy to find. Quest Diagnostics was a little busy when I arrived but the line moved quickly. I checked in on the fixed tablet at the counter and took a seat in the clean lobby. Within 10 minutes, Kendra called me to sign paperwork and sent back to a room where she took my blood. 3 out of 5 phlebotomists usually have trouble drawing from me. Kendra has no issue and was able to draw on the first stick. Kendra was awesome! She was friendly, professional and skilled. Thank you Kendra! There are other Quest Diagnostics in the area, some with free parking but this Quest is the best that I have seen so far.

Both of my children were under three & a half years old during both visits, which says everything about how skilled & gentle she is. Both of my kids had their blood drawn in less than 10 minutes total, which is unbelievable for children that young. One poke & she gets it done. Calm, confident, gentle, & extremely professional. She is always punctual, on time, & professional, which I truly appreciate as a parent. I love everything about this service A through Z. I will never again try to schedule appointments at labs, sit in waiting rooms, or expose my kids to sick people just to get their annual blood work done. Having this done in the comfort of my own home is priceless. During the second visit, my husband was present. He was not there the first time. He was left in complete WOW at how smoothly, professionally, & effortlessly she drew blood from two kids under three & a half years old. It would be impossible to get a lab draw from him outside the house without sedation. And sedation is far from easy as well. My son needs lab work every 6 months to monitor since he is on multiple meds and we would not be able to do this if it weren't for her. Sherrell comes to our house, understands our situation, and manages to get blood from him and does it all calmly and safely. I believe she is based far away from us (we're in the valley) and she comes early in the morning anyway so that we can try to get him before he starts eating because we need fasting blood work. I took the time to write this because we have so much gratitude for this service.

I was wearing a mask however I'm sure that our home was full of germs because we had already for about four days. this means that potentially, I'm sure that the statistics are very high that this person who does x-rays for homebound people, took this virus and spread it to other patients. unacceptable.
