Not only did I receive excellent care from patient, kind, and compassionate staff, but I was also treated by a doctor and nurses who were familiar with my relatively rare condition. First, the resident on duty came to see me twice and was in a hurry both times, no conversation allowed. Second, there were 2 nurses who were not friendly and never showed up when the call button was utilized. I did have an assistant pull a wet sheet from under me and I made a comment saying you can come home with me all the time and make my bed for me! WRONG WRONG WRONG! She actually complained to the nursing staff that I was saying something very insulting and improper! Come on Sofia, think about what was said prior to reporting me for being improper! Boy that was a first!! In addition, I had to press and hold the call button 3x until someone finally answered me!! Sure, an ER or ED does get busy on weekends, but having to press a call button 3x is pretty serious oversight! Would I ever to to chilton ER ever again, NO NO NO! Non responsive staff, nasty:unfriendly nursing staff and no assistance after many attempts to obtain a blanket! Sorry Chilton, my dad was CMO of a 900 bed facility and I grew up in hospitals especially going for pre med. CHILTON WAS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, STAY AWAY!!

The technician in particular really helped to make an awkward situation more comfortable. I was there for some x-rays because I fell down a flight of stairs. Only thing that bothered me a little was that the technician gave me a preliminary assessment after taking the x-rays (but insisted that I should wait for the Doc to confirm) and told me my tailbone looked broken (or as my friend puts it, that I broke my a$$). My doc's receptionist called me a few days later to say that everything was fine, I could continue on with my usual activities, etc. So just a word of advice that when the techs tells you to wait for the Doc to confirm and make the diagnosis, do just that ... but I will say that I didn't like the idea of a broken a$$ and would've rathered not hear the preliminary assessment at all.

On two separate visits for an MRI, I was not properly informed in advance about what documentation or items I needed to bring. Each time, this resulted in having to reschedule--something that could have easily been avoided with clearer communication upfront. What was most concerning was that even after finally providing everything requested, I was brought into the MRI area and prepared for the scan, only to be told at that point that I still needed to leave and retrieve additional information. This led to a total visit time of over four hours without completing the procedure. To their credit, some staff members acknowledged the disorganization, but that does not make up for the inconvenience and wasted time. For a medical facility, especially one handling scheduled imaging, this level of inefficiency and lack of preparation is disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not return and would recommend that others confirm all requirements in detail before scheduling or arriving.

Getting to office building that houses Overlook Imaging was like driving along a spaghetti noodle,…read morewith all its twists and turns, and the office itself looks as if it hasn't been updated since the 1990s. The receptionist was efficient, though not overly pleasant, which is not a big deal. (Hey, I wouldn't want to start dealing with all types of patients beginning at 8 a.m. either!) The imaging technician was lovely and patient, explaining what was going to happen and making conversation, which made the entire visit fly by. (She's the reason for four stars instead of three.) The CT scanner appeared to be state of the art, while the x-ray machine also seemed to be of a current generation. It was a pleasure to undergo two sets of imaging procedures, and I was in and out within 20 minutes.

Told to be there at 8am (last 2 times I got there at 6:30am) and I waited in waiting room until 845 before being taken into prep room. Another 45 minutes to start IV and do paperwork. Then I laid waiting in the bed until 945 . They took me in for the epidural injections which took about 25 minutes, 15 minutes in recovery dressed and out door. So 3 hours for something that takes about 1 hour total time. But the place is very clean with a friendly staff.

I took an ultrasound on my neck right side,left side and throat during my ultrasound I pointed out…read moreto the technician that I had a spot on my right side of my neck where there was a lump that was no longer there when I got my results back do you know they only gave me results for that one spot on the right side of my neck but my referral states neck cervix soft tissue witch is pretty much the whole neck for insurance purposes so the get paid more money they are refusing to give me my results for my whole neck and throat so now my doctor have to right a whole new script for the other results just because they want more money I've called and spoke to supervisor and she was a smart mouth rude bitch everybody there that answered the phone treated me like shit no one cared about my health no matter how much I called they hung up on me and yes I did curse them out money hungry MF.
