From the moment you check in, you are treated kindly and as though you are a person- not a client. The team is thorough and compassionate and walk you through the entire process. The team member who did my mammogram was gentle and cheers you on the entire time "almost done, doing great, almost done!" I had the slightest wait afterwards to be in seen by the PA and the staff member who brought me into my examine room apologized for the wait, but also informed me that the results look great and the doctor would just be a few more minutes...this may sound small, but waiting for the results is stressful and it put me at ease. The PA, Kruti McDonald was absolutely WONDERFUL. She spent time listening and talking to me and didn't rush at all. She was thorough, knowledgeable and TOOK HER TIME-- again, made me feel as though I mattered, my concerns mattered and that she honestly cared. I really can't recommend MBC enough.

There is no longer a MD to read mammograms or bone density scans. Making appts is a nightmare. I paid twice because statements were confusing and incorrect. AVOID. This place has gone way downhill since it was acquired by NJIN. The technician was OK but…read morethe rest of the experience is sub par. I used to come here back when it was Montclair Radiology and the location is super convenient for me, but this is the last time I'll be coming here after repeated poor experiences. First, online scheduling. I must have uploaded my information 6 times -- they keep asking you to upload your personal documents repeatedly. Arrived there 15 mins ahead of appointment time as requested. Had to register once, they took my personal identification from me, then got called to a desk and STILL had to fill out additional paperwork. No one communicates with you about what's happening -- other patients waiting explained to me, oh, they're taking your ID and then you'll be called up to the desk. Waited 45 mins. after my appointment, so total of an hour from their requested arrival time. This was an appointment early in the morning too. The waiting room was already full of people with few seats by time I was called. Routine mammogram, was fine for what it was. In and out in 10 minutes. The whole process of making you wait foreever, making you give documents repeatedly, and poor communication throughout makes you feel like livestock, not a human. Nevermind them charging you extra for AI-aided exams. It's a personnel savings for them, but because insurance companies don't cover AI exam reading yet, they pass along the cost to the customer. Poor move and no, did not opt for this. Told me results would be posted to my portal in 24-48 hours. Going on day 5 here and no results yet. Tried calling and you cannot reach a human. They make you leave a message to get a call back. Records aren't reflected on my doctor's portal either so I have no way to learn about my results. Lovely way to add stress to my week. I live so close to this location, in fact, that I know they are not good neighbors to the people who live in surrounding properties in a residential neighborhood. Their employees have nowhere to park so they park too close to driveways which creates blindspots pulling into traffic. They extended their hours much later than the former owners and there are delivery trucks, landscaping, snow removal people who literally show up with loud trucks in the middle of the night. Have had several similar experiences in the past with waits, not being able to reach anyone over the phone, etc. Continued to come for the convenience of the location, but never, ever, ever again will I return.

This was by far the worst experience I've had at an Urgent Care facility and quite possibly at a medical facility. The positive was that the check in process was smooth thanks to their technology. And that's the extent of the positive. The waiting area while large and open was riddled with tattered paper signs, business cards for realtors and all other types of unrelated paraphernalia. The rooms where you are seen were hands down dirty and you can see that in some of my pictures. The doctor was not professional and the best example I have is him literally POKING an area that I was in to have examined with his BARE FINGER without any warning, which in turn made me SWAT his finger away from me and scream OUCH because it hurt and also because he did NOT have on medical examination gloves! There's so much more I could share but the bottom line is if you're looking for professional medical care in a clean environment then this is NOT the place you should visit.

Moreover, she kept my mother as a patient, so it was a personal issue with me. She had no empathy for me and was condescending and egotistical. As for the other doctors--I spent nearly three decades being gaslit about my medical issues and blamed for them. The doctors knew that I was under severe stress and that cortisol affects everything. They nonetheless blamed me for my poor sleep (I was an unpaid caregiver for my parents), issues with diabetes (they kept telling me that "you need to lose weight" as though that was the *only* way to manage it and it was just on me to fix this), my extremely heavy periods ("you need to lose weight and it'll go away!"-- it did not), and felt dismissed. I didn't realize until I left the area how much I'd been gaslit.
